Really nice set up. Comfy beds. Powerful showers. Big lounge, dinner and outside area to relax in. Useful kitchen. Has everything thing you need. Enjoyed my stay here in April.

Went to the Bunkhouse with a group of friends for a lads weekend (14th _ 16th April 2023). It's absolutely perfect. More than everything you could need. Well stocked with everything for cooking meals for a large group. Comfortable beds. A large lounge for relaxing and good free broadband Brilliant location right on the river. We spent most of our evenings around the firepit (take your wood with you). Great covered barbecue area (charcoal). It's exactly what it says on the tin "Tay Bunkhouse" great location, really helpful owner, Everyone in our group loved it, and we're definitely going back. Highly recommended for a lads/girls weekend.

9 guys in our late 40s/early 50s. Was a post wedding stag gathering as pre-wedding wasn't possible due to covid. Stumbled upon the Tay Bunkhouse when looking for a suitable venue and so glad we did. Everything was perfect for our needs, particular highlights being the firepit and BBQ. Really comfortable lounge with plenty of room, great comfy beds, good showers (2) and clean toilets (2). Kitchen was well kitted out with plenty of refrigeration for the cooling of beer. Really fast wifi which we were able to stream football on the good sized tv. River Tay at foot of garden for hangover walks, one of the lads went fishing and caught 2 Brown Trout (permit required). All in a fantastic house which we're already talking about renting again. Brilliant venue for a short break with friends!

Easy to find and within no time you can visit Perth and Pitlochry! Peaceful location, it is an old Post Office near a river, it has a good size garden. BBQ and this is under cover, so you are not reliant on good weather ! Gazebo Fire pit has wood stumps to sit on which are cool Comfy lounge furniture with TV All ideal for outdoors activities or lazing around Met one of the owners, George, a good guy and interested in your having a nice time, Ben and George also run gorge walking activity ! Enjoy 😎👍🏻

This bunkhouse is amazing! We had an amazing weekend here. Launched the canoes straight from the garden & paddled down the river for an epic lunch in Dunkeld. The location is perfect, the beds are comfy, the rooms are lovely & the garden is pretty cool with the surprise addition of a fire pit & BBQ area. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Thanks for a brilliant stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Easy check in check out. We were however disappointed with the lack of cleanliness esp during current circumstances. The fridge smelt awful and would be cleaner on our departure ....the floors were also dirty and much better once I had cleaned them myself. The house needs gutted and a full clean I'd say. The firepit and garden are great! We had a call due to noise complaint...the following day. Surely this could have been communicated at the time and we would have resolved it there & then.

Great location. Very clean accommodation. Ben was really friendly and helpful, especially with locating items we had left behind! Recommend for families. Very quiet considering we were next to a busy road. Will definitely be back. Have already told friends about it!

Well maintained. Had everything we needed on our stay. Only negative was how noisy the beds were whenever you moved at all. If your staying with a few people I'd recommend earplugs.

Perfect location right by the river! The garden's ideal for sunny BBQs or relaxing around the fire pit in the evenings. House is spacious, clean and comfortable. We'll be back next year!

Such a nice location and the place is really clean and comfortable and more like a holiday cottage than a bunkhouse. Spacious garden leading down to beautiful Tay river.

Made a special autumn trip to Cafe Kisa for coffee and cake. It’s been a while and the old Cafe Kisa we once knew is now a fabulous new Cafe Kisa restaurant and coffee venue, same street, just across the road. Beautiful venue, excellent staff, warming tasty coffee, yummiest scones ever. Wish we were staying for lunch, though it is always best to book. Having mobility issues I always dread, often fear, having to visit the special access facilities. Hallelujah, stunning, great care and consideration has been given to visitors to this facility, thank you. My husband managed to climb the stairs to the toilets and his comment was - amazing. Worth the climb. Cafe Kisa is such a great asset to this lovely village, lucky locals. We hope to visit again soon as the food we saw being served was truly mouthwatering.

Such a memorable, lovely experience staying at Saorsa 1875. Highly, highly recommend. Other accommodation around and about the Highlands could learn a lot from this place. Finding your USP and totally owning it. So refreshing from the usual b&b / hotel in these parts. It’s a beautiful place from the hotel itself to the staff to the food. You also don’t have to be vegan to enjoy the wonderful food and drink (I’m not!). Would defo return. Thank you.
