Been here several times and tried different meals on every occasion. The presentation and taste of the food is superb and it is served piping hot. The staff are very courteous and friendly and the prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend

We visited on Thursday evening after the restaurant had been recommended by a friend. We were so impressed. It was a lovely cosy atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious. My son said it was the best meal he had ever had in his life! Would highly recommend and we’ll be back soon, thank you!

Absolute disgrace by owner- we turned up in the pouring rain to be told "Hello Malcolm very sorry we are not open this evening & my forgetful wife has mislaid you phone number so unable to contact you" This story was of course total rubbish & the real reason for not accepting us (we booked in January by the way!) was he had no customers in the restaurant at all. The restaurant was fully open lights on,tables set but no customers so he decided to close. This is the second time this has happened to us at this restaurant although i believe the first time he was ill. I rejected his excuse for letting us down & of course the "Villa Boutique Hotel" who recommends this place was equally shocked by the treatment we received having walked for 20 mins in the pouring rain. Please make up your own mind regarding my review which is of course my honest opinion & make sure you get a cast iron guarantee of them not turning you away. There are many wonderful places to eat in Bridlington so shop around is my advice. I expect a total denial of the circumstances by the owner but stand by the facts. If i could award this restaurant a minus score i certainly would.

Very unwelcoming even with extremely well behaved children. Without doubt very clicky. Asked to change mixed starter item for another, oh it’s too expensive, said would pay difference, got charged for full portion of the other item. Low IQ, ‘Cheap skates’. Review from 7.5 years ago, only just got around to it, better late then never…

The best Thai I've eaten by a long way. Nice Thai wine too, will look that up.

Superb meal. Really tasty and fresh. Great value too.

What a beautiful place with amazing food. The staff are helpful and friendly. Only downside was a times it got quite noisy but that was just from people talking. All in all I would 100% recommend this resturant to anyone. Although booking in advance is best to guarantee getting in.

Lovely place with amenable staff; I think the owner seated us and we didn't have a reservationuntil an hour before. Place was almost packed and we were told we only had an hour and a half due to late reservation, but that was plenty of time for us and it was nice of them to inform us just in case. Food was really good, albeit on the very spicy side and really small portions. That was the biggest disappointment as the price did not reflect good value, especially since when I went to the toilet I could see the stock cupboard of jars and bottles of sauces, which surprised me because it seemed very fresh. You could see the kitchen staff were very experienced and all in Al it was a nice experience.

Superb food and service. Warm and atmospheric seating and decor. Looking forward to another meal here soon.

First time in this little gem the food was 👌 unfortunately we couldn't have a starter as we had a train to catch but if they are as good as the main dishes you won't be dissappointed i had a chicken dish number (14) great atmosphere for such a little place

Had this recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. You must book though as there's only 10 or 11 tables. Everything was delicious. We didn't leave a scrap and the service was very good. Friendly staff. I would definitely eat here again.

We have been going to Supattra since it took over lucianos flying pizza restaurant circa 2000. It is without a doubt my favourite Thai restaurant to date.My favourite meal the SP17 crab curry- local produce to Koo’s authentic cuisine.Booking essential to avoid disappointment

I found this Thai restaurant below par and not an authentic Thai experience. The food was only average compared to other Thai restaurants I have visited over the years. There was none of the usual welcome and food presentation that you could expect from a good Thai restaurant. Front of house was not always visible and customers had to wait for a while before they were welcomed and seated. We watched a couple leave rather than wait to be dealt with. I can not quite believe the good reviews and wonder if they were visiting the same restaurant I visited.

Fabulous Thai cuisine, we go as often as we can. There are some new dishes this year to try. Booking a must as very popular. Excellent staff and top notch food Freshly cooked.

Booked a table at this Thai restaurant recently on a Saturday night. Not a big place ,quite busy and good atmosphere. Greeted by a friendly polite SMILING gentleman on arrival and shown to our table by the water feature. The food was good no complaints there ..but the service..not once did any of the female staff smile...never...I thought they were been held hostage or something!! Thailand..the land of smiles..not in Bridlington it's not !! Unfortunately we wouldn't return here ...two hours with that staff is depressing

First visit here and excellent experience. Small, busy, nicely furnished restaurant. Prompt, friendly service. Top quality thai food and very generous portions. We had 3 starters and 2 mains between 2 of us and we’re defeated but we’re able to take the leftovers away. Look forward to revisiting.

Our first visit to restaurant. Greeted by very friendly owner and taken to table Helped with wine which was very good Food order was taken and delivered by young lovely girls who served us very well and made our visit enjoyable. The young girl Sho was especially a delight and top it all the food was excellent. Recommend a visit you wont be disappointed.

Lived here for nearly five years and we had not visited before . what a lovely restaurant it is . very authentic feel about it , the food was amazing and its not often i say that , very welcoming and at-tentative staff, we will certainly come again .........thank you .

Think twice about going here. Their site said open but when we got there it was closed. Called them next day to query that and book for that day….no answer, no answer so I sent a text..they did eventually call me and we got booked in. Looking forward to it we arrived and he made out we didn’t have a reservation….funny as he got a book and there we were! Put on a table right by the door but ok we were in! 15 minutes later still no menu and no drinks, totally ignored… Got up and left and they still didn’t bother. What a way to run a business. Went elsewhere (Yips) and got top service and a good meal, menus as we sat and drinks within 3 minutes .

This is one of my very favourite places to eat in Bridlington. It is always busy with a good atmosphere, authentically decorated and welcoming. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. The food is absolutely delicious, we have been a couple of times now and haven't had a bad meal yet. The portions are ample, full of flavour, and beautifully cooked.

This place is like a welcoming hug of culinary delight, from the greeting when you enter to the delicious food to the cherry farewell

There is something special about Thai food and I mean special in a very good way. I was told it was advisable to book, I did and when I arrived a little early it was apparent why. Every table was full and most of the customers were local. We were greeted by the manager/owner, a delightful gentleman who was apologising as there might be a 10 minute wait ... absolutely no problem whatsoever. As busy as they were he still found time to chat and even though he was the "boss man", he was very much hands on and helping. The two waitresses were outstanding, we found the whole ambience perfect. Even the locals had time to talk and suggest dishes but to be perfectly honest, the food was that good I doubt you could make a wrong choice. Even though they were totally full, there was no silly wait for food either the starters or the main course and suffice to say, there was nothing and I mean nothing left on either plate. The plates were piping hot and we could not have wished for anything different. A busy restaurant says a lot about the venue and even more so when the majority of diners were local. Definitely will be returning and bringing friends. A fantastic evening out, delicious meal, friendly service, decent local diners - what more is there to ask for ! Thanks, SteveB

Went for a celebratory meal but left feeling somewhat wanting more and taken advantage of . The meals were acceptable portion size compared to other Thais I have been to were small . Whilst the food was nice nothing blew me away or my friends. The restaurant was quite cold maybe due to heating costs ?? But the main end to the evening was the calypso coffee at £7.75 each ! This was very disappointing end to our night out . Whilst prices clearly shown we wanted an end a desert but nothing really stood out . Sorry about this review but left underwhelmed.

Absolutely amazing dining experience with such great flavours, the food is really great quality and well worth the price. Started with a variety of starters between the two of us to sample this Thai cuisine, followed by a beef curry and rice which was absolutely delicious. Visited tonight (23/09/22) purely out of interest as we were passing by. We hadn't made a reservation beforehand and the owner was kind enough to squeeze us in. The menu is fabulous, the staff attentive and knowledgeable and Tim, the owner, was both extremely pleasant and welcoming but also very much in charge and keeping things running smoothly. We ordered and after a short 20 minute or so wait we were rewarded with the most beautiful Thai food, fresh, hot and extremely tasty. Absolutely cannot fault this little place, we will certainly be back and will be telling others about it too. Definitely worth a visit, you'll be in for a treat. 10/10.

Ate here this evening, we didn’t have a booking (on a Saturday evening) but were kindly accommodated anyway. The owner was very friendly and attentive. We love Thai food and were not disappointed with the dishes we ordered. We had a starter each and shared a curry, stir fry, phad Thai and rice for mains. Everything was delicious, very hot and fresh and 100% authentic (we’re very picky…!) I also thoroughly enjoyed the wine - I chose the Colombard which was recommended to go with Thai food - I’m also rather choosy about my wine but this was perfectly chilled and did indeed complement the food very well. We were really impressed with Supattra and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves Thai food. Thanks again to the owners for squeezing us in on a busy night.

Been going to Koo's restaurant since she opened it 20+ years ago. Never disappoints. Not cheap but you get fantastic tasting authentic Thai food.

Called in 6pm for a table. Seated just behind the entrance curtain. Not ideal when people come in and wait to be seated. Trying to eat whilst someone's backside is at the end of the table is not nice. However, that was a small inconvenience...

They say you only get one chance to make a first impression, and this was our first time at this restaurant, and wow! what a first impression that was. We've tried just about every restaurant in Bridlington, and I can safely say, without fear of contradictions, that this restaurant is head and shoulders above all of them. The food, the ambiance, the staff, the owner Tim and his wife, everything was spot on. This has now become, not just our favourite restaurant, but the only restaurant that we will be visiting in future. Excellent! Everything that you expect from a dining experience. If I could, I would have given this six stars!

They’re not wrong when they say this is the absolute ‘hidden gem of the north east’ Honestly the best Thai food we have ever had! And we LOVE Thai food. After having a bad taxi service, we eventually arrived half an hour late for our table reservation but this was no issue for these lovely people! They made us feel so welcome and chilled us out instantly. The atmosphere was gorgeous. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. And the food was outstanding! We feel privileged to have eaten at this restaurant. 10/10! We ate every last bit. Such a lovely experience. Tim and Koo are such lovely people as well. We will 100% be back to this restaurant!
