Tapas La Casa Bar & Restaurant in Manchester

This is NOT a 24 hour restaurant as stated on Google! I saw it was attached to a decent hotel, so I did think it was a genuine possibility that it could be open... When I arrived, the male hotel desk staff looked at me as if I was some vagrant walking in off the street!! (For the record, Im a well presented woman in my 30s...) It was still a reasonable time, it being approx 10:30pm on a Sunday, I was met with hostility, like my enquiry was a total inconvenience to them. I politely pointed out that Google states, specifically, the restaurant is 24hr, the response was "the hotel is 24hr" 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ I would never want to spend money based on the severe lack of customer service, judgemental attitude and the manner in which my enquiry was dealt with. Terrible.

3 stars only because the ambience is cosy, otherwise 1 star. Give the red house wine a miss, it tasted like vinegar. Also skip the prawn gambas, the shrimps were over cooked till it’s less than half the original size. Texture like little rubber bits. Beer looks alright.

Großartiger Service und gute Auswahl. Es gab verschiedene Kaffees und Teesorten, Omelette und Auswahl an Marmelade und Honig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service durch das Personal. Hier insbesondere die herzliche Betreuung durch Frau Aurora. Es ist immer wieder schön, wenn man professionell und herzlich behandelt wird. Danke für den guten Start in den Tag.

Fantastic staff , the manager and his colleague Aurora couldn't do enough for us. Supported with allergies, amazing service and generally provided a great atmosphere. Tapas was authentic, tasty and fresh. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning. Very reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Thanks again Tapas la casa

The restaurant is serving hot breakfast for AC Hotel by Marriott guests and not sure if do so for outsider guests. The food is good especially the type of eggs and hot food. The restaurant is open for around 4 hours with light Spanish menu during afternoon from 5 pm to 8:30 pm.

Went for the first time on Saturday, pre-booked a table for 4 of us. A good choice on the menu, we had a shared starter and 5 dishes per couple. Swift service, good portions and tasty food. Cannot fault the restaurant or service, would definitely go again.

Amazing ambiance! Great atmosphere, delicious food!

I was staying for 3 nights at the AC hotel. The first night, I was tired so decided to simply have dinner at the hotel. The bartender was very pleasant (Andrew). A few large glasses of wine and food. I was hungry so I ordered some meatballs, fried seafood plater and mixed grilled veggies. I ordered some olives on the side, but don't do that as the platter came with olives. Overall the food was good, fresh and tasty.

Went for the first time the afternoon tea tapas style was amazing lots of variety loved how it was small plates of food and scones, brownies for the sweet stuff. Amazing it was staff so friendly went out there way topping us up checking everything was okay will definetely be going back highly recommend.

What a hidden gem if you fancy some delicious made to order authentic Spanish tapas this is the place to go. Yes it's quite but it is brand new but the food and the service was excellent we will be definitely returning.

If Wetherspoons served tapas, except this was way more expensive. The restaurant had no atmosphere it was actually a bit awkward. All of the food tasted as though it had been defrosted. Give this place a miss there are so many great restaurants in Manchester this isn’t worth your time or money. Would like to say the server was lovely but that doesn’t make up for the overall experience.
