The service and food was amazing.

The sushi was not bad. Presentation was nice. Miso soup was good

Yummy. Poke bowls are my favourite. Staff are friendly and great selection for sushi.

I can't contain my excitement about this incredible sushi spot I found in our downtown: Sushi Futomaki. I recently visited with my kids and their friend, and we were blown away by their family platter. The variety of sushi was mind-blowing, and the sauces were simply divine. Everything was so fresh and delicious, and it was a true feast! The presentation was a whole other level – they served it all in a giant boat! The kids were thrilled. The restaurant's atmosphere was also great; it was nice and relaxed. And the staff? So friendly and attentive. Now, I'll be honest, it's not the cheapest place in town. We spent a fair bit, but considering the amount of food we got and how delicious it was, it was worth it. If you're looking for a unique sushi experience, this is definitely the place to go. Five stars from me!

Revising my previous review from 4 ⭐️to 5 ⭐️. Decided to go back again last week and ordered the sharing sushi platter for two. It was very well presented and tasted great. The serving size was huge so ended up taking leftovers home which they packed really nicely. Our server, who I assume is the manager as well took time to explain the differences between fish and their Japanese origins as well which I thought was really interesting and helpful. Will definitely go back! Ordered the Rainbow Roll and Chicken Katsu. The Rainbow Roll was great - just the right size and super fresh. However, the Chicken Katsu, though a good portion, was a bit dry and lacked flavor on its own. But after mixing with some curry and soy sauce, it improved. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Overall, it was a good experience.

We are frequent customers. We LOVE IT. If you have not tried it it’s a must.

been going here every few weekends as a mum and daughter day and not only is the food amazing but the staff are always so friendly and go so far to remember our orders!

It’s great having a good sushi place local. The food is lovely and fresh, there is also something for everyone (incase you go with a fussy eater). If you go with a fellow sushi lover get a sharing platter not only is it nice the presentation is fun aswell. Previously we would only be able to get good sushi if we went into central London.

A treat to find on a smallish high street. Friendly staff, no delay on serving food, and very tasty.

Great local sushi restaurant. We had a bit of everything and were really impressed with the quality. The service was fast and friendly and it had a good atmosphere. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy with a mix of families and couples.

This is the third time we have visited the restaurant, and we keep coming back because the quality of food and service is exceptional and consistent. We always recommend this restaurant to our family and friends. The sharing platters, crunchy sushi rolls and special/signature sushi rolls are fantastic. The staff are lovely, attentive and show that they really care about the restaurant and customers. A must visit sushi restaurant in Ruislip. 10/10

Delicious and well priced sushi. Service is pretty fast as expected with a smaller restaurant. Can be a bit muggy inside though especially on hotter days, they have an air conditioner but seem to never use it. If you're visiting during busy hours you might not find Street parking, in which case you can park by Waitrose or Wimpy. Both are paid parking but reasonably cheap, especially if you have a Hillingdon card.

This is a nice little restaurant that serves pretty decent sushi and sashimi. We had a few starters and the family sushi platter. The only questionable thing on the platter was deep-fried sushi as it was too big and rather oily, apart from not being authentically Japanese.

Good service and nice decor Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend for sushi, firstly there were undercooked pieces of rice within the sushi that were crunchy, rolls were overstuffed which doesn't really make sense for sushi, rice was almost compacted down in some of the rolls which was odd. Various sushi options that are unusual and interesting so would be great if rice was improved. Also good variety for vegetarians. The taco and bao bun were fantastic so would recommend for their non sushi menu

We had a fantastic experience at Futomaki Sushi! The sushi was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have tried sushi all over the world and even make it at home. It is so hard to find an authentic sushi restaurant that is actually divine. Within the Pinner, Hatch End, and Ruislip area, some places are okay, but this is by far the best. I went for an early dinner with my kids and they loved it! From the tempura and sushi rolls to the OMG deep-fried roll (a must-try), everything was exceptional. The atmosphere, the staff, and the decor are great. My belly was very full, and most importantly, my kids were happy. Best sushi place in the Hillingdon & Harrow postcodes!

Bought some food today via Uber eats the prawn tempura was burnt on the outside and raw grey on the inside. Their crispy squid was soggy like jelly. It put me off eating the rest of the meal which went straight in the bin. Paid £60 for this order. Very disappointed and disgusted. Very poor quality

I wanted to try this restaurant for ages and we finally had a chance to go there tonight. Good quality sushi, fresh and tasty. Spider roll was super good, I recommend it! Definitely worth trying this restaurant!

Amazing sushi, if you like quality sushi and are willing to pay for it then this quiet unasuming little restaurant in Ruislip will not disappoint. Quality authentic chefs (quite happy to chat too and tell you about it) that make it for you fresh so be patient, its worth it! Superb.

I went there for very first time on Mother’s Day, restaurants was fully packed. Waited bit longer for food because restaurants was so busy but food was very nice and fresh .Will love to go back again. Staff were so friendly. It was very lovely time at sushi Futomaki. Food is really really fresh and presented well.

I must give credit where it's due, and this place truly excels in serving delicious sushi and fried chicken dumplings! As someone who's picky about dumplings (gyozas/dim sums), I can attest that theirs are exceptionally tasty and satisfying. The sushi is also fresh and delightful. It's definitely worth a try. I've also sampled their chicken noodles, which I would rate 8/10. Additionally, the fact that they serve halal chicken is a definite plus for me.

We just ordered for a birthday party and the sushi was not good at all, the fish used was very bad quality and the whole sushi rolls were all squashed up. The avocados also were not riped. I must say wasn't a good meal at all. Also very expensive for the quality provided !

Good quality sushi, served by welcoming staff, in a down to earth setting. Some interesting options not available in other sushi joints (e.g. various cerviches), but don’t always pull it off (chef seems to have a penchant for sauces which overpower what is good quality fish). Worth a visit.
