Great chippy, excellent fish. Lost a star for serving much smaller portions than its competitors.

Best fish and chips I have ever had !!!!

Just called in for lunch, disappointed that they had ran out of Rag Puddings so I opted for a Pea Fritter. I bit into the fritter and almost heaved on finding long strands of onion the texture of which makes me ill. I’ve never come across onions in a Pea Fritter and I’m not alone in disliking the texture of onions. Totally ruined my lunch - Be warned

After seeing irish curry on the overlap went to try it, 5/5 and so was the food. 😋

Ordered a large portion of chips and was absolutely delighted with the amount we got there were enough to feed two the Holland's pudding are tasty not soggy the staff are lovely and pleasant great to talk to the English curry sauce is gorgeous definitely recommend

I chose to order from this chippy as I've been here before some time ago. What a mistake. Uncooked chips that I had to refry at home, £6,30 for a 'fish' that was more batter than cod. Tiny pots of gravy, mushy peas and curry sauce. Save your money and go elsewhere. Apparently they don't need repeat business because they keep ripping off new customers.

On a visit back from Australia and craving a pudding, chips, peas and gravy, I decided to visit here after reading about it in Gary Neville's book. Fantastic food, staff are lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend

Used to get small portions but we had great portions for tea tonight. Rag pud chips peas a d gravy which was lovely and meat and potato pie chips peas n irish curry... a clean plate said it all.

1st time here and won't be the last. Food was hot, tasty and plentiful to the point nobody could finish the food. Amazing prices, awesome staff, and each with a smile on their faces. And large pickled eggs n onions to complete the job. Worthy of all 5 stars

Absolutely amazing!! Pies that remind me off what I used to order with my grandma didn’t know they made them so good like this anymore chips so fresh gravy amazing everything is just so amazing!! Found my new fav Absolutely amazing nothing is ever to much for the amazing staff and the delivery guy he didn’t have one off the juices for kids meal and brought all the other flavours amazing guy kids meals come in kid boxes with sweets my favourite chippy off all time Thankyou so much sorry for the delivery notes they was from my last ordered and hadn’t been taken off I’m so embarrassed and deeply sorry Thankyou again

Fantastic service, Friendly staff... Great food, good portion size at a good price. I highly recommend trying the tartare sauce, its the best I've tasted.

Working in the area for the last few weeks and I've tried several chippys. I have to say this one wins hands down. Lovely fish and chips and very polite staff. What's not to like!!

Second time in a week. Lovely staff, place was spotless and the food was absolutely delicious.

Not been here for a long time. I'm really disappointed. The chips were like cardboard And my sons pie was cold. I had to reheat in the microwave. I am sorry to say I won't be visiting again.

Our chips were dry and not fresh , my granddaughters steak pie was dried out and the gravy was like glue, it was far too thick. None of us ate the chips. I’m so disappointed, I thought it would be a lot better with a new owner. My husband said his sausage was just about warm and overcooked but he loved the Irish curry .

Great fish and chips, especially the lightly battered option

I believe the chippy has been taken over, food quality great taste, however, the fish batter was burnt on my fish, and the regular portion of chips where merely 10 chips, not a hearty portion unfortunately, I was also waiting over 35 minutes for my order to be ready. (I ordered fish on arrival) , there's plenty of room for improvement so we shall see how it goes hopefully sort itself out soon, like I said the chips where cooked nicely and the fish itself tasted amazing it wasn't dry. But the quantity of chips, for the price you charged was not worth it
