Spindler's Cafe in Waveney

Had a superb Sunday lunch today with friends. High quality, excellent value and faultless service. Would not hesitate to recommend and will look forward to returning again soon.

This has to be the best place for breakfast, we visit regularly from Lowestoft as nowhere else cooks a full English breakfast like Spindlers. Staff are wonderful, attentive and give excellent customer service.... Keep doing what you're doing 😊

Been several times for their amazing breakfast offering, clearly a great Chef and excellent front of house management. Coffee is always good and a great selection. Cant wait to come and try the Sunday roast which so many are talking about!

A group of us went for Sunday lunch. The roast was absolutely delicious. Good portions. Crispy roast potatoes fab Yorkshire pudding...100 out of 10

Lovely kind staff. Extremely dog friendly, smashing cup of tea and Sky (dog) was very impressed with the raspberry cookies. Highly recommend.

Can't find chips to take away in Beccles that are not cooked in Beef fat until I found Spindlers!! Lovely fat crispy chips and fluffy on the inside, decent portion( very flling), have I mentioned they do a fab halloumi and mushroom brioche too!!

Service was fantastic, all of the front of house staff were very efficient and polite. The food choices were excellent, there was something on offer to cater the whole family. Food and drink arrived promptly and were delicious. Brilliantly cooked breakfast for us all. Will definitely return.

First time visit It was chocker but we were fitted in, so welcoming, meal to die for. Cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Brilliant coffees, can't fault it, worth every penny.

Been wanting to come here for a while now, always supported this cafe under the previous owners so was looking forward to taking my family for breakfast. Positives first, really nice cafe, some definite improvements in decor under the new owners, very welcoming staff this morning, lovely coffee, probably the best hash browns this side of home made ones and my breakfast was well presented. Unfortunately the full English and pancakes really left me feeling rather deflated. I appreciate chefs like to season but there was far too much black pepper over everything, black pepper is divisive at the best of times, I personally like it but this was excessive, too excessive. Bacon was so crisp you couldn't put a fork in it, again I appreciate some like it crispy, I personally do not, eggs were overcooked, sausages were average and I feel using what appears to be supermarket bread is a let down, so many goods are baked here, maybe I set expectations to high thinking I would get some nice baked bread. Pancakes were OK but tasted burnt. Maybe I'm being harsh but I definitely think Spindlers has all the ingredients to be 5* but they are definitely not there yet, I think if you are going to cook eggs over easy or very crispy bacon maybe ask the customer equally i would back off on the use off black pepper as in my opinion these are all very personal to the consumer.

Wowsers - impressive and we are not easily impressed. After a bit of a bad morning we were heading through Beccles and went in search of a dog friendly breakfast. We spotted a sign not far from the market square so decided to give it a try. We were welcomed into a warm, cosy and well thought out dining environment. I decided on a large GF breakfast. I was literally blown away when it arrived it was huge and so tasty and they had wonderfully substituted the items I couldn’t eat with others, that’s so kind so many places don’t care in that respect. My husband and daughter equally enjoyed theirs. We travel all over the world and this place was truly exceptional for food and service. Our noisy puppy also wanted some of the breakfast. (We gave in to keep her quiet) she is usually very good but this morning she was being a scamp! (Sorry!) Hope to return to Beccles soon so will definately return and will add you to my travel blogs :) thank you! Don’t change you’re doing a fab job!

Cafe has a really nice welcoming feel to it with really nice decor on the inside. The food was absolutely delicious, the chef and his wife have done a lovely job of creating a great menu with lots of choice. I personally recommend the club sandwich which was brilliant value for money, portion sizes were really good. Will definitely be back

My husband took me to Spindlers for Mother's day, this was our second visit. You feel so welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Service is top notch, all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best, really good quality and local products cooked perfectly. All washed down with a fab flat white. We took home some of the home baked goodies off the counter and they were AMAZING, the brownie filled cookie got a big thumbs up from my little boy. Thanks team Spindler's we will definitely be back.

We stopped in for a late Brunch and so glad we did as the food was amazing, cooked perfectly, quality produce, and the best breakfast I have ever had!! The staff were excellent and attentive with nothing being too much trouble. The cafe itself was spotless, and I have to add the chairs themselves were so comfortable, like sitting on a cloud! It is a real gem and a must visit!

Lovely cafe, drinks arrived quickly and food and service was great. Took a rocky road home which the kids enjoyed as much as I did. Can’t wait to go back to try the breakfast.

Wonderful food, generous portions, well presented and being dog and child friendly it feels like home. Lovely staff, my gluten free friend was very happy with hers too. A 3 tier toasted sandwich.... heaven!

We're so pleased that the new owners have returned this business to its former glory. We used to go here many moons ago when it was very popular. In returning, we have found the welcome from staff great. The cafe has a nice ambience. The food is good and we have since been back several times. Lovely experience.

We were passing and thought we would pop into the cafe with our little bubba. Great service and well the food was delicious, couldn’t fault anything! I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly! Our little one made a mess but it didn’t phase them and they are super family friendly!!! The perfect stop :) Deffo be returning :)

WOW!! we got breakfast takeaway from here last week and we were blown away. All the office staff were in agreement that the Ultimate Bap was the best they'd ever tasted- we will definitely be coming again! Thank you!

What an amazing place!! I had the full breakfast and didn’t need to eat again until the evening. Quality ingredients at a price that represents real value for money. The sausage roll, scones and pastries all look amazing as does the lunch and brunch menu....
