Last time we used here it was very good. This time we were very disappointed. Nan bread was really hard and the chicken was very dry and chewy.

Quick service and fantastic food !

Restaurant was busy, we arrived early, 17.30, without a booking, there were no free tables, however, the senior staff accommodated us by having us sitting in the rear section of the restaurant. We sat with carry out drivers. Made the atmosphere a bit better, we did not mind sitting alone as we were going to be alone with a carry out if there were no tables. Staff were attentive, apologetic that they had temporarily forgotten us between courses. Resolved of course when our main meals were ready. We had not noticed any delay happily chatting through our popadoms and spiced onions. Main meals were well presented and taste was as expected. My first ever garlic nan sampled was tasty but I thought was not enhancing the curry. Plain nan next time. Our quick two courses over we paid the bill, complimented the staff on their service and thanked the staff for helping us out with a table. Meal was tasty and as expected Gluten free without worrying. It’s certainly a restaurant we will revisit again. The restaurant on leaving was full as well as a couple of visitors waiting for carry out orders. I would certainly recommend booking if intending to visit at the weekend. Our same day online booking attempt around 17.15 failed. I suppose as too close to the actual time. Turned out our booking was not needed as we were accommodated by quick thinking staff.

This was my first time eating here with family due after recommendation from a friend. We shared starters and selected different main dishes. Service was good, reasonably priced and we'll definitely go again.

Order was delicious as usual. However the garam masala was much spicier than usual. Also had many green chillies in it. Usual there isnt that much, or not at all in previous times. Still good though. Always my go to restaurant for a curry.

Sadly was missing the Chicken Chaat but instead had what was plain bits of lamb tikka. Also no pakora sauce with the veg pakora which was a little disappointing. The food we did get was tasty.

Ordered vegetable pakora and a chicken curry , pakora was extremely dry, even with sauce it was awful , gutted as it was large portion so went in bin, curry was ok

Chips not delivered, phoned twice was hung up on once then had to explain to the same person I just phoned back everything I just told her 5 mins before, was told they would be sent back out but would take a hour and nothing was delivered was told busy night, well not to busy to take your order or money out your account, won’t be ordering again shambles 👎

Ordered two large pakoras, sent one small tub of pakora sauce that was half full. Popadoms crushed, again less than a half portion of spiced onions. The patia and chasni both had a metallic taste and the South Indian garlic chicken very salty. Poor

Ordered mixed pakora. It arrived stone cold and hard, certainly not fresh! Tasted like reheated food gone cold! Not fit for consumption, put in bin. A harsh review I know, but deserved. A cheek charge for this terrible food!

According to the just eat app, orders over £25 would receive free vegetable pakora. it was not included when the order was delivered although the pakora sauce was. Not Good enough.

Rice was cold as though just out fridge chasni cold missing pakora was my birthday meal they came back with pakora wanted old meal back for new meal my friend had cleared n washed plates as was told they would send new food ….tried to give back Nan bread and poppadoms .Myself and my family have used restaurant from last premises .Will never use again .

Took over two hours to arrive and only after I called the restaurant. The food is nice but not worth the wait of 2 hours .

As usual. Delicious. Arrived hot. Quick delivery. My usual is lamb garam masala and most recently the special poori. Both fantastic. Also got chicken tikka starter and a chick pokara. All lovely

My food arrived extremely quick. From ordering until arrival it was 20 mins. Food was so delicious. I always get the lamb garam masala and as usual it didn't disappoint. Got the special poori for the first time. It was sooo good!

Normally very good, but on two occasions now the chicken for some reason tastes like fish, we ordered a chicken curry and chicken pakora which both tasted like fish? I don’t know if it’s a cross contamination issue, normally always order from here but will give it a miss next time.

the quality of the curries were not great. quite oily and same base evidently used for teo different curries. vegetable panoramic was not fresh, it was soggy as if reheated in a microwave. we usually order from himalaya paisley road west but decided to try here. we won't order again and will stick with himalayas (rail gaddie)

First time here with my husband and mother in law, honestly cannot fault anything at all, food was amazing, staff lovely and friendly, service top notch, would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Absolutely delicious !! Lamb chops were excellent as was my lamb bhuna my partner had the same view on her lamb Korma. The chicken pakora was lovely, nan breads were great too.

Found this restaurant at a night out that one of the guys had booked. And let me tell you what a great surprise I had and have had in the numerous times I have been back, food is superb and can't see past this place. We travel over from johnstone at least once a week highly recommend 👌

This restaurant is gorgeous. As a coeliac suffer, can't eat wheat, gluten and dairy, the choices amazing, will definitely be returning

Excellent food and portion sizes and the customer service was impeccable!

Food was good although they did make my wife’s chicken korma with chicken tikka. Main gripe was having to wait nearly 2 hours for it to be delivered and being hung up on when phoning to enquire on its whereabouts.

Order took over 2 hours to arrive from order. No update on status as when it was due for delivery and didn’t arrive at the latest delivery I had to call the restaurant to chase up my order . My order was to leave then at that point then took another 30 mins to arrive . Food arrived and is not very hot

First time trying here and best curries we have probably ever had, truly superb!!

First time eating here since Swagath took over, but wow the chicken tikka currys me and the mrs had were top tier quality, garlic naan the was soaked with garlic and full of flavour. Place was also busy and that was at 5pm so knew it was a good sign. Will definitly be back. Cheers 🙌

Currys are gorgeous. Staff are helpful. Made me a paneer poori that wasn't on the menu. Which was lovely. Love their paneer tikka with a spicy sauce. mmnmnn. Only wish is their veg pakoras to have a separate fryer than the chicken so point/ star off.

First time customer. Wow. excellent food. had the chilli Chicken and fish pakora for starters, lovely. chilli Chicken had a lovely heat. followed by south Indian garlic chilli lamb,fab. lamb was so tender. just the right amount of heat. perfect. will be back.

Really delicious food, and the staff are so helpful. We were late collecting our food but they were great and kept it lovely and warm and fresh. The fish pakora is particularly good, and I was able to have that and the chicken pakora prepared gluten free. The staff were so helpful with my dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Swagath, an Indian restaurant that left a lasting impression on me and my family. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant, inviting atmosphere. The food at Swagath was truly exceptional. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavours and perfectly balanced spices. We started with the veg samosas and salmon tikka, both of which were delicious and set the tone for the rest of our meal. For the main course, we ordered a variety of dishes to share, including mixed grill, and a couple of vegetarian options like jackfruit curry, palak paneer and paneer Makhani. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with tender meats and fresh vegetables. Jackfruit curry, a vegan curry, stood out as it was exceptionally good and full of flavours. The naan bread was warm and fluffy, perfect for scooping up the rich, flavourful sauces. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, our dining experience at Swagath was fantastic. The food was some of the best Indian cuisine we've ever had, and the excellent service made it even better. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding meal.

Ordered at 6pm and waited. Was notified by Just Eat the food was on the way. Asked for an update because the food hadn't arrived and was given an update that food was on the way and would arrive at 7.50pm. Called at 8pm and was told the food hadn't left the restaurant yet and would need to wait for a driver to become available. Ended up cancelling the order.

I visited this restaurant yesterday and ordered a North Indian thali, which had a great quantity. The taste was amazing, serviceable staff and very Indian atmosphere 👌. I would recommend this place for Indian food, drinks and great hospitality by its staff.

My meal was delivered earlier than expected. Piping hot curry. Was so delicious. Got the lamb garam masala, chicken tikka start and poppadoms. Everything was delicious and great quality. Even poppadoms were fresh and crispy.

always fantastic quality with swagath, I wouldn't order from anywhere else. i usually order curry and starters but decided to try something different- i ordered the chicken tikka nan kebab which was a massive portion, with salad and sauce and it was very tasty!

Best tikka i have had for a long time. We all enjoyed our food. Our 9 year old is so fussy. But big thums up from her. Staff so friendly. And a couple of chilled bottles of cobra top it off. Definitely be back.

A great place for indian food in Glasgow. Food that tastes indian for a change unlike the other restaurants in Glasgow. Very reasonably priced, great staff and prompt service. Apart from the chicken and paneer items, we tried the jackfruit curry first time outside india and it was excellent. Not seen this dish in any restaurant in Glasgow. Special mention for the butter nan. The quality if the nan was excellent. Better than any Glasgow restaurant.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Got a order a few weeks ago and tye currys were sour and wrong. They gave us a £30 credit to replace nearly a £50 order. We went back tonight. Waited 40 mins in the resteraunt for my food to get home to see they gor my order wrong yet again. Offered me a credit for rice because I couldn't drive all the way back to get it. Then proceeded to tell me thag I was the one that ordered wrong. To top it of on the way put we save 8-10 rats crawling about the bins. Will 100% never be returning. Rude horrendous customer service and I'd say the food was crap but I didn't get to try the currys I wanted becasue they can't get the food right

Great Indian restaurant. Had takeaway and dined in both times was really good. Looking forward to visiting again.

We had a meal with family and the service and food was excellent. When we ordered a delivery the chicken pikora was a disappointment once again as this is the second time we have had this in our delivery. Won't be ordering this again but the curries are very good.

I won't be ordering from this restaurant again. Both the veg and mushroom pakoras had clearly been reheated and the coating was absolutely awful.

I have just had a lovely takeaway from here my only complaint is there was not enough spiced onions for the 2 poppadoms I still have one a and half poppadoms left and it was the smallest tub of onions I have ever seen

The food arrived about 35 minutes after receiving the alert that driver was nearby. Food was cold on arrival and required reheating. Never had to do this before with Swagath delivery. Hopefully just a one-off and driver was apologetic but it was disappointing to have cold meal delivered.
