Lovely food as always, delivery time was at the end of the susuggested time period, before it has been quicker but I suppose it is just down to availability.

Terrible service, swore down the phone when asked why the delivery was taking to long absolutely despicable

Quality great as always, but why only one pitta bread with the house special?

I was explained that the reason for the late arrival was because the restaurant doesn't open until 5pm so that's fine. I was gutted that I had no salads with our shish kebabs as I didn't realise you had to comment to recieve that option! it had a tick box and it wasn't accepting. I had the worst dinner ever due to no salad and slightly burnt chewy lamb! whoop!!

They dont put the sauce in separate pots so everything arrives soggy. I could just about call it warm but certainly not hot.

love Stavros. food is always delish. the lady in the shop is always pleasant and friendly and if we go home delivery, the drivers are always polite and friendly too.

Order food on their website to then have a email to say that it’s been cancelled, no phone call. Call them up and rude woman told me that she “just takes the phone calls and it’s “nuttin” to do with her” I questioned why they are able to take the order when they know the postcode is undeliverable. She answered “well you’ll have it take it up with the manager” when I asked to speak to them “they ain’t here today”. I asked their names and she said “I dunno I don’t know their names, I just know their nick names” Awful service and rude phone staff.

One of the best takeaways I've had. So glad we moved here. Amazing food

Never had a bad experience here, food has always been up to par, quick and reasonably priced for the convenience, though the atmosphere is a little depressing.

Food was delivered well within the tone frame. Still piping hot, and overall tasted great. Will use again

My favourite grill , after a long day at work just to have something delicious fresh and my one was healthy version, not to cook but everything was spot on xx

Can't even read the orders right....... ordered a meat feast pizza. Ended up being delivered a pineapple pizza which I would never eat......

Never again! Food took two hours to arrive! Who wants to eat dinner at 9.30pm! When it eventually turned up it was cold and we couldn’t even eat it. The lady on the phone was so rude. Such a shame as we have used them for years but never again.

Food is usual great from this place but wasn’t today. Pizza was dry and over cooked chips were hard.

Disappointed with the portion size. I ordered an XL Kofte kebab, & after opening it I only got 2 strips of meat, poor value for money. The food tastes great but compared to the local competition, portion sizes need to improve.

Getting more and more pricey but as a special treat this was spot on

Late and uncooked and 20 mins late

I never received my food, I specifically said call me when outside so I could collect food from driver personally because this has happened in the past and I never received a call

First time ordering from Stavros grill burgers were lovely would order again.

App stated enjoy your food but it didn’t arrive for another 40mins! App now wont let me even put correct time of how late it was

Ordered tonight manager said it will be half hour was 1hr and 45mins the manager on the phone got very argumentative and lied about it even being out on the road the chicken and chips very huge lumps some burnt chicken when it's normally nice and chopped not many chips we normally order regularly we won't be coming back with that manager and experience we had tonight shocking

The chips were cold and stale, the chicken nuggets were cold, hard, and dry. The garlic bread was greasy and cold. Very disappointed

We have been regulars - but never again. Food was over an hour late (after two chaser calls and twice being fobbed-off). Felt sorry for the driver - he's a really nice guy - but the restaurant clearly has some issues.

Always been a regular at stavros but last few meals have been disappointing. I’m a spice lover but the chilli sauce was ridiculously hot this time, pretty much made my whole meal unenjoyable.

I am waiting for my order and still hasn't turned up I called the restaurant and he said busy and five minutes it's been 23 mins since the call phoned again and driver has said he phoned three times which he hasn't and he didn't even turn up I'm starving I have a baby if medical needs I'm eating late up late and up early isn't right all finally got my food at 2345 pm not happy

Did not ask for chilli but got chilli on the lamb kebabs. This made the meal to hot and spicy

Pizza - good, no complaints Kebab - awful, not even the cat would eat it. The meat was dry, brittle and looked like it had been standing under a hot plate for hours. Sorry, won't be recommending the kebabs.

Don’t waste your money! Ordered a stavros special was £18 for Donna chicken lamb & salad, checked the bag… one pita bread!? Asked for another one, as my boyfriend and I were sharing. The owner came storming over and told us an extra pita bread would be £1 each. For all this meat that is clearly meant to be shared you only get one pita bread - JOKE. Staff were absolutely rude and stingy. But the food was disgusting and actually made us both ill this morning. Wish I just asked for our money back and gone somewhere else. Poor!

Horrendous food, rude staff, made us ill. Avoid this place at all costs. We ordered a Stavros Special which is clearly a sharing kebab, they only gave us one pitter bread and when we asked for another one they were so aggressive and rude and wanted a pound! Just to insult to injury we were both ill this morning. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Ordered a delivery from Stavros Kebabs this evening. And with 3 fussy eaters, we weren’t expecting anything special. But the food is amazing. Definitely will be going there again

Literally the worst kebab i have ever had! Lamb was like eating old boots had to throw it away. Also arrived late and cold. Terrible food

Don’t waste your money, I used to have the kebabs from the van and never a problem but the restaurant is something else, the food was absolutely disgusting and needs to be condemned, the only fresh thing on my plate was the salad, ohh and the tea was fine but I will not be returning, this place actually give kebabs a bad name, I love a kebab but this has got to be one of the worst I have ever had, I also don’t normally write reviews but I felt this place deserves one, go at your own risk, you have been warned

Ordered a kebab wrap with a portion of chips. In the delivery note I asked if I can get cheese on the chips and ordered through just eat. Order turned up with the delivery driver demanding £1.50 cash for cheese after I’ve paid for the order online!! They didn’t think to call asking for another Payment for extra cheese but rather demand this from me at the door!! Since then I haven’t ordered from here. Very upset as it was round the corner too.

Always ordered from Rochford take away never had problems with them. Last few weeks been ordering from here . To night food was freezing cold. Mrs rap burnt. Called them rather than say send another order said were refund . Now there sending food out again they have asked collect last meal . Always have chilli sauce. Will go back to ordering from Rochford take away again. They wouldn't asked for last order back. Not happy

Ordered 2 doner kebabs and a burger to take away. After getting home and lifting the kebabs out of the bag, a huge amount of grease poured out of the polystyrene container all over my phone. The amount of grease was sickening. I will never buy from here again. Disgusting.

Honestly I've been living here for 7 years and out of my area this is the place to go. People are nice and the food is so clean with big portions. Never had an issue with the service or food.

The delivery time was quick and the salad was fresh. The meat ( Donna) was disgusting, hard dry and old. I sent it back .the staff are nice and efficient - the chef needs sacking.

Ordered thru Just Eat, given a delivery time, 40 mins after delivery time I called to see what was happening to be told if you want your money back call just eat. Rude and obnoxious. Just lost a customer

Several times we have been in here and the food is always amazing. Our most recent visit was on a day when the waitress hadn’t turned up. Even though they could have turned us away, we were welcomed in and had a lovely meal. The chefs checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Portion sizes are really good. I really enjoy coming here.

Having this for the first time had a special kebab and one normal dinner kebab the meat in the special was the worse I have ever had completely fatty won't be returning

Ordered a delivery through justeat several things were wrong, called up and explain and they replaced the whole order absolutely great customer service.

Very friendly, reasonable prices and I loved the Lamb Shank!
