Staff really really made my day. Friendly,helpful, and nothing was any trouble (even delivered my freshly baked pork pie to my van)... Thank you to the staff 👍... oh, and the pork pie was Delicious 😋

Obviously hit them on an off day. My daughter went last week on her lunch break (prison officer) raved about her pasty. Hubby loves the pork sandwiches and pork pies. Thought I’ll get him a sandwich for his lunch tomorrow (and the dog a sausage roll😂😂). Well it would have been rude to not get a pasty for me. It’s the worst pasty I’ve ever had. The filling was rock solid it felt as if it had been there a week! I’ve had the pasty’s before never had a bad one. This may have been a o r off but should have been taken off sale well before. See what the sandwich is like. Mind the dog loved the sausage roll! Hopefully it’s a one off

Lovely staff, but it's the 3rd time I've bought sausages from them in the hope they were better, far too salty. I wanted to support my local butchers, but too salty is not for me.

Lovely Family Butchers. Quality is outstanding on fresh, cooked and hot counter items. They also often have special items such as cook at home Hot Shot Parmos and seasonal items. The cheese savory is amazing too. Great for a grab in go lunch as serve hot and cold items including deli sandwiches. Highly recommended.

Not sure if we caught them them on a bad day... We bought a family sized cheese & onion quiche, which looked great, it was absolutely tasteless mush, it didn't even taste of cheese and the corned beef pie was white I side, almost pure potatoe... absolute rubbish, we won't be going back. very disappointing

Great quality butchers. Friendly staff who are always happy to help. We always get their Christmas hampers and they do some of the best pies around... 👍🏻

Superb meat in the meat pack for £15. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Offered to make it up fresh, I said I’d go back for it in an hour. Everything was ready. Very impressed! Meat has lasted for 6 meals for a family of 3. I’ll be back this coming week for another pack!

Stopped here while down staying with friends. Staff were all so friendly. We picked up a meat pack which is great value for money. We need this kind of butcher back home!

I’ve had most of the meat packs at one time or another. As well as being great quality they are fantastic value. Gary, the butcher is knowledgable and helpfu, and all the staff are lovely. I highly recommend.

Took home a meat pack for summer bbq.... fab, good quality meat and fab mint sauce for the lamb steaks.... spot on!

The mince and onion pies are really good, the pork and apple pies melt in the mouth. Handy for getting breakfast sandwiches too, plus meat for cooking at home. The stir fry chicken is really nice.

I started buying my meat from Taylor’s Newton Hall the week they opened and have never looked back. They are accommodating to my needs, give great recommendations and the quality and value for money far surpass anything I’ve bought in a Supermarket. Top class!!

Called into here with a mate to pick up some lunch while we were working. Discovered the pork and apple pies and have never tasted anything like it in my life. The breakfast sarnies were spot on but the pork pies were incredible. I live in Gateshead but regularly drive through to Newton Hall for my fix. And the big glass bottles of irn bru for £1 are great.

Andrea makes a mean Bacon and Egg sandwich, You really can't beat them and the cuppas are just to die for 😊

Taylor's Butcher's sells the best meat for miles, all locally sourced which I believe is very important.Their cooked section sells the most wonderful pies, the pork pies are an award winning legend! As well as pies, the takeaway sells all manner of hot sandwiches; roast pork and stuffing sort of thing. Staff are wonderful and so friendly. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Who needs a supermarket?

It's definitely worth the drive here! Don't be afraid to ring up if you have any questions regarding what they have available or would like to know the price of something, the staff are so kind and friendly, both in person and over the phone. I've never once been disappointed with a purchase either, the deli & pies are nothing short of perfection. There's a lot of variety which is nice and the prices are highly competitive which is surprising when you factor in the quality of everything they have on offer! Give them a chance and I guarantee you won't regret it. Highly recommended!

If it's a pie or bacon sandwich. Burgers or fresh chicken this is the best around. I live locally and the smell of cooked meats is amazing. Also nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Pay a visit you'll be glad you did.

They go out of their way to give you what you need. Friendly and professional service in all their shops.

This is a great butchers!! Pork pies are amazing as is everything we have tried!! The cleanliness is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful, They also do sandwiches to take out, Fantastic quiches corned beef slices!! All good!! Highly recommend this butchers to anyone!

This butcher/bakers is great not only for meat & pies but for breakfast buns etc. The large pork & black pudding pies are a must try
