Spice Of Life in Fife

Awful. I would have been better saving my money buying a packet of chicken tikka and nan bread from aldi and chucking it together myself. No salad a few sprigs of lettuce and two pieces of onion. We had tried it a few weeks a ago and it was the same when we ordered we did mention about how it was the last time. Trying to give them the benefit of doubt. But NEVER again. Overpriced and horrid my advise is go somewhere else. We didn't realise until tonight that it has changed hands from when we went regularly it was always really nice. Shame 😐

Excellent meal. Prepared on time for our collection. All items were hot and tasty. No complaints whatsoever.

Outrageous to charge £7 each for a tub of korma and masala sauce .. for them to then hang up when i called to question the price. Poor show as the food is actually not too bad. Will not order again.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. overcharged for my order and was spoken to horrendously over the phone, was told that because I phoned up and placed order instead of going online there was a charge for that ..was never told this and it says nothing about this on justeat or on there website! Staff are nothing but rude and food is disgusting and cold !

Restaurant revised time for delivery, extending it 30 minutes (1 hour 30 mins). It was then late by 35 minutes after the revised time. Burger was freezing cold on arrival.

ordered 2 kids pizza, one base was thin and the other was really thick, kids didn't enjoy it. also ordered a cheese burger but it didn't have any cheese on it! less chips than normal also. a bit disappointing.

Order was not correct when first arrived but called and another was sent to rectify

Only good part of the service was the delivery driver, restaurant has recently changed hands won’t be ordering again

Terrible chips burnt, pizza cold just awful

was pleasantly surprised to open the box and see that it wasn’t stacked with as much donner meat as possible and there was a good helping of chunky chicken. food was absolutely perfect to eat aswell

This wee hidden gem is consistently good with service and food. Their chips could do with a review, soggy and tasteless from being in a polystyrene dish, but I don't go here for that. Reasonably priced, and never had an issue with delivery unlike some in the town. They make a good curry and my kids like their pizzas and burgers. Well deserving of the rating.

The food could have been warm as it was cold. I had to heat my kebab up.

Food arrived freezing cold and looked like it was taken from the bucket. Tubs of garlic sauce were half empty and over all just unacceptable!

Good was late but I pre booked prior to opening. A better updating system needed to update timings. Worth the wait food amazing and loads set meal E could feed 4 or even 5. 1st tome used will use again.

Paid for extra toppings of donner meat and I could probably count on one hand the amount of slices there was. Two orders in a row where the note or extras have been ignored. Sort this out

Arrived on time, food was hot, copious amounts. Very good quality food. Lamb was tender, chips were fresh.

Asked for a chicken tikka calzone with no salad would have been aswell ordering a veggie calzone very little chicken in it and the fact there was veg in it. One less customer I'll stick to going else where now

Lovely tasty food and a great price

Food arrived extremely quickly but the Kashmiri korma had absolutely no taste. I could even taste the flavour of the bananas in the curry. The banana fritters were fried in breadcrumbs rather than batter which created a rather unpleasant sensation.

Asked for all chicken as I don't like any other pakora, restaurant didn't comply.

Donner calzone full of donner meat,no spice onions , no sauce etc , not a lot of cheese on top just no taste

Provided 1 hour delivery, but arrived in 20 mins. Food as good as always.

2L bottles of Coke are only 1.75. I know its only 0.25L difference, but they are charging the same amount as other 2L bottles. Other than that, great food as always

Ordered a set meal for two from the just eat menu which was delivered in a timely manner unfortunately it went down hill from there Starter of chicken pakora was edible if a little overdone still it rated as far superior to what the main main we had in store Both my wife and I ordered different curries however other than a sprinkle of nuts they could have been served out of the same pot In many many years eating Indian food good/bad or indifferent I don't think I have ever had a curry which consisted of 75% bell peppers the lamb I ordered must have run off. Because it wasn't present in my meal Message to the chef (sarcasm ) just because you make a curry spicy/ hot does not make it tasty needless to say half the meal ended up in the bin however I did get the full meal when I was reunited with what I had eaten at 3 in the morning Absolutely disgusting I noted the number of 6star reviews with a one line name and no comments perhaps you should concentrate on getting the taste of your food right instead of leaving yourselves good reviews

I'm not sure if I'm too posh or 3x burger deal is just a rip off? Went for chicken burgers and got a buns with plain burger. No lettuce or sauce, dry bun and some meat for 7.70. No option to add any topics indicates it comes at least with some mayo lol ...

Local village outside Dunfermline. Excellent takeaway. Amazing food. Great value. Highly recommended for all ages. Does local deliveries too.

Very disappointed for the first time. Food was cold making most of it.. chips etc, inedible. Donner meat was overcooked and over crispy mostly. Peshwari nan has burnt and charcoal bits on it.

Food burned so called the restaurant.the person who answered was very helpful and agreed to resend burned items. 30 min wait to received fresh items, still slightly burned dry and very very bad quality. Prices are not cheap and refund or even an apology was not offered. Avoid

Just had a pizza from them and based on that, I would definitely recommend them and the delivery was quicker than expected! Restaurant service stars, I am unable to mark as I got home delivery. Also I can't submit this form without all fields being completed.

Very very poor I ordered a donner pizza it was burnt to a crisp the bottom was black I wouldn't even feed it to a starving child in Africa it was that bad even gave the driver a tip but only because I couldn't be bothered waiting for him to count out £4.70 in 5ps "as this is all he had" disgrace!!! I wouldnt even give this place 1* Will not be back!!!

We order from the Spice of Life fairly regularly. Food is always very tasty and the meal deals are excellent value for money. Speedy delivery too which is always good when you have starving kids!

I had asked for no tomato puree on my garlic pizza and also asked for no sweetcorn on my roater booster pizza. Neither happened which was very disappointing

We have had the Chicken curry here and chicken and lamb donner with naan bread.The meals have all been piping hot,very tasty,reasonably priced and served by welcoming staff!

I ordered at roughly 6:30pm, and the estimated delivery was for 7:20 (5 mins were added on for some reason)... it arrived 6:38pm. Literally 8 mins since delivery! Food is always great from there too. Only thing i will say, is the website says 2L coke, and it's actually a 1.75L coke they give you.

Love spice of life! Yesterday, got the large pakora and it was great. Only problem was, I asked for it without salad but got salad, other than that it was great. Every other time i've asked they did it, so i guell i'll let them off the hook this time.

First time I've had a take away delivered and it was still hot, will definitely order from here again.

Disappointed to say the least. Ordered a kebab asked for NO SALAD boom obviously they have sent us food a previous customer had sent back this evening. Order was wrong as it had salad also was freezing cold. No one messes with a fat persons food. Seriously disappointed with the take away.
