Tavernaki Portobello in Kensington and Chelsea

Estaba deambulando buscando un almuerzo ligero cuando me topé con este lugar. El camarero me dio la bienvenida y me hizo sentir cómodo. La comida era deliciosa y la guarnición lateral acompañó el plato principal perfectamente. Me estaba recuperando de una enfermedad y me senté a absorber la atmósfera y me mantuve fresco del sol. No me sentí presionado a dejar u ordenar nada más. Deliciosa comida, ambiente relajado con la cantidad adecuada de ambiente y atmósfera. Me encantaría volver algún día.

auténtico restaurante griego. La fachada es engañosa, experimentará una comida maravillosa, gente charlatana y agradable con una sonrisa fácil, y muy orientado al servicio. Tenemos maravilloso moussaka, soulvaki y ensalada griega. Olvidé pedir que el vendaje estuviera a un lado. Inmediatamente se pusieron en contacto con la cocina. Desgraciadamente la ensalada estaba terminada, pero nos ofrecieron hacer una nueva si no estábamos satisfechos. Toda la comida era deliciosa y muy sabrosa🤗de la tubería de pan griego caliente, delicioso Tzatziki y el resto de la comida. Entiendo que había una "cola afuera". Se recomienda llamar o reservar una mesa.

Gran comida, gran servicio, buena ubicación. Si estás buscando comer en Notting Hill - y no quieres comer comida callejera (porque tus piernas están cansadas y quieres un lugar para sentarse) este es el lugar. La comida era auténtica comida griega - porciones generosas, y el servicio era genial. Sin duda volvería y probar diferentes platos!

Como griego, recomiendo este restaurante y diría que es el mejor que encontré en el oeste de Londres. Teníamos souvlakia y eran perfectos. Suave y sabroso. Y su pan pitta es tan delicioso. Definitivamente vendrá de nuevo.

Reservamos todo el restaurante un domingo por la tarde para organizar un almuerzo de cumpleaños para familiares y amigos. No podemos agradecer a Anna y su equipo lo suficiente, la comida era deliciosa, auténtica y abundante y acompañada de música bouzouki en vivo que tenía a todos bailando griego. El servicio fue increíble. Después del almuerzo nos mudamos abajo a su bar Nisos recién abierto para tomar bebidas, incluyendo excelentes cócteles de la casa. Gracias Anna, Panos, Stavros, Alexandros & Alexandros y todo el equipo de Tavernaki Portobello por su cálida y maravillosa hospitalidad, estaremos de vuelta!

Tuvimos la noche más brillante. El personal, la comida y el ambiente, incluyendo música bouzouki en vivo eran fantásticos. Los comensales se inspiraron para bailar al igual que el personal. Si estuviera más cerca iríamos cada semana.

Visitado y disfrutado tanto con mi hijo mayor y mi hija - una cálida bienvenida encantadora, deliciosa comida, amable y abrazable, 100% recomendable!

Tuve mi cena de cumpleaños para 15 aquí un sábado. Comida, personal y ambiente increíble. Un saludo especial a Alexandros con quien reservé. A un precio razonable. Muy recomendable.

Lascia molte perplessità... Carne dura e anche abbastanza grassa Nessun condimento supplementare offerto Solo dopo 35 minuti il cameriere ci avvisa che ci vorrà ancora 5 minuti...ma perché così tanto per.due.bistecche??? Un restaurante muy concurrido con un gran ambiente. Personal agradable y eficiente. Un buen menú auténtico con un montón de opciones.

Había una banda en vivo mientras estábamos allí el domingo que tocaba música al estilo griego que nos encantó mientras cenábamos. La comida era preciosa, realmente recomiendo el entrante de calamar. El personal era muy amable y nos encantó la auténtica decoración griega. Sin duda volveremos!

3 couples arrived today from Boston to our Arbnb in the Notting Hill area of London. The recommended restaurants were packed and we, thankfully, found this tavern which was warm and wonderful. Great service, wonderful options, good wine selection. Great find!

Second visit to this restaurant in 2 years and it just doesn’t disappoint. Was in London with colleagues and decided to take them there as the menu is varied and there are plenty of options for vegetarians and I really enjoyed my previous visit. The staff are really welcoming and let us choose our own table as it was quiet on arrival. We ordered and the drinks arrived nice and quickly. The food was fabulous like before, I had the saganaki and slouvaki and they did not disappoint. My colleagues were impressed too. Found the prices to be really reasonable. By the time we finished our starters the restaurant was full to the brim, it seems to be a very popular choice

Good food however very slow service . We were the only customer in the establishment went to celebrate a birthday . Staff does not speak good English

Went on a Sunday afternoon with family, table booked for 16:30 with the live Greek singers starting around 17:00. Very busy, but great relaxed atmosphere. We had a selection of starters to share between the 6 of us, all very good. Most of us went for the chicken souvlaki which came with chips, pitta bread and a dip, very nice. The staff are attentive, friendly and hard working. All in all a very nice, relaxed 4 hours

The person working in the Highlander shop said this was the best restaurant on Portabello Street. We love Greek food so we were excited to try it out. We shared the saganaki, traditional Greek salad, and lamb chops. Everything was very authentic and delicious!! The flavors… yum. The decor was super cute. There’s a tree in the dining area. I would highly recommend this for a quick sit down meal.

Best Greek food in Portobello Road! Service is impeccable and the staff is super kind, the owner offered us a Mastika (topical Greek liquor) Starters and mains were amazing and the wines and beers too. We will come back for sure!

Ho pranzato con la mia famiglia . L'ambiente è caratteristico e ben curato. Peccato che il piatto che ho scelto, cioè il kleftiko, non è stato cucinato correttamente e mi è arrivata della carne in umido. Gli altri piatti erano invece buoni

My sister-in-law and I were absolutely enchanted by this delightful Greek restaurant nestled in the heart of Portobello. The cuisine surpassed our expectations, offering truly authentic Greek dishes with wonderfully generous portions. The service left us impressed, as the staff were incredibly warm and hospitable. Our overall impression of Tavernaki was that it flawlessly excelled in every aspect. Needless to say, we're eagerly anticipating our next visit.

Ein sehr netter, kleiner Grieche in der Portobello-Road. Wir hatten hier geteilt Vorspeisen (Tzatziki, Pitakia, Feta me Mili, Kolokithokeftedes) und Hauptspeisen (Souvlaki und Soutzoukakia) und wir waren von jedem einzelnen Teil begeistert. Das Ambiente ist toll, mit einem Baum hinten im Raum fühlt man sich an einen anderen Ort versetzt. Die Preise dabei sehr OK, wenn man bedenkt, wo man ist.

Stepped into this delightful place just fancying a spot of lunch, was welcomed with a smile showed to a table the waiter took our order and my word we had the taramasalata as a starter and it was stunning along with our mains. Beautiful food, very clean, happy helpful staff and just a pleasure. Will be back again

This restaurant experience was really lovely. The food was exceptional and authentic. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgable. The portion sizes are very generous and we had ordered a few starters to share as well as mains which was too much food for us to handle. We would likely share a starter and have mains or share numerous starters and leave the mains next time. Thank you to Tavernaki Portobello for a lovely evening. We will be back and recommending you.

Fabulous! Took me ages to order as every item on the menu was a winner. Friendly, attentive staff, great atmosphere and excellent food.
