The lunch special is great value with a cash discount. The menu is not bad but it doesn't change much. I would like to see some new dishes from time to time.

Not so Super … Most depressing and ugly Sushi i’ve ever eaten … Sushi seemed like they were made by a 10 year old … each sushi looked different in size and shape , very badly presented and made . This is an absolute disgrace if this is meant to represent Japanese Sushi . Very Amateur Kitchen Team . Front of house team and kitchen team seemed like they have given up , People don’t seem like they enjoy working there , atmosphere was depressing and the whole restaurant looks like it’s dated back to the 80’s . Food quality 6/10 Service 6.5/10 Cleanliness 8/10 Over Dining Experience 6.5/10

We went as a family group of 6 which was a birthday dinner. The food is fresh and tasty. The tempura prawns were the star of the show and we ordered 4 portions. Bear in mind that you’re eating a lot of rice with your food so you’ll get easily filled as it’s carbs. Avoid the sushi giant rolls which are California rolls they are huge and filled with mostly rice. I’d recommend the dumplings delicious. Drinks are not included and will cost you £2.20 for soft drinks and more for alcohol. The atmosphere is very peaceful and you can enjoy a mild Japanese theme. I would definitely go again

I have been eating here almost monthly for the past 2 years and cannot recommend enough. The food is delicious, well-presented and great value!!

We've been coming here for years, my kids have been using chopsticks since they learned to use a fork. We love the food, the dragon roll and rock & roll are excellent, as is the yakisoba and katsu curry. The staff are friendly and accommodating to the baby's request for extra tofu in his soup. The lunch menu saves 30% on main meals and the all you can eat menu is a great option too. Only downside is that card facilities are not always available, but there is an ATM right next door.

Went on a Sunday and had the set priced menu. Good variety to choose from. Good presentation & quick and pleasant service.

We went for the all you can eat option, the food quality was good, food selection was also nice. My only concern is that there wasn't enough of a selection of raw fish for me, but enough for me not to be disappointed, and everything was good for the hot selection, a couple of things could be improved on but nothing to complain about. When selecting the food you select what you like on the paper and put a number as an indicator in how much you would like. A small recommendation to the restaurant would be is when giving the food they should introduce the food so you know what you was eating, as we got some food we didn't order and we became full from things we wouldn't have necessarily have picked. Although great for a large group I think the experience would have been even better as a small group, less confusion and easier to order as it can be a little difficult if everyone likes something different, but its still a great experience. The staff was very friendly and made you feel very welcome, not at all rushed which is nice for an all you can eat. Would definitely be returning soon.

Very poor service and the food quality wasn’t very good , Salmon sashimi was paper thin and tiny , ordered salmon and asparagus it was so hard it wasn’t edible .i was looking forward to going back there after months of isolating the one thing that wasn’t bad was the social distancing!!!!

My daughter has recently returned from living in China and has dispaired of the Lack of real understanding restaurant staff have regarding being covid safe. When we arrived at Super sushi, all the staff were wearing face screens and masks, they took our temperature at the door and took our details; the menus had been placed under glass on the tables, so weren't touched by lots of people. My daughter felt more relaxed than she has since returning home in July! We really enjoyed the food, although I thought the noodles were too greasy (but my partner liked them). Came here for dinner and ordered a selection of sushi and appetisers off the menu. The sushi was so fresh and absolutely yummy! Staff and service were fantastic and the restaurant had a lovely ambience! Looking like a ‘go to’ in future!

Sadly I can't give a 0 star review on here. I'm not usually one to complain at all, I love food and am usually the first person to say 'oh it doesn't matter' if something isn't quite right. BUT me and my partner ordered Chicken Katsu, Chicken Yakiudon, Torikaage x 2 and some Gyozas for lunch and it was the worst and most disgusting food i've had in a long time - it went straight in the bin. A massive waste of £38! The Chicken Katsu comes with a 'side salad' which consisted of about two leaves and the Chicken itself was the smallest piece of breaded chicken i've ever seen. Flattened to within an inch of it's life it practically wasn't Chicken anymore. At £10.20 for a Chicken Katsu we were expecting a bit more substance and maybe a sauce or rice? The noodles were awful, I took one bite and could eat anymore, they had a disgusting old oil and funny taste/smell to them - my partner who usually eats anything under the sun couldn't even stomach them which is saying a lot. The Tori Kaarage which I was really looking forward to was basically 5 oil balls with slimey chicken inside, again I couldn't bring myself to eat it. Lastly the Gyoza's were probably the best of the awful meal but even then I wouldn't finish them and also went in the bin. It's really sad to see as so many people have added so many nice reviews which is exactly why I thought it'd be a nice meal, so i'm utterly disappointed and feel conned out of £38! Sorry, should have taken some photos but it went in the bin so quickly we completely forgot!

Ordered a takeaway to pick up from this restaurant and was disappointed, Ordered the tuna shashimi and this was off and sticky, the tuna in the sushi was very dark indicating it’s was old and the California rolls has very odd vegetables in them we couldn’t even recognize. For near enough £20 for the order , I was very Disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality and charge.Avoid !!!

The overall experience is pleasant. We had the buffet and ordered dishes like Salmon Sashimi, Temaki, Prawn Katsu, Prawn Tempura, Beef Gyu, Miso Soup, Chicken Katsu and Macha ice-cream etc. Overall the dishes are nice except for the Miso Soup which was too dilute and it taste like water. The beef guy was a bit chewy but apart from that the other dishes are quite nice. The staff are friendly but when the kitchen gets too busy, the order of the food became mixed up. So something we order in the 1st order might then come when we place our 4th order. So be aware of it.

Went to Super Sushi in Chingford last night. Looked at menu to see if the £18 eat as much as you want menu was worth the money. Decided to take up the offer.

I come here every week with my best friend and we love their food. The food is delicious and fresh. I can say the sushi is one of the best I’ve had so far. The owners are so polite and the service is brilliant. Since this lovely family have taken over the restaurant the food has been fantastic!

I have been in this restaurant twice but have order takeaway from here at least 5 times and always have been overly impressed with the food. The staff are very polite and the prices aren’t bad. I am a local resident so understand that parking is quite awkward however other than that it is great. Service and delivery is always quicker than expected which is great for me because I am a very hungry person :)

Me and my partner go here quite often, also with friends on various occasions. Perfect for a quick bite or a friends meal, family whatever the weather. Parking can be a bit awkward sometimes but use side roads and main road. Food good value for money always had off the all you can eat, staff friendly and attentive. Cant go wrong. If ever there is a problem with food just speak up not had an issue. Take cash in case as well as card.

Go here hungry. Quite ‘ricey’ sushi. Waitress happy to accommodate requests which was refreshing compared with other sushi venues. Katsu curry is more like a curry than when you compare to chains. Cash only.

Always have been a fan of this restaurant, on a street with other restaurant this one stands out from the rest in regards to food, with an all you can eat menu for anyone's sushi fix. The menu has both cold and hot food, with favorites being prawn tempura, salmon skin roll, California roll and of course the ever formidable salmon sashimi with just the right amout of fat and freshness. Always have to ask for that extra ginger fix. They also do a take out menu, which I have yet to try but I can only imagine it being the same as the all you can eat. Great place to eat and different from whats available.

Went to the 'All you can Eat' onSunday evening, some of the Sushi was nice and fresh, some not so. The other food noodles, etc was a bit bland to be honest. Lots of sugary sauce added toilets of dishes, not needed. Service was ok and the place was clean.

Had a lovely meal with friends at Super Shushi. My mate who thinks he is a sushi expert ordered various dishes, all very good, fresh and tasty. Waitress was very helpful despite speaking little English. Food came quickly, we tried bits of everything and were not disappointed. Would definitely return. Good value for £18 per head.

We used to visit frequently when it first opened a few years ago, but it changed hands and was dreadful. We heard it had changed hands again and decided to give it another chance. Lovely new owners who are trying very hard. Mains/hot food was piping hot and really good quality. Sushi was good, but for my taste the rice was a bit too dense. Friendly and efficient service and we will return. Great value.

This restaurant has changed hands a couple of times. I visited about 8 months ago and wasnt impressed. Thought I would give it another try. So pleased I did. Service and food back to the excellent standard of the original restaurant. If you like all things sushi give it a try. If you havnt tried sushi give it a go. There is something for everyone.

This place has a great menu and fresh fish - the sushi and sashimi are really good. Great range of Japanese food not just the regular stuff! Owners are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Worth a visit.

I have been there yesterday night. The waiters are warm and welcoming. We arrived late around 8:30pm; the restaurant closes at 10:30 so it was very quiet. We ordered all you can eat sushi. They were all good and tasty. The price is very good as it costs £18/person. They also propose a discount for the a la carte. I liked this place and will probably visit again. I highly recommend this place.

Haven't been here for a couple of years, and went with some trepidation as recent reviews have not been good, but braved it and glad we did.

We used to come here so often then we found out the management had changed. It did delay us returning but we recently went back and you can so tell a difference! The food isn’t as nice chicken teriyaki was so gristly and the rice was very sticky. Just overall didn’t taste as fresh as it use to! I found the waitress very offish towards us. Was a slight language barrier when wanting to order just diet cokes and she thought we said lemonade service is slow they all stand behind the till hiding away! It just isn’t the same in there.

Food was amazing first time trying sushi but can't wait to have it again and try what else they have on the menu.

This the second time I have been and I have to say the food is a lot better. Not sure if it’s the new chefs but I will be back here on a regular basis when in town.

This used to be one of my favorite places, however i have very little interest in visiting this place again as it has really gone down hill since the change of management.

The quality of food and service has gone down a significant amount since the change in management and it is unlikely we will be attending again after giving it a chance on more than one occasion.

We have always to this restaurant as our local Japanese restaurant as the food and service has always been great.

I visited this resturant with a friend at lunch time, when everything on the al a carte menu is half price. The service was impeccable, the menu extensive, and the food to die for. Haviing lived in Japan for nearly two years (I brought my own chopsticks from Kyoto), I was in seventh heaven. I recommend in particular the crispy salmon skin sushi, accompanied by a bowl of miso soup. My only criticism is that almost none of the staff spoke Japanese, and when I said "Oishii desu ka" to our Polish waiter, he thought I was making a complaint, and the girl who held the door open on our departure gave me a blank look when I said 'Sayonara.'

Ive always meant to pop into this restaurant, as it's close to where I live. The fact that it always seems empty as I walk past it should have been a warning of things to come, but I always try to champion local businesses.

I am a regular here so much that we know each other on first name terms. The Sushi has always been of the highest standards and I've been to Japan on business so know a few things. I know that this now under New management I do expect a few teething problems but come on they have had a good 3 months to transition this. Unfortunately I am very disappointed and I am sure that it will fall short of most expectations. Infuriated today with the new staff and the excessive delays. I have been sitting here for over an hour and still the sushi has not arrived and there's not even an explanation. This is terrible service and I have to leave. Such a shame!

Ok, so it won't win prizes for innovation and it probably won't be the best sushi you've ever tasted BUT everything we had off the a la carte was fresh, tasty, hot (when it needed to be!) and fantastic value- loads to eat (with green tea) with the 50% off deal came to £14 per head at lunch. Will definitely return. They need to open a branch in Walthamstow...

Went on a Friday evening with a couple of friends, had been about 6 months before and was really looking forward to returning. We were not disappointed. We went for the £17 all you can eat deal, every dish was freshly prepared and really tasty, It was a bit difficult to understand the staff when inquiring about various dishes but this was no big problem as we were not paying on a per dish basis. We all tried the Asahi beer which was very refreshing. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit for any Japanese food lovers, there is plenty of variety and the £17 per head deal is great value enabling novices to try new dishes without spending a fortune. We will definitely be returning.

this place could be a little gold mine. The place is lovely and the food really good.the two guys that served us couldnt speak english they were from somewhere in europe- which wouldn't have been a problem if they could understand what was asked. I have specific dietary needs and asking these guys what was in a dish was beyond hope.The people that run this place are really loosing custom - I have done japanese food before and knew what i wanted but don't ask if there is a certain ingredient in a meal.Lunch was half price - very good deal if you dont need advice from the menu

I've been her 3 or 4 times now, only once since new management took over. I couldn't fault a thing! The sushi is super fresh and tasty and there's always more than enough. Reasonably priced and the new staff seemed really good as well as some of the old staff still there. Card machine wasn't working but wasn't a problem since there's a free cash machine next door.Staff were attentive and welcoming, as always.

I phoned to book a table and was told my 12 year old son would be charged adult price if he is over 120cm tall. After measuring he is 140cm tall, but i think it is harsh to charge adult prices for a slightly taller child, so i will not be going.

Absolutely love this place. Quality is top drawer, and the lunchtime half price offer is incredible value. They are great with kids too. Food is really well presented, fish is great and nothing tastes frozen. I haven't sampled everything on the menu yet, but the sea bass tempura is outstanding. My wife loved the dragon rolls, and my daughter goes mad for the prawn Katsu. This is now a firm favourite for a family lunch.

My daughter treated me to a meal at Super Sushi and Super it was. Lovely atmosphere and excellent customer service. We had my 6 week old grandaughter with us and staff ensured we were seated comfortably. Waiter explained the menu and how to order and pointed out that some dishes incurred an extra cost. Now for the food...I cannot remember the names of what we ordered but everything was delicious. The sushi was on point, I think we tried nearly every one. Tempura prawns oh my, the batter melted in your mouth... we also had stir fried veg noodles which were delicious. I noticed 1 review stated customer service was awful...I'm a stickler for good customer service and can honestly say Super Sushi staff were very attentive without being overbearing . 10/10 for food, 10/10 for customer service. We had the buffet meal which was £17 per person. Great value for money and everything cooked fresh. I will definitely be going back again and I have told all my friends and family.So now I'm telling you the person reading this review to give it a go you will not be disappointed .

Dined as a family. 2 adults and 2 children. Price have changed from online ad. Child price is ok but also paid for my 4 year old, who really didn't eat much. Been to a few buffets and they never charge for my little one. Service was ok could be better, it was not a full house while we was dinning so no excuses. Nigari, fish slices were a bit thin. Salmon sashimi were a bit small too.Other than the above its a nice place, food was good. Planning to go again soon. Also the food is halal but will have to double check that again. Meaning ask to see the halal certificate!!!!

Really bad costumer service. All members of staff are rude and they shout at costumers. The table next to us got told off for not ordering all their dishes from the beginning when the guy tried to order an extra plate of noodles. They are not friendly in any way. We got shouted at when we asked for a fork for my 5 year old. They were just rude every time.

After reading the reviews I was expecting great things but it's only ok. The salmon skin roll was good but I think the crab in the california roll was a crab stick rather than fresh.

Yesterday my partner and I went with our friends to Super Sushi and we were impressed. The restaurant is a fair size with quite a few tables but it is nicely spread out which is nice. We were shown to our table and our drinks/ food order taken rather quickly. We had to mark off our order on an order form which was easy enough however I would recommend ordering more than six at a time if they will allow you to.The food took quite a while to come out which was a shame, I'm not sure whether it was because it was a Sunday or whether they were understaffed. Otherwise the service was good and staff friendly. The food was really tasty and very fresh which is so important with sushi. Between the four of us we probably tried around sixteen different dishes and we couldn't complain about a single one! As a vegetarian I was impressed with the range of options, more than most other sushi restaurants I have been to, and it was £18 per person for the all you can eat buffet.I would definitely recommend and I'll be returning but probably on a weekday evening!

Great buffet for £17 each - loads to choose from on the menu - service is good. Young oriental man usually is our waiter and he's so helpful and professional. And soooo clean! As soon as you leave they are tidying up after you and cleaning the tables. Sushi is authentic and great portions. Good atmosphere and choice on the buffet menu. Wish they were open on Mondays! :-)

Went here on a Saturday lunch time hungry, I left very VERY full. This place has great offers, excellent staff and good sushi. This is no Sushi Wa, not better or worse just different. You get value for money, its local and easy and I found out that they deliver to the local area (nearly lost my mind!).Will definitely bring my family here and I KNOW they will like it. Guys, will be back to try the rest of the menu so keep doing what you are doing.

We went last December I had totally forgotten to write a review! All I can say is warm sushi, flat coke, poor service bit like a canteen, we left our food paid and left!! You cannot compare the sushi here to that of Sushi Fresh in Wanstead or Two Kitchens in Loughton.

Everything was first class. A wonderfully extensive menu and helpful informative staff. Have tried sushi many times before but this restaurant is in a different league. Fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Not to mention terrific value for money. This restaurant deserves a visit. What are you waiting for !!!!!

I've never been a fan of sashimi until I tried it here. Literally melts in your mouth. The owner and the staff are so helpful and friendly! The food here is simply amazing! We always go for the buffet (you can order the same thing up to 4 times I think) On our last visit, we tried their chicken katsu. The chicken was tender and non greasy. I cannot get enough of their aubergine with miso, fried tofu and prawn tempura. Basically everything! for desserts you have have to try the green tea ice cream. If you're like me and don't really like green tea, their red bean ice cream is a must try.

Spent an evening with my 2 daughters We selected the all you can eat option for £17.00 . We could have most things from the main menu Sushi Sashimi Noodles etc ..We didn't feel it was a limited option We had the chicken yakitori and sushi to start and both were excellent as where the Salmon and Chicken Teriyaki ..We tried more sushi and Sashimi all excellent. Prawn tempura was good and we also tried the oyster tempura that wasn't to our taste ..All in all we had a good evening the service was good as was the food and by trying the all you can eat it gave us all an opportunity to try different things Would definitely recommend this for an evening
