Delicious food with a large variety of options. The salt and chilli cauliflower dish was a notable stand-out, which we did not expect. The green beans were delicious as always. The mapo tofu is smooth and nicely flavoured. The beef in chilli oil hot pot is nice with a good kick of chilli, though it could do with more depth of flavour.

The food and service were terrible. I ordered braised beef brisket with potatoes, but the potatoes were undercooked and hard. I told the waiter that I wanted the chef to cook longer, but they just took the dish and came back a minute later and said that the cook couldn't cook any more, and that the potatoes bought this time were like this and couldn't cook, and likewise, the other dishes were very bad, hard to swallow. After pay and go to the next door Rice Noodle for dinner . I will never eat in the Station Kitchen again.

"If so many Asians go to this restaurant... it will probably be good." That's what we thought when we were looking for where to eat. Nice reception, courteous service, good menu. We could hardly decide. The appetizer platter was excellent. Main course very tasty and plentiful. Price-performance: great! Highly recommended 💫

Dined here on a wet Scottish Wednesday evening. The smell of Szechwan peppers hit you as soon as you enter the restaurant. Are gonna get our socks blown off with hot spice? Was kinda worried as we had children with us.It was busy with mainly Chinese customers at around 645pm. We were able to get a table upstairs. Not your typical Chinese restaurant, they serve traditional dishes here. Some quite unusual, so it did take a while to read the menu and figure out what to order. Not all dishes had pictures in the menu. There what I assume was specials on a blackboard. But unfortunately it was written in Chinese. Dishes packed full of flavour. The steamed garlic prawns and salt and chilli squid very fresh and cooked just right. These were our favourite. The minced garlic didn't over power the sweetness of the fresh shelled prawns , the vermicelli noodles underneath soaked up the juices. The juices were so good we added it to our rice. The squid seasoning was so good, light crispy coating. The sweet and sour ribs had a nice tang and not overly sweet . The tofu had a kick to them with the szewan pepper seasoning, thankfully not fresh size peppers. As they get rather spicy. It had just right amount to give you a touch of numbness. I would happily dine here again and try other dishes.

The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the food wasn’t to my expectation. The salt and chilli chicken tasted very nice but the chicken was a odd texture, it was slimey almost and not very appealing. The beef in chilli bowl was disappointing too, poor quality beef in simply a very spicy broth. Perhaps we ordered the wrong things, I wouldn’t rush back.

Enjoyed our lunch here with friends. Although it was busy, we didn't have to wait long for a table. Staff are very pleasant and we were served quickly. Food was very good, although a little expensive and portion sizes small.

Came here for the first time for lunch. To start we got the Garlic Pickled Cucumber. It’s a cold dish but really good for a starter. We then got Braised Aubergine with Rice and Braised Beef Flank soup noodlles, also Red Chilli Oil wontons. Everything was really tasty. Very authentic Chinese food in the west end of Glasgow. So far, it is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have tried. The food was delicious, but the sofas were not comfortable, so we switched to chairs. The atmosphere is not fancy, but if you like Chinese food, I highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back.

The braised pork with pickled vegetables tasted stale. The pickled fish and beef in sour soup are delicious and recommended. The environment is much cleaner than other Chinese restaurants. It's best to isolate the kitchen from the dining area, it's very noisy.

Station kitchen was recommended to me by a classmate from China. Of all the Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in Glasgow it is my favourite. I’ve been several times and tried many dishes. The food is delicious and the portions are really generous which also makes it great value.

I used to work there as a waiter, which was the most awful work experience I have ever had in my life. The chefs always scolded me for being too slow at work and even called me blind many times. (I guess verbal abuse is quite common in this restaurant.) The overall work environment and culture are horrendous and depressing. Most importantly, the hourly wages of most Chinese international students working in this restaurant are below the UK legal minimum wage. In response to your reply, the chef verbally abused me from the trial to the third time at work; most importantly, he did it not because I made any mistakes at work but because I looked at the food orders in the kitchen too closely, so he just called me "blind". Apparently, according to your response, I am an immature and impulsive worker who needs more training in life. Nevertheless, I did my best at work without any complaints or trying to shirk any responsibilities; it was your chef's condescending and belittering words that were discomforting. Anyway, I understand your attempt to endorse your workers irrespective of the truth, and my life does need more training, probably somewhere with a healthy and respected working culture. Thanks for your advice.

An interesting place. Some unusual dishes that seem like authentic, regional cooking - not your typical Chinese by any means. I've liked everything I've tried here but their lamb hotpot is a true stand-out. This restaurant always seems popular and has a lively atmosphere. Can sometimes get a bit busy and noisy - preferred seating makes a difference in these times.

Nice decor, feels modern unlike a lot of other Chinese restaurants in the area. Food options feels a tad bit more limited though, none of the classic roast dishes usually on offer. Music was a little loud but it wasn’t too crowded so would recommend for a chill lunch/dinner.

Been twice now and I'm obsessed with this place, the food is so good. This time we had Hot & Chilli Cauliflower hotpot and Hot & Chilli Frog legs with Sweet & Sour sauce on the side. The menu is a mix of the dishes you'd expect from a Scottish Chinese restraunt and exciting unusal dishes that I've never come across anywhere else. These are probably more authentic. I would advise anyone going to book because twice we just showed up and couldn't get a table, and this was at times I would expect it to be quiet.

Went there on recommendation by Chinese friend and it was worth it. Dishes were tasty. Some of them were really scrumptious. Highly recommend chilli chicken and chips too. Chips were made differently with Chinese style which complimented the flavours of chips further. Tip- book tables oif you don't like waiting in line. On weekdays too there was some line. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was good.

The attitude of the waiter is very bad. There are many vacancies in the store and they tell us that we need to wait for a seat. When we went two months ago, we didn’t need to wait for a seat. I don’t know if this is discriminating against us.

SEE NEWEST PICTURES AND MAKE YOUR OWN MIND UP IF THIS IS RAW CHICKEN OR OTHER MEAT. MANAGER REPLIED THAT IM CONFUSED? HOW INSULTING. Was served this as a type of salt and chilli chicken. If it’s chicken, it’s still pink and therefore a health hazard. If it’s another meat, we were falsely sold tbis as chicken. I pointed it out to the head waitress/manager and her response was ‘is it chicken? It is this colour because it is deep fried’. No offer of a replacement; no offer to take it back to the kitchen; no offer of a partial refund. Two of us stopped eating our meals as both meals contained this meat. Most of it being left The two younger girls waitressing were also looking over at our table and laughing at us for some reason unbeknownst to me. We visited on 17th October around 5.30-6pm and were seated right beside the till point.

Edited review after 2nd visit I tried new dishes this time including my all time favourite dish of 锅包肉 (crispy sweet pork), which was I'm sorry to say, very tasteless. You use the wrong flour for the pork and it tastes more vinegar based than sweet based. We also had 夫妻肺片 which was also quite bland and too much offal. We had another couple of dishes which were quite a let down too. We'd probably not come back based on today's food and the experience didn't live up to the 5 stars I gave on our first visit. *first review* Very enjoyable meal at this newly opened restaurant and the staff are nice and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

作为五级本地向导,对餐厅可能比较苛刻。点了一个排骨粉汤和蒜苔炒肉饭,排骨汤粉的汤头很难喝,排骨倒是不错。蒜苔炒肉的肉很嫩,蒜苔也不老,总体算是四星,但是,服务态度只有1星,我进来坐半天没人给我菜单,我就坐在柜台旁边。 环境条件不错,吃食不算优秀,普普通通水平,我上来就点到了两个缺的菜,总体来说,临时混饭可以,不值得总是来吃

Quiet place to have a nice Chinese meal and lots of choice, more than the average place. Food was nice and flavourful. The stew was more of a soup so just be sure of what is being ordered. Probably my mistake. Decor is a bit simple but surroundings are fine and clean. I will definitely go back soon.
