Coco was super nice , food super nice tempura absolutely outstanding , one of the best , being eating away since I’m 16 so … A must go in the neighbour worth the travel

Such a lovely restaurant. The food is priced fairly the service was lovely. Coco was really sweet, friendly and informative. The food was very tasty, the deep fried squid was good and the set 3 sushi was delicious along with the beef ramen. The restaurant had an authentic feel which was lovely. This place really is a hidden gem in Turnpike Lane. 100% recommend!

I live near by so I finally decided to give it a try, we got sat down and served by a lovely lady 10/10 service, we tried the meal for 2 which was a lot of food for a very reasonable price, the gyudon beef was so tender and flavoursome, the katsu curry had such homely flavour, the deep fried squid was superb (I recommend having it with the teriyaki sauce and Japanese mayo for the best flavour pairing), the chefs special sushi of that day was great too! Overall the portions were big and everything was flavoursome and fresh, highly recommend this hidden gem.

Excellent food. I had Beef Ramen Bowl and it was amazing. The broth so sweet and the beef so tender. The eggs incredibly well marinated. Every mouthful delicious.

Ordered from. Just Eat. No food arrived. Called the restaurant, they take no responsibility for the failed delivery, apparently the rider took it somewhere else, so £50 of food are gone, enjoyed by a stranger. Restaurant does not care at all. Good customer service would be to deliver food free of charge and then they will get reimbursed but not a chance. No one takes responsibility, so if you want to waste money and food, order from Sushimo.

Not very welcoming! We felt like rushed, as they really wanted us to eat, drink and out in 30 min. It’s a shame as I the previous time I enjoyed having dinner at this place. But different members of staff.

My friends and I came here for the first time and it didn't disappoint at all! Since we stepped in the restaurant we felt very welcome by the waitress (very friendly). The environment, how cozy the restaurant is even though next to a busy station. The food was delivered with an excellent quality and perfect time. We definitely recommend this place! 😄

Excellent food! A real hidden gem. The food was so tasty and flavourful. The portions are also huge! I’d highly recommend the salmon Bento Box, good value for money and offering a lot of variety. Staff are also very friendly and welcoming, I would eat here again.

Amazing Japanese restaurant. We went with kids (aged 8 & 10) for sushi. Really good value, high quality food. The servers were lovely and we had a really nice relaxed family meal. As well as sushi and sashimi we ordered some tempura, gyoza and dessert. The mochis even arrived at the perfect ready to eat temperature. Highly recommend!

Apparently I'm the only one who thinks it's chicken katsu, all the restaurant employees think it's tuna. I wouldn't complain if it weren't for the fact that, according to the staff, I don't know what tuna looks like. Because you have answered my review I will add some more thoughts about the order. I did call that’ true and you wanted me to travel for half an hour one way just to prove you IT IS CHICKEN. I did call you again and said I left review and pictures and I asked you to call me back when you see it. I would love to see from when you making spicy tuna in tempura??

Went for some food yesterday with my family, We normally go into central London for sushi but thought we’d give a more local place a try. They were very welcoming from as soon as we walked in, we had our 1 year old with us who didn’t want to sit still, when food arrived they tried to distract her so we could eat, which was really nice of them. Service was great, food was good and we didn’t have to wait long for it to come out. I don’t ever give reviews but felt it was well deserved. Definitely will be coming back.

It was my first time in a sushi restaurant, The waitress was very friendly and helped recommend what to eat. The ramen dish was delicious, and I'd recommend people to eat here without hesitation. Some of the best customer service I've ever had well eatting out 5/5.

I realy do like this restraunt, I feel aa if the food is pretty good, as well as has a nice flavouring especially when it comes to teriyaki as well as tempura (may favourite) I would say that to most it could be considered flavourless, which I can understand though I feel as if that it does a good job. When i went the place was not overly crowded, as well as the staff were very kind to me. ALSO THE RESTAURANT IS ACTUALLY NO MATTER WHERE YOU SIT, SO IF YOU PUT OFF BY THE COLD DONT WORRY!!!

I ordered an online delivery from here once and was delighted with it. When I was passing by the area, me and my brother decided to check it out in person and I was very satisfied with the experience. The waitress who served us was very warm, kind, and welcoming. It was very thoughtful of her to ask us about any dietary restrictions. The place is quite small but the atmosphere is very cozy. The food did not disappoint either! We ordered sushi, takoyaki, fried chicken, and drinks. The menu is clear with a good amount of options to choose from at a good price point. The place is also suitable for vegetarians and families. The entire service is 5/5 and I will definitely be going here on multiple occasions in the future.

We have eaten well. It was very good but a little star less because in my salad there were a lot of omissions (cherry tomatoes and corn) and the chicken didn't have much flavor and was quite fatty (lots of skin)

We had a great time!!! The staff was lovable and was trying their best to cheer up my 3year old niece, who had a different opinion from us who wanted to eat. They offered her lollipop, gave her a choice of two different plates for the soya sauce and spoke to her warmly. I really loved that and appreciated. In general, it was great food and a warm atmosphere.

I really love Sushimo. It was the first place we ate when we moved to Wood Green and we've been many times since. Their pork ramen is superb, and I enjoy it every time I go. The service is great and the atmosphere friendly.

Went in for takeaway, a lady was very welcoming. I am vegan and lady was very thoughtful and didn’t put the cucumber makis with the fish in our takeaway box. Sushi tasted fresh and was given a lot of soy sauce to take away. Lovely place.

Amazing place, the Japanese esthetics give the whole restaurant a good look. The food was 9/10, was great but lacked a bit of extra flavour. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And the price per portion was very good, definitely coming back.

Delicious food served with extra love and care. The ladies definitely make you feel at home. We had the Bento box of Salmon n Mackerel, sushi and hot noodles soup. Highly recommended and definitely going there again to try more.

I hated Sushi, which I ate with love, thanks to you. A business with such bad staff. I saw it for the first time in London in this shop I went to, all of them are rude and disrespectful, from the service person to the chef who prepares the food ‼ ️ I am in awe, I wonder if the employer called you a staff full of hatred and grudge. As someone who has been working in the food delivery industry in London for 4 years, I condemn you for your rudeness and cruelty. Even though there were customers inside, you were very rude. I saw that the chef did not prepare food with pleasure. I will never buy or eat from this establishment again. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it either terrible staff terrible everything -minus 10 out of 10 (1⭐shame on the star)

Brilliant service, food was delicious and priced reasonably well, nice ambience and the lady who served us made us feel at home! I’m also vegan so the menu worked well for me.

We had a meal with my Bruce and her son and my 3 kids! Firstly the decor is simple but lovely like being in an anime restaurant! The food was 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽, the price was 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼, my kids and the adult gave this a 10/10!!! Better quality than Yo! We had tons of starters, the food is all halal except the ramens n gyoza. The chef has worked in a renowned Japanese restaurant Nobu! The cutleries n crockeries are super authentic! I’m going to end up there now every other weekend! I live in herts but come down every other week and this is the spot! The staff are so friendly you can’t make this up!

Just went for lunch here for the first time - with family, all foodies, and we were all very impressed we all loved the delicious food and the friendly service just made the whole experience even better. The food, especially the Crispy Rolls, Dragon Rolls, Chicken teriyaki, Spicy Geso Kara and Nasu Dengaku were excellent - very fresh and tasted great!!! The Bento and Ramen were absolutely delicious and very, very generous and I was very pleasantly surprised by just how cheap the bill was, especially considering just how much food we had ordered. A wonderfully unassuming local restaurant serving great food at truly remarkable prices. We are definitely coming back 👍👍👍

I ordered in the shop to take away. A couple of rolls, salmon - avocado and spicy tuna. I'm not even complaining for the portions size but it's the first time in my life I was served fish gone off in a sushi roll. I had to throw the tuna away. The fatty avocado pieces were poor quality as well. Disappointed and disgusted.

Wonderful neighborhood spot for delicious sushi, freshly prepared with attention and at a great value for money. The family deal for two is really well priced, with lots of options and great variety for under £15 per person. Mochi was a great ending to a delicious meal. Service was also very good. Highly recommend!

I came in perhaps 30 minutes before closing, the staff were very polite, no feeling of being rushed or hurried, the atmosphere was very relaxed. The chairs and tables were clean along with the furniture; effort was put in for the aesthetic to be clean from what I saw. I had the pork Ramen, it's broth was quite rich, not the richest but considering the price it is definitely good value for money, if you're looking for a quiet meal on your way home and you live locally I definitely recommend coming to Sushimo.

Always been a positive experience whenever I've been there

The only proper sushi restaurant in this neighbourhood, and by far the best. Many more options than just regular salmon or tuna nigiri - including Aburi Sake Toro (seared fatty salmon: insanely tender), Hokkigai (surf clam), Hamachi (yellowtail), alongside octopus, eel, mackerel etc. Nigiris are large and the fish well portioned to wrap over & round the rice. Prices also very competitive, especially when ordered direct: agadashi tofu just £2.50, and nigiri mostly £3 - 3.50 for two. I order at least monthly, and it's always consistently high quality, no fridge-cold rice here. Recommended.

Beautiful little restaurant near turnpike Lane station. The food was exceptional and the staff very friendly and helpful. My family and I will definitely be dining here again in the near future.

1. Amazing food - the katsu curry and sushimo roll were super tasty! The miso soup and takoyaki are excellent as well. 2. Excellent customer service - We had placed a late order via uber eats shortly before the store closed as we came home late from the airport - this was complicated by bad weather conditions and Uber Eats struggled to find a driver to deliver the food so delivery kept getting delayed. However, despite being beyond opening hours, the restaurant reassured us they will deliver the food even if they are closed when I called them - which they did! The driver was very nice and professional as well. Overall can highly recommend this restaurant! It’s my third time ordering from them.

Sadly some pieces of sashimi still frozen with ice inside, could understand in busy hours it might be happened. Service was fine & efficiently.

My experience from start to finish was great. Enjoyable surroundings, good service with attentive servers, attention to needs around allergies and ability to use chop sticks without being made to feel idiotic and not being rushed. The presentation of the food was also good and portion sizes big, but that too wasn't a problem as I was rescued with a bento box for later, lol. Taste was excellent. I had the spicy deep fried squid tentacles and curried beef. Thanks for the fine service and meal, well done.

The beef gyu don was tender, exactly the right consistency and very generous. We also love this place for its fresh sushi, wakame salad and miso soup.

We order from shushimo for few years. We are always happy with our order. Unfortunately, this time we are disappointed. The amount of wasabi we got was really small and not enough for all of the sushi we order.

This place is a little gem. I ordered directly on their website and the delivery fee was a lot less than deliveroo and Justeat, bonus is I am guessing the resturant gets to keep more of the money which can only be good in supporting small local businesses. The food arrived piping hot and was excellent value for money. I shall be ordering again soon.

I've ordered from here several times. Most recently, I ordered for lunch but didn't realise they didn't deliver until dinner - do my lunch was due for 18:30. Sushimo spotted my mistake and called me straight away to explain and offer collection. Great customer service. Food is delicious and service is very fast. Definitely plan to eat there again.

Before to get pregnant of my little baby boy I ate there. Almost 2 years ago. Many times between eating in and take away. I were so pleased every times. Good value really. I am ordering again aftet long time, hopefully I will be still happy and pleased.

Unfortunately the only thing I tried from the menu doesn't make me want to come back...the ramen was served lukewarm, inside the eggs was cold, served with a plastic spoon, noodle felt like out of a ready to eat/just add some water pack...

Sushimo is a fantastic little sushi restaurant in Wood Green/Turnpike Lane with good quality food and decent service. I has previously been ordering takeaway during lockdown and wanted to take advantage of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. The sushi rolls (maki, inside out rolls and signature rolls) all have good ratios of filling to rice and the fish tastes fresh and ofna high grade. Sashimi is also of a substantial cut and relatively good value with a wide selection available. The accompaniments such as takoyaki, friend tentacles, miso aubergine and tempura are all well done as well. There wasn't a dish I could fault on either of the two visits I made. The premises is clean and tables are spaced sufficiently during this pandemic. Guests are asked to sign in on arrival and provide track and trace details and hand sanitiser is provided. A really good restaurant and good value for sushi in North London.

Top notch, easy going sushi feasting

I have ordered several times and I am happy to give it 5 stars for the food. The bento boxes are the best, with the sushimo bento my favourite. They are very nice, not overpriced and fairly generous in portions. The chicken teriyaki tastes amazing and as well for the salmon. The salad is iceberg which is not the best, but I love the dressing (not sure what kind of dressing it is though). Ton katsu is well fried and it is accompanied with a delicious sweet sauce (maybe apricot). The agedashi tofu is weirdly tough, I would recommend the restaurant to find another brand of tofu). I have ordered some sushi and it was nice. Although I haven't tried many as they are fairly expensive. Now the negative comments: Some time they are slow to deliver. There are many days I wanted to order but the delivery was not possible. The website need some redesigning. User should be able to register and track their order. Also if delivery is not available it should be displayed in the front page, not in the checkout. It happened that I spent half an hour deciding what to order to discover I couldn't order it.

Gyoza was great and rainbow sushi selection as well, it took some time to get the sushi and I ate it in 3 mins, it was fresh and delicious. But my biggest downside beside the long wait for the sushi was pork traditional ramen which was very disappointing, I took my boyfriend to try ramen for the first time since he was skeptical and he didn’t like it, I tried it as well and it wasn’t very good either. I would recommend sushi and gyoza to everyone but this place desperately needs good ramen since I read the reviews and other people weren’t happy either.

Just received my order now and the sea weed salad out of date( taste horrible) spicy tuna rolls and tuna avocado rolls, ( just rise and avocado fresh cause the tuna smells and taste horrible, 100% out of date ) 42 £ food straight in the bin. Very fast delivery! Quality ZER0!!!!!!!!!!!!!
