Amazingly tasty food and good pricing. BUT The staff although fast they can be a bit blunt. The restaurant is designed for quick dinning but with no front of house host. The floor becomes very messy and tables not cleared

Have never tried Taco Bell before. The food was not as good as I expected. Don't get me wrong, the food was nice, but the portions were very small for the amount you paid.

Incredibly dirty. 9 people in the entire restaurant and 3 staff. Wouldn't hurt to wipe a table. Food was nice. But marred by a poor eatery experience

The food is LOVELY it’s fresh, it’s flavourful and the restaurant is CLEAN! The only down side to this was that it took 10 mins for a taco and a drink. Me and my friend will definitely be coming back. Thank you Taco Bell for this great service.

Dirty restaurant rubbish on floor and dirty windows

Ordered in Deliveroo (deluxe taco box) and half the stuff was missing such as the chicken tenders and they sent the wrong taco

Nice food. V busy of an evening for food pickups for delivery. Only a handful of customers wanting to eat in and the wait was quite long because of the delivery orders. Was clean and in good shape.

Tried to visit for a quick meal, given taco bell is a fast food restaurant. 6+ deliveroo drivers were waiting for orders and I was advised it would be over a 30 minute wait for any food. Only two customers were sat in the restaurant. A ridiculous length of time to wait. Did not get to try the food as I was not able to purchase any. Went next door to the McDonalds with approximately 30 customers sat in and was served within 5 minutes.

We were the only people in the restaurant and still took 20 minutes to get 2 borritos. Should of gone McDonald’s.

I enjoyed my food but I was not very impressed that my chips didn't come with the nacho sauce when I ordered it as I wanted the nacho sauce out of everything I had. The churros were really nice

Friendly and helpful staff. Pity the soft drink dispenser didn't have any ice and the drinks being dispensed were not cold.

Very long waits during lunch time

Really good food as a lunchtime meal or early evening light bite. Not too bad of a portion, but just enough to enjoy and not over indulge oneself. Busy time today, but the standard of food didn't diminish.

In an empty restaurant, the food always takes 30 minutes because all of the deliveries are prioritised. in the volcano burrito, it is completely unacceptable even with parts super dry and crunchy and others way too much sauce. fries are tiny, and churros are often without any flavourings and sometimes are overcooked and hard.

Very slow and staff ignoring customers

Several staff were stood behind the counter when we arrived and we took one of the tables available. There were several to choose from, all of them dirty. I had to ask for the table to be wiped, and I wasn’t the only customer who made this request. I ordered a plant based wrap. I took a bite, and the centre was frozen. So, this means they are made, frozen and defrosted in the microwave (or not defrosted on this occasion). I still had some of the frozen mess in my mouth whilst requesting a refund. A dirty place with disgusting food. I ate at Costa Coffe instead.

3 star food. Because the tacos are pure lettuce, the portions for the fries are tiny aswell as the sharing loaded fries. Only enough for one person. The volcano burritos most of the time have either next to no sauce or too much sauce or it's all packed at the bottom. 1 star service because even in an empty restaurant you can expect around a 20 minute wait because they greatly prioritize delivery over actual customers who can get off the couch and go to the restaurant that is supposed to be the face of the food chain. 2 star atmosphere because there is always rubbish on all the tables .Always. 2 star review average. (Note. Food is Very expensive. £8 for a wrap and a tiny cup of meat)

Food always tastes great but doesn't always look the best and the service is so slow!waited around 35 mins ,only 2 members of staff sorting food and one serving, also dirty tables and area around the drink dispenser was dirty

Only recently been using Taco Bell...first came across this outlet in Bridgwater..they offer very reasonably priced ,tasty freshly prepared food as a great alternative to the ubiquitous Burgers offered by other chains..

Everything was incredible. No let downs at all. The burrito was the best ive ever had, fries seasoned to perfection, just a normal drink and for dessert, the churros & caramel sauce went together perfectly. Friends & family agree

Visited for quick lunchtime snack. Between lunch and dinner time. The tables were not clean. Rubbish on floor. Empty trays on floor under seats. Asked the member of staff to clean a few tables. The waitress cleaned our tables immediately and was pleasant and polite. No receipt printer paper in either of the two self service kiosks, which meant we could collect the points/deals via the app. Keep the floor and table areas tidier and it could be a much better environment.

Waiting 30 minutes for our food, when it did come it had things missing. Hardly any meat filling in everything. My first visit, it will be our last.

Floors dirty, no napkins next to drink machine, needs a good clean in there. Shame really as food is amazing! No student discount, needs better management by the looks of it

Typical modern day eatery, only 6 customers eating yet took ages to get served, plenty of staff about but not serving, food was poor, don't know why we went in but won't again.

No photo was just passing both in our 50s and thought we would try it .Was quite filling would try again if in Plymouth .

Such a shame standards have dropped so disappointing on the meal we had it feels like they are holding back on the meat and chips. And there is a lingering smell that hits you as soon as you walk through the door and it's smells awful. Knock it down and start again

Used to be quite nice food when they opened, Had a meal with my boyfriend tonight and did click and collect, when we had brought it home my order of churros was missing, not cheap it's not difficult to read a screen and put it in the bag! Not happy and not worth £25 that we paid

So first every taco bell. Looking forward to the experience as I'm a fan of mexican food and we were there for a birthday lunch. Unfortunately, reality didn't live up to my own hype... the shop itself was just like every other fast food chain (we could have been in Mc Donald's) the staff were just as you'd expect in a fast food restaurant and the main event the spicy, flavoursome mexican food was.... Mmuhh. I had the seven layer burrito, I counted four maybe. The thin piece of lettuce, the slither of tomato, some plain rice, black beans oh and some white sauce (hopefully sour cream or mayo) each thin ingredient (I'm not going to give any credence to each bit being an 'actual' layer) was as bland as the last... The only way I added flavour was with the sachets of hot sauce... Which didn't boost the body of the meal in the slightest. Such a shame. YES we all get it, 'you have to cater to the pallets of the masses' but come on! people are hoping and wanting for something with substance! Something that tastes good enough to remark to others about later on. Unfortunately I can see taco bell blending into a disappointing memory. "Do you remember when taco bell came to the UK?"... "Not really..."

The plant protein is a cop out. They show all your 'favourites' with sour cream and nacho cheese inside. When you actually order the plant protein you have to omit the sour cream and cheese and your left with the plant mince and lettuce and tomato, no sauce or mayo alternatives. How hard is it to have a (vegan) or coconut based cheese to replace the dairy one. Vegan mayo is everywhere but not in taco bell! Should be marketed as vegetarian and not plant protein. That is why its worded as 'plant protein' and not vegan. Come on taco bell its a complete cop out!

My take a way cost £25 for what seemed like kids portions and was stone cold even though delivery was fast. In fact the warmest part of this meal was the cold drink that was very warm. Will never order from taco bell again and will make my own which will look and taste better.

Mixed feelings about Taco Bell unfortunately If you actually go in & order in person, then there are no issues at all Food is decent & very cheap with good portion sizes - it's definitely filling if you order a few different items from the menu However, I have ordered Taco Bell through apps like Deliveroo/Uber Eats quite a few times & I'm afraid to say that more often than not, it's been very disappointing I know these things maybe can't be helped & I honestly don't really know how it works with delivery - but more often than not the food comes completely cold, mangled to the point where you physically have to reconstruct your food yourself at home, or half your order is straight up missing or incorrect The last time I ordered, my entire order was stone cold (not even luke warm) and the taco shells were so stale, it was quite literally like biting into a McCoy's thick-cut crisp or something, when they were supposed to be soft tacos! The food is alright if you do go in to the restaurant, you definitely get your money's worth but I definitely wouldn't recommend ordering very often!

Food is okay. It is what it is, it could be nicer, lots of lettuce filler to bulk it all out, but the flavours are okay, unlimited drinks mean we ( the children) can try new things and if they don't like something we are not stuck with it.

I tried everything as didn't really know what I was ordering. Everything was greasy and unappetising. I don't say it as a criticism because I think it's exactly what they intend on selling. Maybe it's not to my taste. Fries were nice, everything else including the curros (?) went into the bin after a bite. Grab it whilst you can though. I came because the Macdonald's next door was rammed and this place was empty. I've noticed it's empty almost always and there is now a Popeye's chicken over the road.

Delicious food, cooked beautifully. Arrived quickly, hardly any waiting time.

Excellent service from the entire team on Friday 19th May. We mostly delt with Jin, who was very helpful and polite, especially as they were having some technical issues with their system at the time.

Amazing food, if you want yummy food this is the place to go, their chips are just perfect and great customer service today from Jin. He gave us 100% perfect customer service and care, 100% will be coming back to have some more yummy food, thank you.

The food as usual was good and kept warm on my walk back so can't complain there. However I was waiting a little while but I removed things from my burrito so I imagine that's why. The staff were loud when saying the numbers and were also polite. The tables looked a bit sticky though so could maybe use a staff member to go wipe down the tables every so often.

Food from Taco Bell is so tasty! I like the quesdillas & the chips are so well seasoned that you don't need any additional condiments & sauces. I just wish that there were more Taco Bells around, particularly at motorway service stations 😊😊😊😊😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Georgina gave me the most incredible service this evening, unfortunately this branch doesn’t serve halal chicken of which she told me, and she was so kind and genuine! Genuinely a credit to the team, she deserves a raise!

Taco bell is my favourite resturant to buy food they are quality i love everything they cook and everytime i get paid i treat myself to a meal from them there amazing and to be honest i would recommend this to everyone to buy takeaway here they are awesome 🙂 xxxx

For £7.50, mains, pudding and a drink. I for one am not complaining. Staff were friendly and helpful. Impressed and will visit again.

Food is amazing. However due to a lot of deliveries, not too many staff and bad kitchen layout, the food takes an incredibly long time to be made. Only bad thing about it is the wait for food.

First time having taco Bell in over a year and the food was absolutely horrendous the mince was greasy and had no flavour there wasn't a lot of it in any of the items received. The chips have no flavour liked they used to and the churros were far too greasy. Really disappointing from how it used to be. The guy serving was great

It was busy, the drinks dispenser didn't work, and the portions were much smaller that the pictures. A bit disappointing, but the flavours and food was great. It was not overly priced but the pictures on the menu board didn't look anything like the portions we received. The restaurant wasn't clean, plenty of staff serving that day. We had to ask to have the table cleaned.

On are visit to Plymouth we had good at this store it was fresh and tasty helpful staff especially Bailey will definitely visit again

Go there for the food, they do it well and it's consistent.

The area is cramped and people will often brush past as they are moving. The lines queue past seating so in busy times you will often have someone standing behind you whilst eating. Food was a bit bland but service was great

Good place for a snack while in town. It was untidy with the chairs all over, I counted 11 members of staff and not one of them seem to be out tidying up. Other than that staff were friendly with quick service.

Ordered a meal that I have been waiting for, for hours. It turns up and half of the food wasn't in the bag. Moving forward, we contacted the store, and they were useless. When asking where the food was, they responded as if it was our fault. I would not recommend ordering from here or visiting, for fast food it isn't very fast. My chips are cold. They gave me sauce for churros, but when inspecting the bag, there was no churros.

I love Mexican and Tex Mex. Alas, this was neither. Having opted for the crunchy tacos I salivated waiting to receive my order. Unfortunately nothing but disappointed followed. I was impressed however that you could get crispy tacos as thin as a piece of super saver thin sliced bread it takes alot of skill to make a taco shell that thin. The classic beef chilli feeling was quite frankly dreadful. My palate found it hard to pick up even a hint of chilli, I did however pick up the strong greasey taste, of oil. I was so disappointed having watched so many American films and programmes waxing lyrical about taco Bell .I was so very eager to try this good old American institution but now wish I hadn't shattered my dream which was so much more tasty than the reality. Maybe I just caught them on an off day but unfortunately I won't be going back to find out.

Nice food could of been a little faster but overall happy

Rubbish. My fiancée asked for one portion of fries to be unseasoned. Because of this request our two quesadilla meals took 1/2 hour. I asked for a partial refund and was offered extra fries (the same fries that were holding up our meal). When it arrived it wasn't all that and a bag of (small) chips. They couldn't cope and it showed. If the delay had been genuinely acknowledged then I could have gone some way to accepting their apology but to place the blame on my fiancée's request for unseasoned fries was outrageous.

This place isn't going to stay popular for long if it carries on the way it is. I stopped by for a "quick" lunch. I ordered one cheese quesadilla. It became clear that the staff were struggling to keep up with the orders that were coming in. The screen showed numbers piling up in the "preparing" section and sporadically on the "ready" section. Everyone was fed up - the customers, the Deliveroo staff and the kitchen staff. It took 32 minutes to get my single quesadilla. The infrastructure isn't there to accommodate both in-house ordering and Deliveroo orders. If you want Taco Bell I'd advise you to only bother if you're not in any rush.

The food here is okay but the wait time was long. I do think as well that the vegetarian options could be clearer on the menu.

I visited Plymouths Taco Bell for the second time yesterday and again I left happy. My partner had never tried it so I was very excited to show him and for him to experience it’s wonderful-ness. I ordered the crunch wrap supreme (obviously the best thing on the menu) and my partner had the crispy chicken burrito. Both meals were lovely and we left very happy. Staff welcoming as always. The only negative thing I have to say about this trip was that all of the self ordering systems were down (an introverts hell) and the drinks machine had issues/ broken ice dispenser but other than that I can’t complain. Can’t wait to come back for a third time.

20 mins to make a burrito is it really that hard

Arrived at Plymouth branch @ 1pm and placed order via screens, loads if queueing and waiting. Staff only interested in getting deliveroo orders done in time.

Slow service food was cold and we was sat in only go in with my grandson as he likes it

So me and my girlfriend went to check it out after a year of putting it off. I ordered a "crunchywrap supreme" as a meal, the picture looked sizable (enough to count as an actual meal) and the price seemed fare. We received our food after a short wait and went to the car to chow down before carrying on with our day.. Upon opening the bag we found our main orders (the crunchy thing and a crispy chicken wrap) wedged down the sides of the bag beside the oversized (half empty) boxes of fries.. dug them out to find that my "crunchywrap supreme" was a flat, squashed mess.. I just thought "screw it, it'll still taste the same" began unwrapping the messy packet to find that the crunchywrap "supreme" was mostly empty.. the picture described a 10mm wedge of sausey meat with another 10mm of veg, evenly spread throughout and a chuncky wrap costing around £7.. but what I got was a toasted hexagon shaped wrap with a slight 2mm buttering of the (what i can only descrive as blended) meat on one side and 3 tiny oddly shaped chuncks of green veg in the middle (no red veg of any kind) squashed into this wrap with a strange cream coloured liquid dribbling out after the first bite.. this thing was about 6mm think and looked like the guy making it had run out of ingredients and then stepped on it.. I know that many other fast food places don't serve food that looks like the pictures, but you normally at least get the food you ordered, but looking a little messy. Upon opening the fries, they were both half empty and had clearly been cooked a few hours before we arrived, they were slightly undercooked, chewy and begining to become stale after hours in the hot plate while still slightly raw.. AVOID this place unless you enjoy being let down and wasting your money. Just go and get a burger from next door, that's what we did.. our food went in the bin outside the building.

ordered a crunch wrap supreme, beefy nacho baby burrito and churros with dip. crunch wrap was fine, beef burrito was unbelievably salty and made me genuinely think a heart attack was coming, churros were fine but they forgot my dip. staff were very polite though

For what it was and the bad reviews I had received I must say the food was actually quite enjoyable! Reasonably priced. Was our first time tonight and will definitely be going back for more. Only let down for us was the drink machine Despenser wasn't chilled so had warm pepsi max. Would of been a 5* if the drinks were chilled. Keep up the good work Taco Bell 🙂

Can't complain, food arrived fast despite faulty self-checkout machines not working staff worked super hard to make sure we don't wait too long. Restaurant is clean, some visitors leave it in state but you see staff constantly wiping the tables, sweeping the floor etc. I received what I've ordered, the only minus wad no ice in the machine.

Waited almost half an hour for a burrito, that I didn’t even amend. Whilst waiting the staff seemed disheartened and bored - as though they would rather be anywhere else. When paying my ticket never printed so the man at the front had no clue whether it was genuinely my order I was taking it whether I was stealing someone else’s. All in all this place was not like it was when it first opened and needs to train the staff to be faster and happier. My burrito was also cold and had none of what I ordered in it

Would love to tell to tell how good the food was, my daughter had experienced it at another store the week before and had to share. Before ordering any food,it the venue is so hot it was unbearable we left for the fast food nextdoor, the air conditioned McDonald’s Next-door, we weren’t the only people that went next door.

I ordered here for me and my boyfriend, the loaded fries turned up freezing cold, and also paid for two portions of churros and caramel sauce, the caramel sauce for both didn't turn up! I'm Dissapointed as most of the reviews are good reviews! This is the second problem I have had with them.I wont be ordering here again
