Cracking little cafe with great coffee.. Been in 3 times this year and each time the service, food and drink have been great

We are completely addicted! Their coffee is The BEST!! Any excuse to drive via Dunchurch to get our coffee fix. Great selection of cakes as well!

Working locally not from the area and just called in to get lunch. I had a Flat White, New York Deli Bagel & a Brownie. The coffee was amazing and the Bagel was the best I’ve ever had. And the Brownie was next level! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended this place top notch🙌🏻🏆

We visit this venue a lot due to the variety of street vendors - excitedly checking each week to see who is next! Most times have been great, but recently we pre-ordered for collection and had to wait in the very cold for 30 minutes. The team kept saying ‘another 5 minutes’ and at no point did they apologise, or even offer a seat or update on how long it may actually take. The food was good but overcooked, which was a surprise given the delay in receiving. The online order site usually works well to let you know an ETA if the order is running late, but this time it said it would be ready on time. I don’t expect businesses to do anything ridiculous, but other local small traders have been more apologetic and given more thought in these situations. Here I did not receive a response to an email about this either. I will continue to return and hope this was just a blip that can be learnt from as they really do bring great food into rugby - but just be careful that you may face a long cold wait with no communication for it.

Lovely little friendly place ! I had a yummy sour dough brie bacon & cranberry toastie! It was perfectly cooked and so tasty and a very generous portion size! Super!

Very nice but i found a hair in my drink and the pumpkin latte tasted of tomato. Other than that its a very lush place

There are no complaints about food & drink at this cafe, however my husband & were completely shocked by the covered outside space. I first went to this 'hidden' area when it first opened. It was delightful. However, when we went yesterday we left as soon as our food arrived. The cushions/seating were dirty, the floor was filthy and the whole area was covered from top to bottom with huge cobwebs. The room obviously hadn't been cleaned for months! Utterly inexcusable for a place that serves food and drink.

The cutest little coffee shop! I love the street food pop ups, but my children love the milkshakes / special hot chocs and new bubble tea! Really great staff, always so friendly to me and my children! The secret garden is an added bonus, and lovely in the Autumn months eating the street food, with the heaters and a little blanket! Would definitely recommend!!

Love love love Square Coffee! If you are a real coffee lover then this is the place to go. Food is fresh and tasty and their pop up nights are always a winner in our house. Parking is easy and free. Great if you want to grab and go or if you want a sit down with friends the garden area is really lovely. Always leave with a baked goodie for the other half! Highly recommended

Very good cakes and coffee made properly with whole milk if you wish, unlike other places that force skimmed on you. Small seating area directly inside is pleasant and there is a somewhat more rustic semi-outdoor area around the side

Absolutely loving the new bubble tea/milk drinks. There's also a cake they sell which is the best I've ever tasted, and I'm not even going to say what it is as it's sold out half the time anyway so I don't want you greedy lot getting it ahead of me haha! It's delicious though! They also do great street food which we've ordered a few times from pop up street food vendors which is fab.

A very small coffee shop that has a pub area and outside seating at the rear, which you get to from outside the shop. Good coffee and a small selection of cakes available with friendly staff.

Popped in Sunday 4th June when visiting family. We had been soon after lockdown when they had a pop up visiting, but this review is purely on Square Coffee. I had an amazing NY bagel with pastrami, rocket, mustard and my wife had a Ham and Cheese toastie. Both were well priced, tasted fantastic and were brought round to us in their Secret Garden. Service was lovely and friendly and if I am passing again I will definitely stop by. Loved it. Oh and the coffee was very good too :)

£5.50 for a cheese toastie with a side of foil. Seems like a poor business model, atleast put some salad leaves on the side. Coffee was good.

Our favourite coffee place in the world. Friendly staff, a secret garden lurking around the back of the shop, different street food vendors every weekend and yummy toasties and bagels on the lunch menu every day. Importantly, also the best coffee in the world. Seriously.

Quickly came in before closing time and barely got greeted by the front girl, and the entire time I ordered she had attitude towards me. I ordered a latte and simple toastie, hoping it wouldn't take long as I was the only customer ordering and had to leave soon. There was 3 of them standing around chatting, showing off pictures of their travels. My sandwhich still wasn't started. After a few minutes of sitting down with my latte, I reminded her it was a takeaway only to be rudely told "we only do takeaways" and then tells me she can't get much faster becausw its in the toaster- she could of started it a few minutes earlier. I was their last customer of the day and they weren't preparing any other orders. The other 2 smiled at me, but the one serving me just kept giving attitude. Finally getting to eat my sandwhich, I found a hair in it. It was melted into the cheese. Sandwhich itself was nothing above average than a grilled cheese sandwich on white bread. Coffee was good though. It looked cute on the outside so was excited to go in, but unfortunately I won't be returning.

Love this place! We mainly go for the takeaways at the weekends but on the days we drive past and it's open we treat ourselves to some snacks. I particularly like the fact you can order online in advance as well. If this lively cafe was open earlier I would definitely stop by on my way to work

We've been to quite a few of eat-in evenings and have always loved it, the food is great, and always a nice way to get something different. It's has a great atmosphere and nice drinks at a reasonable price, not to mention the staff are always really friendly.

Great coffee and cakes served with a smile by the very charming staff, who put up with my bad jokes and blather with infinite patience. Highly recommend.

Not the fastest service, but friendly and efficient with it. Great little hidden garden at the back. Cyclist and runner friendly. Right on the crossroads so easy to get to. Have been several times so definitely passes muster.

We actually visited the Secret Garden for the Malaysian street food. It was good, the place is quirky and nicely done out. We'd go again but would want to go when it was busier

Love the coffee they produce — mild but still with plenty of flavour, just as I like it.

Me and the wife stopped by for a coffee and cake while on a bike ride. The cakes were spot on, staff were friendly and it was nice to out in the sun watching the world go by. We will definitely be going back when we pass through the village next.

Square coffee opened not long before the first lock-down. Throughout the pandemic, they have made smart choices; building the secret garden and covering it in fairy lights, inviting in street food vendors so we're offered a different menu every weekend, using local suppliers for their cakes and bakes, making sure lunch can be ordered online so no waiting necessary. We've loved trying all the different menus! The staff are always chatty and welcoming and the COFFEE! The coffee is honestly the best anywhere. 10 out of 10 from us!

I only use Square Coffee for their weekend guest food vendors, so I can't comment on the coffee and things that they serve. I can say though, that I've had some amazing food at the weekends! Special shout out to Disco Fries. Best thing I've eaten in ages. Stripclub burger was good, along with a wood fired pizza vendor I can't remember the name of. The garden is a nice place to be, all lit up with fairy lights and covered, whilst you bask in the amazing aroma of the food cooked in the outdoor kitchen.

Very friendly staff and customers. A couple of customers asked if I needed them to hold my dogs while I ordered from the shop 😃 Both dogs were given a treat and fuss from the lovely staff. I highly recommend this little place. The coffee and cakes are delicious 😋

Lovely toastie and service for food but unfortunately the girl serving tea was not so nice or very friendly felt like she didn't want to make my tea the way I like it and couldn't even break a smile when I spoke to her.. Felt like she let the whole service down..

This is a fab little coffee shop! I mainly use it when they have guest companies come in and do a take over in the secret garden. The English Indian company do incredible fish and chips and the Brum Mi (photos attached) do amazing Vietnamese Street food. Really easy to book website (albeit I did click the wrong day, messaged immediately and they sorted it via Facebook, they obviously forgot tho and rang me, the girl on the phone said she would "check it" which I did think was a bit snippy but she was polite and upbeat as I'd paid for it so not like I wasn't turning up) but I will forgive them for this as they are usually super nice and the service is good! The garden is a cute little area where you can sit in, not massive but nice in sunny weather I would definitely recommend! This place has made dunchurch a funky little village centre

Really like this coffee shop. Good coffee, snacks. Independent places like these are exactly what Rugby needs! But for me what lets it down is the opening times. Its quite clearly catering to the older demographic in Dunchurch as it shuts by 2pm, which I understand. But it is a shame for people like me who like their afternoon caffeine boost! Maybe you have trialled different things, but it would be nice to see you experiment with the afternoons and see if its worth your while! totally understand if it isn't however, being a small business.

Great coffee and snacks in an unlikely place. Worth checking out if you are in the area. Funky outside decor while building work goes on inside. Very helpful friendly staff.

Brilliant gem. Park here for a nice walk to Draycote Water. The drinks are great and they stock baked brownies. So tasty. Outdoor garden area

Tried again today. Still over 25 minute wait to be served. Why so slow? Then they left our uncovered drinks on the counter and served other customers, who had to literally stand and lean over our drinks to order and pay!! Why not serve orders that are ready when that customer is back at the counter? Won’t be using again, we’ll go up to the little nursery at Solstice next time.

Just parked up seconds before closing time. Most others, particularly the High Street brands would just say "sorry we're closing". Not SQUARE COFFEE. A welcome, smile and two delicious coffees. Highly recommended. Support your local SQUARE. Leave the others alone!!

A tiny coffee shop with little inside seating but great coffee and fantastic cakes. But that is only half the story. A rear garden offers cocktails and more when the weather is clement and a great take-away food menu at the weekends which changes weekly. But, you must order in advance. Be warned, it is very popular and you may have to queue for coffee which says it all.

Lovely little place. Almost £6.00 for two coffees which is a lot given the sizes are very small. Flat white was too frothy and hot chocolate luke warm. The standard is good but not enough to justify the price. They were late opening so we had to wait ten minutes after the opening time. Customer service very average. Would check it out again but given the low footfall they need to up the game to justify the price.

The reason I’m struggling to give up coffee! Lovely staff, cakes & sandwiches, and they do brilliant weekends where they have guest food companies in house.

First experience of this place and what a great first impression! Ordered a takeaway and there was a bit of confusion on the time for collection. It had been prepared for an earlier collection but on arrival the polite waiter immediately arranged to have it made up again. Service was efficient, polite and professional and the food itself was delicious. I really hope this business gets all the support it needs during the current difficult times. I will certainly use their takeaway service again and encourage others to use it and support this local business.

Haven't tried the coffee but the secret garden at the back was cool and they did nice hot dogs

Absolutely fantastic little coffee shop right in the center of Dunchurch... Staff always so professional and polite and coffee is superb... Not had chance to sample the food yet but expect that to be sublime!!!
