Stavros Kebab & Pizza in Rochford

Never had a bad experience here, food has always been up to par, quick and reasonably priced for the convenience, though the atmosphere is a little depressing.

Can't even read the orders right....... ordered a meat feast pizza. Ended up being delivered a pineapple pizza which I would never eat......

Never again! Food took two hours to arrive! Who wants to eat dinner at 9.30pm! When it eventually turned up it was cold and we couldn’t even eat it. The lady on the phone was so rude. Such a shame as we have used them for years but never again.

Disappointed with the portion size. I ordered an XL Kofte kebab, & after opening it I only got 2 strips of meat, poor value for money. The food tastes great but compared to the local competition, portion sizes need to improve.

Absolute usless service! Waited 2 and half hours for food then they said my order don’t exist when i spent £50 on takeaway! Woman on the phone was no help whatsoever! Absolutely embarrassing service! Avoid

Ordered tonight manager said it will be half hour was 1hr and 45mins the manager on the phone got very argumentative and lied about it even being out on the road the chicken and chips very huge lumps some burnt chicken when it's normally nice and chopped not many chips we normally order regularly we won't be coming back with that manager and experience we had tonight shocking

Ordered a Super Chicken Shiah got smallest Kebab I’ve ever seen with nothing but pitta

Food has been consistently great, delivery service excellent and quick. Over the last two years Stavros has been high quality . Wouldn't go anywhere else

Don’t waste your money! Ordered a stavros special was £18 for Donna chicken lamb & salad, checked the bag… one pita bread!? Asked for another one, as my boyfriend and I were sharing. The owner came storming over and told us an extra pita bread would be £1 each. For all this meat that is clearly meant to be shared you only get one pita bread - JOKE. Staff were absolutely rude and stingy. But the food was disgusting and actually made us both ill this morning. Wish I just asked for our money back and gone somewhere else. Poor!

Horrendous food, rude staff, made us ill. Avoid this place at all costs. We ordered a Stavros Special which is clearly a sharing kebab, they only gave us one pitter bread and when we asked for another one they were so aggressive and rude and wanted a pound! Just to insult to injury we were both ill this morning. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Ordered a delivery from Stavros Kebabs this evening. And with 3 fussy eaters, we weren’t expecting anything special. But the food is amazing. Definitely will be going there again

Literally the worst kebab i have ever had! Lamb was like eating old boots had to throw it away. Also arrived late and cold. Terrible food

Don’t waste your money, I used to have the kebabs from the van and never a problem but the restaurant is something else, the food was absolutely disgusting and needs to be condemned, the only fresh thing on my plate was the salad, ohh and the tea was fine but I will not be returning, this place actually give kebabs a bad name, I love a kebab but this has got to be one of the worst I have ever had, I also don’t normally write reviews but I felt this place deserves one, go at your own risk, you have been warned

Ordered a kebab wrap with a portion of chips. In the delivery note I asked if I can get cheese on the chips and ordered through just eat. Order turned up with the delivery driver demanding £1.50 cash for cheese after I’ve paid for the order online!! They didn’t think to call asking for another Payment for extra cheese but rather demand this from me at the door!! Since then I haven’t ordered from here. Very upset as it was round the corner too.

Always ordered from Rochford take away never had problems with them. Last few weeks been ordering from here . To night food was freezing cold. Mrs rap burnt. Called them rather than say send another order said were refund . Now there sending food out again they have asked collect last meal . Always have chilli sauce. Will go back to ordering from Rochford take away again. They wouldn't asked for last order back. Not happy

Ordered 2 doner kebabs and a burger to take away. After getting home and lifting the kebabs out of the bag, a huge amount of grease poured out of the polystyrene container all over my phone. The amount of grease was sickening. I will never buy from here again. Disgusting.

Best kebab shop I've been to quick delivery too, highly recommend.

Honestly I've been living here for 7 years and out of my area this is the place to go. People are nice and the food is so clean with big portions. Never had an issue with the service or food.

The delivery time was quick and the salad was fresh. The meat ( Donna) was disgusting, hard dry and old. I sent it back .the staff are nice and efficient - the chef needs sacking.

Ordered thru Just Eat, given a delivery time, 40 mins after delivery time I called to see what was happening to be told if you want your money back call just eat. Rude and obnoxious. Just lost a customer

Several times we have been in here and the food is always amazing. Our most recent visit was on a day when the waitress hadn’t turned up. Even though they could have turned us away, we were welcomed in and had a lovely meal. The chefs checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Portion sizes are really good. I really enjoy coming here.

Having this for the first time had a special kebab and one normal dinner kebab the meat in the special was the worse I have ever had completely fatty won't be returning

Ordered a delivery through justeat several things were wrong, called up and explain and they replaced the whole order absolutely great customer service.

Worst kebab I've ever had. Put last nights doner meat onto the grill and served that up. Thought they would've used all of that by half ten the next night????

Great place with unbelievable food. Before this I thought it would be like kebab shop food. But wow was I wrong! Love this place and good prices.

Lovely meal when having a catch up with my brother and sister in law. Very friendly and attentative staff. Manager/ chef made us very welcome and talked us through the menu, we all had different meals which we’re all enjoyable. Quality and hospitality exceptional.

My boyfriend and I got a takeaway to share. Loads of food and excellent quality. Really happy with our service while we waited. Thank you.

Saturday evening, not very busy, food excellent, too much only let down was the service, had to find waiter on 2 occasions to reorder drinks. Overall very tasty food and would certainly come back, hopefully service better

Oh my God! What a lovely meal, and even more impressive what a fabulous waitress... so so funny, and really wanting to be ‘The Best’! Charlie was absolutely amazing- she really didn’t have enough ‘back-up’ but did 100% put all in to make our night as good as it could be. This natural born promoter for this lovely enjoyable Resturant should be given the training she wants, the respect she deserves and a pay rise - we will definatly return

Tried to order delivery over the phone and the lady told me they do not do delivery. I have had delivery before from there so questioned this and she was very rude. I will never order from them again. If they were too busy, explaining this would have been sufficient. Really unprofessional.

Went out with my friends to celebrate their birthday. Great food and great service and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend

Huge portion sizes, very tasty food.

I have eaten at Bebek on a number of occassions. In my opinion, this is the best Turkish food I have eaten anywhere in the Southend/Rochford area. You can see that they use good quality meat and the service is also really good. I will continue to go back as often as I can!

Lovely lunch there with the family.

My nephew took us there as we are new to the area. The food was just about average. We spoke to the manager and wanted large platters of food as there was 13 of us dining. Instead of giving us what we asked for they gave us 5 of the same platters from their set menu's. It all tasted the same. Bland and boaring. We spent over £200. What a waste of money and food. We really hope they start to listen to their customers and improve their services. Waitress was lovely. Great smile and good conversation.

Superb survive, great portions and reasonable prices. Our lamb was cooked to perfection and we had so much food they happily gave us take away containers. This will become a regular of ours and I highly recommend you all to try.

The meet is lovely , other then that , salad crap , and heated up chips
