Booked a table for date night with my partner for this Saturday on 28th Jan and I received this text today. RIDICULOUS!!!

sushmi was the best service!! she took good care of us and made sure our food was made with care! 5 stars for everything !! scenery, service , atmosphere and more !

This was the BEST restaurant I’ve been to 2 million percent and I’ve been to many, even abroad ! Overall 1010 too good to not write a review and I’ve only ever written 4 reviews on Google. It’s quite a small restaurant but cute and intimate . You can still come as a big group i saw a couple of people in big groups. I came with my partner and 2 year old. The armonstphere was sophisticated and very friendly, I’m not accustomed to Lewisham but it was a lovey restaurant and the people were very nice , playing with my little one , smiles whenever I looked round. So for the menu, Wow that starter boa buns with oxtail was incredibly tasty. Also the chips were thin and hot and perfect and the garlic bread was nice and soft and crispy on the edges! It was a little bit on the oily side, but I really couldn’t ask for a better place. Then the sea food platter was so saucy and juicy I loved it! My partner had the jollof rice which was grainy so cooked to perfection not sticky thank God and al the meat was well seasoned , the sides of broccoli? YES! definitely get the broccoli , the seasoning wasn’t too much but made it a SWEET 1NE! If I’m lying, let the ocean and seas start dyin Also I found this place through tik tok, if you go late there is parking on the same road round the corner!

Booked in a months advance for a 21st birthday meal…. We was asked to wait 20 mins outside in the cold, no sense of urgency what’s so ever, we felt it was a laughing matter to the staff. Once seated the electrics went before even being served a drink! After sitting in the dark we decided to leave, our first and last time here. Highly disappointed.

Terrible experience and I didn’t even get to taste the food. Not even 7pm and the kitchen is closed. Info not provided correctly on Instagram, massively dissapointed but I suppose I couldn’t expect more in terms of great customer service in Lewisham🫤

Mean with prawns only got 3=£1 per prawn. Burnt salmon also in rasta pasta. Disappointed this time. Threw away the salmon could not take the burnt taste.

Trust me the food here was nice, had a great time and Nuff thanks to Courtney and Cas looked after us well.

Highly highly recommend this restaurant!!! The food was so tasty and the service was friendly. We had the lobster with Jollof, 1/4 jerk chicken mac n cheese with jollof, chicken wings with jollof and the shrimp boil bag - everything was perfect! Michael (front of house) was very hospitable. He provided an A1 service. Please do yourself a favour and eat here

SWEET staff members are very polite, nice, friendly, very respectful. I just think everyone loves this place for its well organisation and fantastic customer service and staff members. Well Done. God bless you

Hands down the best jerk chicken and lamb chops I ever had

Visited this place this week after a long time seeing it on social media. The first time I was going to go, I wasn’t too sure if it was a gym or a restaurant. We did stop over and I grabbed the jerk chicken and jellof rice. I called 10 minutes before arriving and placed my order, unfortunately I still had to wait another 15 minutes once arrived even though he said it’ll be ready on time. I took the food away and had it in my car. The rice was nice and fluffy and had authentic seasoning which was good. The chicken however was horrific, it tasted old, reheated and did not taste like jerk chicken. I couldn’t finish it, the inside of the chicken and bone were black and just had a funky taste. The steamed veg was good and complimented with the food well. The atmosphere was weird, an old school gym right beside where you’re ordering your food. It felt unclean as a whole. Overall, definitely won’t recommend this place however the new Lewisham branch looks good. Won’t visit again due to the lack of service and quality but could see why people would go here due to marketing. 4/10

I totally loved the food . It was an immersive experience. The staff were super Friendly especially their front staff .I think his name was “Jay “ . Paid close attention to detail and kept coming to check up on us . The Sea food boil with the lobster and crab legs are to die for . We also got a free drink and mini meal for our infant . I’d definitely be coming back . One thing tho , it was really hard to find but was worth the search . It felt like a treasure hunt lool

Absolute rubbish service. Placed an order on uber eats - 30 mins later when food was supposed to be delivered I had to change my order as the restaurant was out of the food I ordered. 20 mins after they cancelled my entire order after waiting nearly an hour. Rubbish place and no one picks up the phone. Do not order from here

Came here for the second time with my brother today and didn’t disappoint at all We got the seafood boil and the Rasta pasta 10/10 The seasoning 10/10 The sauce 10/10 The food cooked to perfection 10/10 I’d like to give Michael a thank you for his service I would highly recommend this place to anyone that’s in the area or outside of the area as it would not disappoint you Thank you !

This pasta morning afternoon and night

I recently dined at 'Sweet One' and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the initial impression was promising with an appealing aroma, the overall quality of the dishes fell short. The prawn was a highlight, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. However, the positive note ended there. The pasta was undercooked, suggesting a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen. It left an unsavory impression as if it had been sitting out for too long. The lamb, regrettably, was of subpar quality and left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. To add to the disappointment, the chicken was overcooked and hard, making it difficult to enjoy. Overall, I didn't derive the pleasure and satisfaction I anticipated from my meal. In conclusion, 'Sweet One' has potential, but there are significant areas for improvement. Addressing the issues with pasta and ensuring better quality ingredients, especially with regards to the lamb, would greatly enhance the dining experience. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively and strives to provide a more enjoyable experience for its patrons in the future.

Have had deliveries from here many times. Today we were out locally so decided to stop by. The guy at the counter, I’m sure is a nice person but my goodness, he has no clue what you’re saying or what he should be so goes and gets what I can only presume is the chef who looked like she’d just rolled out of bed and left any care or manners she had under the pillow. Tried to charge me £8 to dine in and their in store menu shows much higher prices than their online menu. I always had so much hope for this place, even with all that nonsense, and then I had to pick scales of my salmon! Fml. We just can’t have nothing nice can we 🤦🏾‍♀️

Amazing food that was super tasty!! And the service from Cass was amazing! After walking in we wanted to order everything and not sure where to start. But Cass was super helpful and gave his recommendations and wow!! That combo meal and mac and cheese was GOOD GOOD! Got the loyalty card and it will be my regular from now. We will be back soon Cass!

I thought it’s been a while since ordering so let’s hope this experience is better than the last. WRONG Every order delivered from you guys is ALWAYS LATE!! And the same excuse every time “we are busy”, “we only have one driver”. And unfortunately this will never change so don’t bother place a deliver with them if you are hungry. You’re looking at 1hour 30mins minimum wait time! Also, if I pay +£2.50 more for a large, it would be nice if the portion size resembled the price difference instead of just a bigger container.

I must say, Michael was absolutely exceptional. The food was exceptional.

Came here because we were at the water park down the road and needed somewhere to eat. The restaurant there is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Sweet 1ne had the highest ratings in the area, for good reason. Very tasty food, and very friendly staff. Even the gym guy was very friendly (it's inside the gym). Highly recommend!

I had dinner here with a friend over a week ago and to be honest we both are still talking about it today. The food was impeccable I had the lobster tail, Jollof rice with the Mac and cheese and every flavour was impeccably paired! To top it off my friends shrimp rasta pasta was delicious (she shared with me which she doesn’t usually lol) . To compliment our dishes we had a refreshing tropical punch drink which was so fruity is was unreal. Overall 10/10 experience from the staff to the food and I will definitely be back… did I mention we travelled from enfield?!

This has to be HANDS DOWN the WORST food establishment i've ever had the displeasure of visiting. Where do I even start? - The place is literally in between a gym so you have sweaty people passing through constantly. - The tables were dirty and greasy - We ate in and we were served food in CONTAINERS... seriously? - The food itself was genuinly disgusting. We initially came in to try the seafood boil we saw on instagram, but thought otherwise after seeing the setup and decided to go for the safer options (AND I'M GLAD WE DID). I'd like to believe I'm a pretty fair critique when it comes to food, but this place is just terrible. If you're reading this, save yourself the trip and find another place. DO NOT be fooled by the fake reviews and the visually appealing food you see on their instagram page.

I ordered the 1/4 jerk chicken with jollof rice. The portion size was huge, and food was delicious it didn’t disappoint. Hosted a little outdoor gathering with family in their outdoor seating area. Staff were very kind, accommodating and served food and drink quickly considering there were 15 of us. Would definitely go back

This would be my last time ordering from them. I’ve always enjoyed the Rasta pasta before, lately it’s not tasty anymore as it was before the pasta sauce taste like water. It’s a total waste. I’m very disappointed in wasting so much money for such.

Got this takeaway, the food was really nice, the bbq chops were amazing, the sauce on it was delicious, the prawns were great too, pasta was good and so was the jerk chicken. Only let down was the Mac n cheese portion was a bit small and the lamb chops aren’t lamb they’re mutton.

Sweet1ne is one of the best restaurants in London. There is no place around East London that is doing what they’re doing, in terms of flavours and combos. The food is super fresh and portion sizes are bang on. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. 10/10 if I could on Google. Would highly recommend and will definitely be a long time customer now.

I returned after having an epic bagel a while back.......come on guys I really didn't want to give you 2 stars, but the jerk bagels had me wondering if the chicken got up and made a run for it!!! Come on guys I've had chicken fillet burgers bigger then what you gave us. What happened! 3 jerk bagels, all with few tiny nuggets of chicken and loaded with BBQ sauce. Utterly disappointed!

All the seafood options were delicious. Wouldn’t recommend the oxtail, far too fatty & hardly any meat. Very small but ideal for a quick bite to eat. The staff member was very attentive and friendly.

Just beware of parking. The area is controlled so you need to insert your plate number in the system if you park onsite else you would incur a parking fine. That said the food is fantastic and the service is good. It's personalised and I felt at ease. I recommend 👌🏽 I have recommended what I trued but I'll be going back for their seafood platter at some point.
