Tailors Gin in Leeds

First time here with my fiancé we had two lovely drinks recommended and served by the fabulous Kelly and Mara!

A fun new bar in Leeds offering cocktails and gins. A tailors by day a speakeasy by night. Dress up and enjoy your drinks. Great fun. I've not eaten there, so I can not comment, I don't believe they do food.

My girlfriends third visit but my first, soon as we walked in I could tell we would experience something a little different. Decor is awesome, super friendly welcome, we was escorted to lovely, cosey seats and the whole Tailors experience was explained to us, really relaxing, just a proper nice, chilled, retro atmosphere, will defo be back. A small intimate bar with a Jazz Age vibe. Full of vintage memorabilia such as Singer sewing machines, gramaphones. They also provide you with costumes and accessories to dress up. Amazing place. Great cocktails. Always a part of our nights out in Leeds.

Good service, quiet little place for a negroni in the middle of the city (shame there was no orange slice or peel in the negroni, maybe they ran out)

Order the apple pie! Its the only place that serves it and the richness of the favor coupled with the nostalgic retro vintage ambiance will transport you into another world!

Wonderful place! Very cosy. Cocktails are gorgeous - I can recommend the Juliette! I just wish there were more on the menu Service is slow, chaotic even, although friendly. (And don't go with more than 8 people - it's just not big enough!)

Such a nice, cosy and unique place for a drink. It is a real tailors shop by day, changing for gin lounge by night. If you are fan of gin, this is the place to go. Great choice of gin and drinks and they taste really good. Great relaxing atmosphere, which take you back in time and very welcoming and friendly service.

Such a lovely place!! The drinks were fab, a good price for what they are (espresso martini was incredible) and the staff were really nice and friendly - good chat! Will be back!!

Went to the New Year's Eve Gin and Jazz and had a brilliant time. Delicious drinks served by attentive staff accompanied a fabulous performance by the musician Cleve Freckleton, we loved it.

Love this place! Tailors Speakeasy Gin n Jazz happens on first Sunday afternoon of the month. What a delight! Fabulous music, delicious extraordinary cocktails and the warmest vibe. We first visited in 2019 and revisited in 2023 (long overdue). A decedant dream of a place that we love so much we travelled from Wolverhampton to Leeds to do it all again and it was certainly worth it! We will be back much sooner next time! This place is a rare treat and so very worth a visit.

My third time in Leeds and finally the opportunity to spend the night here. Whilst looking for a bar I came across this little gem.. what it lacks in draft options it makes up for in it’s incredible atmosphere and unique set up. Talented singers were on tonight making the somewhat small bar packed. Even know I was stuck outside, definitely worth fighting for a seat at this place.

Kelly and Vicky were lovely. We went in ten mins before close and they served us and didn’t rush us at all. Super sweet ladies. Very inviting and the drinks were great.

Great place for cool cocktails in a perfect atmosphere with live music. Try the oak smoked rum….it’s heavenly!

Had a great time here for a work social - excellent drinks, awesome staff and fab atmosphere. We need more places like this, I’ll be going back for sure! 🏆

This is an absolute mega little venue with it's own bespoke gin and live music. If you enjoy something a bit different on an evening, this place is well worth a visit

Héctor, the musicians (elena, will and nick) and the magician made my night the best!!!!! Really recommended to visit on thursdays, but it still super nice for a every night drink. So excited to go back!!! Also mention the amazing cocktails and flavoured gins i tried!!

Tailors gin is a special place in every way, perhaps my favourite bar in leeds. The atmosphere and vibes are a perfect mix between sophisticated and relaxed. it’s a small, intimate venue that takes you back in time. The drinks are a work of art, the subtle flavours that come through with every sip are hard to replicate. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, they are really passionate about keeping the place going, they take such good care of you, explaining the menu, giving you recommendations and explaining the history of the place, the service is unbeatable. the live music on a Thursday tops it all, with talented artists playing jazzy covers and originals, what’s not to love? The final touch is the clothes and accessories that customers are free to try on and wear during their stay at Tailors!! it's truly an amazing place I cannot recommend it enough!

The most incredible experience! My best friend and myself booked for the bottomless brunch and it was such a treat. The gin is just exquisite and there are so many flavours to choose from. The cocktails are sublime. Hector is the most wonderful host and dressed us up like 20’s superstars. Josh is awesome and Julia is the best bar tender ever. 100% recommend - most unique bar in Leeds!

Nice place, great concept, very nice selection of drinks, nice and friendly staff.

Got one of their signature cocktails recommended by the bar staff. Got the apple pie, very nice, had a slight taste of cinnamon with a refreshing cool taste afterwards. A hint of cinnamon leaves lingering on the tongue which satifies my pallette. Dependedant on the individual but worth a try anyhow. Their other cocktails also sounded nice but wanted to try their most popular cocktail.

Like an episode of Mr Benn you enter a vintage clothes store, and come out having experienced something something rather different and with a wide smile! A tailors by day and bar by night it offers a cosy and fun booze grotto. I don't drink gin (makes me desolate...) but the rum Old Fashioned was just magnifique!

Called here tonight with my daughter, sat on a bench, no table, obvious they thought we were "common" by attitude, waited 10 minutes, still no drinks, why? Was it because my daughter is mixed race?, or that we were in jeans???

What an atmospheric bar, like a snapshot in time. Lovely selection of spirits and some bottle beers. Great service and vibe.

An incredible bar with plenty of options for non gin drinkers too. Cocktails perfect, and the atmosphere was amazing. One of the best bars in Leeds for sure.

Our party of 4 visited on Friday night, we had such a fantastic time, from the moment we walked in. The place is a fabulous cosy speakeasy, with a really great atmosphere. Our waiter was so welcoming, he got us all wearing hats and we fell right into the 1920's. Our waiter mentioned the magician as we ordered our cocktails, we were too busy chatting and laughing, but when the waiter mentioned him again and said "he WILL blow your mind" we said we'd love to see him. He was absolutely terrific, the waiter was not wrong, our minds were blown. You are sat just feet away from him, in fact my sister was sat right next to him and he entertained and mesmerized. We stayed for another round of cocktails and it rounded the night off perfectly. My nieces both live in Leeds so I very much expect we will visit again. I 100% recommend this gem and the close up magic, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing cosy cocktail bar! The bar tender who served us was so kind and patient with us when we were ordering (even at near closing on a Saturday) and made us the nicest Apple Pie cocktail. There was a rack of 20s clothes and hats to dress up into as you walked in, which made the experience feel really immersive and unique. Will definitely be coming back here. 10/10

Bartenders were amazing at their jobs and went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary requirements! The tall bartender with the black shirt was very friendly and kind! Amazing music! Small but cosy atmosphere. Thursday jazz night was an excellent experience where I got to see young talented musicians show off their incredible voices and mastery of instruments. Will definitely be going back.

Stumbled on this great little place. Beautiful vintage decor, swing and rock n roll on the speakers, tantalizing drinks and lovely staff. I’m not a boozer and they made me a very nice soft drink.

Fantastic time at this bar, we were persuaded to come in by an excellently well informed woman outside who gave us excellent drinks recommendations and looked after us the whole time we were there. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new experience

Amazing place. The atmosphere was great, the selection of gins was massive and the bartenders knowledge was spot on so was given great recommendations on new things to try, only popped in for one and ended up staying all night, would definitely recommend!

Fantastic bar. Loved the dressing up and great environment - brings the 1920s alive. The gin at Tailors is amazing! Our party drank and danced all night. I also met Matthew the resident Tailor and will be popping in later next week to look through their fabric books and hopefully i’ll walk out with a new suit! Fabulous all round - highly recommend to everybody
