Taco Bell in Birmingham

Food wasn’t bad. The portions, fillings were very stingy. I had 1x crunchy taco and 1x soft taco, more salad than beef. They tasted nice. I had the seasoned fries with nacho dip which was also nice, if they sort out the portions then they’ll do a lot better.

Food didn’t taste bad, but my taco was mostly salad, its joke how little meat they put in there, definitely not worth the money, sorry but first and last time

The food was great the grilled cheese burrito was definitely amazing the seasoned fries were good and the churros were delicious however the nacho cheese sauce was awful and way tot liquid and barely any cheese flavour

Going to make this brief… Overhyped, processed (not fresh at all) and another brand that produces low quality food with no authenticity. Don’t recommend.

The service was slow but friendly. Food was okay but poor value compared to other chains. Quality was adequate but does not remind me of the chain in America. Average overall.

I wasn’t going to write this review but, there was something inside of me telling me go onto the Google reviews and have a look what other customers are saying, about this restaurant, and to my surprise I was gobsmacked! Had I seen these ratings before I’d gone in and purchased a meal for two, I would’ve never of gone. The only downfall I’ve had is, I didn’t take any pictures but by looking at the pictures that other customers had uploaded , I can relate to their experience I’ve had today. My food was cold, flavourless, the portions were ridiculous, the only best thing was the fries and they were warm I will be calling to speak to the manager because this is not acceptable. I had to go back and get another crunch wrap, she was rude she told me that it’s only cold because of salad inside the wrap. Is she stupid or she has no common sense, So how was it hot 2nd time round? But I knew that they did this on purpose because the filling in the wrap was all of made up of the cheese sauce and sour cream. There was no meat filling in there whatsoever. There was about four members of staff behind the counter and all of them were just standing around laughing and talking out loud, thats is not good Customer Service, I just hope the owner or the Manager would take a look at the CCTV and do something about it because if that behaviour, your getting a lot of complaints hence your Google reviews are what they are today. if your staff concentrate more on their work than their personal issues, you’d get better reviews no wonder your restaurant was empty on an afternoon. That’s not normal. I’ve Walked into Taco Bell knowingly it’s a recognisable resturant, I shouldn’t have come out feeling like. I’m not doing this for a refund or free food I’m doing this so other customers shouldn’t feel how I felt today disgusted by the food quantity, quality and Customer Service. I have been to many Taco Bell restaurants in the UK and abroad. This is not the normal working practice. It’s definitely a problem within the staff and the Restaurant itself it needs to be addressed before they get shut down. Customer’s please be advised there’s other nicer restaurants good quality food to eat around the area so don’t waste your time and money in this restaurant!!

I LIKED IT!! And if you don’t you probably aren’t eating it right so LISTEN UP! I’ve been about 4 times now and not had any issues with service (but I’ve gone weekdays lunchtime so it’s not super busy) the service is fine. Quick. The staff are never stingy with the sauce satchets (but they are with the meat it seems). The food was YUMMY for when you are craving tacos. We get the taco supremes everytime. Yes it should deffo have more meat but the meat is seasoned very well and tasty. If it’s falling apart you probably don’t know how to eat a taco. (You need to use the paper to hold one side). Also I think it’s better to eat freshly made in the venue rather than at home or as take out (the taco would get soggy). You ALWAYS ALWAY have to add one of their sauces (satchet sauces) or dips to their food to ENHANCE it otherwise you aren’t going to get the right burst of flavours your suppose to - it’s part of the whole Taco Bell food experience. I use the mild or hot Taco Bell sauces on top of the taco then a big bite to get a bit of everything in one mouthful. The fries are one of the best fries I’ve tasted. Super well seasoned and a nice spicy kick. Their Taco Bell sauces is really nice I put it on everything (the mild sauce is more flavourful to me). The cinnamon twists are really nice and different tasting. The churros are also yummy, warm, crispy and comforting (it’s like we get many churros here anyways). I think the wraps would be boring so stick to the tacos it’s the best item on menu. All in all it’s decent (for a fast food joint) but not terrible like everyone has made it out to be, like I said they probably don’t realise every meal needs to be eaten with the Taco Bell sauces (that’s why they give you loads) nice finally having Taco Bell in UK. Also I don’t get why Taco Bell gets so much hate when other fast food joints (maccys, kfc etc) are similar. End of the day it’s just fast food…. Fast tasty and convenient! The ONLY thing I dislike is I feel it’s expensive for what it is and there’s not enough meat! But fast food has become expensive everywhere now. I recommend trying it on Taco Tuesdays when they have the deals on if you want to save some money

Been waiting over 1.5 hours for food to arrive! Do expect people to eat past midnight Tacobell? There’s no update on food arrival time. At this rate it looks like we paid for next day delivery on our order, not the 30 mins delivery that was advertised. For the price charged you would be expecting a better service. Would never have again 👎

We had a disappointing experience at Taco Bell. The wraps were just mayo-filled with few pieces of chicken and the fries were too spicy and salty. The portions didn't match what was advertised, leaving us hungry. Cold atmosphere, greedy portions, waste of money! First and last time!

Zeshan is a perfect example of an outstanding Manager. Excellent Service and fresh food from Zeshan and team.

A decent place to eat, they have a good selection of items to choose from and their churros tasted good with the caramel dip.

ordered at 6.30... the delivery was supposed to be by 7.15 and came at 7.35... it was cold... the burrito was flat not alot of filling like the picture shows... super mis leading for the price and nothing volcanic about the flavour either... cold soggy chips... greasy tacos & cold hard churros... for the cost... service charge & delivery... not worth it...

No the best of tastes and too expensive for what it was. A lot of oil in the taco meat.

I visited Taco Bell today, October 30, with my family, and I have to say I was very disappointed. We ordered several burritos, but they looked nothing like the pictures advertised. They were the smallest burritos I’ve ever seen (see attached picture) only few pieces of chicken inside. If you’re hungry, I suggest you avoid this place. It was a frustrating experience overall.

Edit: also very bad customer service online and a hard to use feedback portal. All they said was sorry the portion sizes werent as you expected. They disregarded the fact that i said the food was atrocious. Absolutely awful food, vile, tastes like taco kits you get from asda, taco is filled to the brim with salad and the filling is just sloppy. The mini burritos are just mini wraps. The fries that are seasoned taste like nothing.

Absolutely awful food. The wrap was mostly melted cheese and i can’t describe how awful it was. Didn’t even eat it. I personally think the chefs are composing the food in the wrong way or in a hurry. Not going here ever again.

Me and partner thought try it out, my partners food was just about warm wraps were really soft for the price wouldn't really recommend just tasted like chilli con carne especially the beef staff weren't much communication between customers

Ordered at the self-service, and the food was pretty quick. All tables were messy, and bits of food and trays left there. The food was a massive letdown, as I've not been to any other taco bell I don't know if it was an issue at this store or just what taco bell is like generally. The food was very dry and the fillings of the burrito and taco was very minimal. The fries were okay and the churros were nice. The layout of the seating seems a bit strange and makes it feel a little like a workplace cafeteria. Also the price for the amount of food is just not worth it. Disappointing experience and will not be coming back. Also, personally, i didn't have any issues with staff, but I heard one of the servers be completely rude with an elderly couple.

Overall we had no issues with food, all requests were fulfilled and the food was fine. 3 stars due to the self order machines. We did a big order on the touch screen with lots of customisations only to get to the end and it to say there was a error. We had to start again at the counter and this wasted a good 10 minutes.

I would like to bring to your attention an incident that occurred recently at your establishment. Upon placing my order, I noticed that the manager, Waheed, was not wearing gloves while handling food and exhibited unhygienic behavior by scratching his face, wiping his mouth, and touching his face before handling food. When I asked for a refund, I was informed that it was not permissible, despite the fact that my order had not been prepared or served. When I raised my concerns about the unhygienic behavior and requested a refund, the manager was dismissive and disposed of my receipt. I made the manager aware that I had recorded the incident and confronted him about his dishonesty. Once I openly recorded the situation and mentioned the manager's name and the store, he suddenly agreed to provide a refund. I find this behavior unacceptable for several reasons: 1. I requested a refund before my food had been prepared. 2. Handling food without gloves is unsanitary. 3. Touching the face and then handling food demonstrates poor hygiene practices. 4. Providing false information to customers regarding the refund policy is disrespectful. I am considering reporting this matter to the food hygiene agency due to concerns about the general handling of food at your establishment. If this is how the manager handles food in the public area, it raises questions about his conduct when not under public scrutiny.

Was excited to see a Taco Bell open locally. I have to say though, the experience was rather disappointing. I ordered the Tacos with fries. The food was bland and dry, the taco shell was very hard, and broke into hard shards and one did stick into my gum. Not nice at all. Not at all like my food experience in the USA

Never been to a taco bell allways wanted to try. 1st off the place is mess there is a guy cleaning (very polite cleaner) but it was like they left it untill last min to clean. I started speaking to the young girl behind till and the language barrier was challenging but we was getting by then someone comes to collect something so half way through our conversation/order she just walks off and starts speaking to him! made me angry so I used self serve the only sound in here is fans wiring and chairs scrapping, need music, Food was OK I guess just expected more from the hype Ordered full burrito in the end instead of the saver one and I was expecting bigger but it wasn't. It was tasty though

Went in for the first time the other day and the place was a dive. Food on the floor all under the tables, had to go up to the counter and ask someone to clean tables as all empty ones were covered in either food, sauce or people’s rubbish. The atmosphere overall wasn't welcoming and the food was NOT of quality for the price.

I don’t know why Taco Bells in the UK get so much hate. I ordered the taco supreme meal and the meat was nice and had good flavouring. The portion sizes were decent for the price and it was enough food for me. The only negative I have is the churros are really tough. It’s not amazing but it’s not terrible - personally I prefer it to the other fast food chains

The food was nice, but the dine in experience was not so nice. The place was dirty. Tables not getting cleaned and even when they did clean them only half were getting wiped. Not hygienically nice to eat in. No tissues available. No staff visible a few working but all busy with food orders.

Great delivery, don't think I'll eat from taco bell again

I'm not sure if this franchise is aware that tacos and burritos are supposed to have a filling. What they serve can more accurately be described as "lettuce in a wrap". The machines don't work (or didn't when I went in) so after placing your order, you have to tell the staff what you ordered so they can tell you your order number anyway. The churros were impossible to eat due to the fact that they seemed to be several weeks old. Taco Bell doesn't seem to have a customer service because when you submit a customer service enquiry the website takes you to a blank page and the "contact us" section says "page cannot be displayed. Update: been here for a second time several months later. The food is just as bad and I still think they're using the same batch of churos as they're still inedible. After receiving an abysmal amount of filling in both my taco and burrito I presented them to the manager without saying anything. The manager wasn't happy with the presentation of the food and said it would be made again. I informed him that although the smashed up taco was badly presented, my issue was that I'd just paid £9 for some lettuce in a taco shell and an empty piece of bread. The manager informed me that the quantities were correct and that the remade food would be the same, so I had a refund instead and will not be returning.

The food here is always amazing and delivered fast but we have had something missing the last three times - usually just a chips or a can of pop but this time a burrito, chips, can, and one order was beef instead of the specified black beans. Makes me hesitant to order when someone in the office might end up without no food!!
