Family favourite takeaway in my house cant beat it, had a medium sized pizza certainly a good size for a medium pizza very generous, amazing tomato sauce base and delivery drivers always very kind. Will be ordering again

Never experienced such poor food from here before, garlic nans were disgusting and soggy, poppadoms were sprinkled with I believe curry powder and chips with Chasni sauce was cold and tasted of chemicals! Straight in the bin, very surprised normally ok!

Meat was hard and tough in the Tandoori mixed grill. i could hardly chew it. They must pre-cook the meat on the grill then heat it up when you order food later at night. I've been ordering from Spice of Life for over 20 years. They need to up their game.

ordered a super king munchy box costs over 22 quid. opened it up to find half is filled with chips, other half is filled with pakora. great amount of pakora but then find a tiny box filled with donner meat that would be enough to fill a small kebab. got a bottle of coke instead of one can which is fine but ridiculous youre paying 22 quid for half a 16 inch pizza box full of chips and a tiny amount of donner. called to complain about it and was told donner meat cost 6 quid end of. won't be back

Ordered a 12inch munch box came after a hours wait freezing cold with barley any meat and a full box of chips also paid for a extra can of juice as there are two of us never came either tried to resolve it on the phone but man was very rude and basically told me I’m lying absolute disgraceful service AVOID !!!

You never expect too much from a kebab, but theirs fails even against low expectations. Pitta was doughy & ripped so inedible. Chicken was nice but donner not nice. Pakora seemed like it had been cooked once too many. Also barely edible. Very poor overall. Staff really nice though & quick service.

£ 8 nearly for chips cheese and donner meat in the 1 container and hardly any donner , was really disappointed and also chips were soggy , obv reheated in microwave , fresh chips us not too much to hope for .

Had a 16”inch spicy chicken pizza and 2 chicken pakoras delivered. Food was 1st class! Pizza is on another level, will be back! Well done peeps keep up the great work!

Minging dry kebab salad was just lettuce

There was no cheese on the double cheeseburger and the donner burger was just donner meat on a roll

Food was stone cold, probably because delivery driver took 30 mins to get here when i live 5 mins from the shop.

we were notified delivery was on the way, 30 mins later, food was still not here and just eat app showed it was delivered, phoned the shop, was advised driver just left, food was late and delivered cold.

from getting the alert that my food was on its way it took 35 minutes I stay 5 minutes from the place and when it came it was freezing and possibly the worst food i have ever had. so bad. do not eat from this place. rotten

Got text to say food on way at 9.15…food was received stone cold and when I called restaurant they refused to send a replacement

This was disgusting to say the least. I ordered a donner meat calzone but the meat was wet, rubbery and slimey. I could barely tear it. It was like wet, slimey strips of leather. My stomach turns just thinking about it. Never again. What a waste of money.

Very late delivery, justveat confirmed ut had been deluvered when it hadn't, i called twice to be told it had just left first call and just eat just automatically update app. They said it would be 5 mins second call, eventually arrived 15 mins after that call. Food is normally great, but due to the delay, I had to microwave it, not good.

Driver left delivery outside property without chapping door so dont know how late it was, nor that my meal was delivered, so had no opertuninty to make payment at time off delivery, he then apper at 1155pm demanding payment , and banging on my door until he got an answer, iwas awoken to this banging and thumbing on my door, though someone was try to break the door down. I ask him what he though he was doing bang and thumbing on my door at this time of night, in which he just said payment, payment, not been payed I refused him payment, due to his arrogant manner and demands, he refused to leave without payment, i ask him to leave, and not to bang on my door in that manner again, i closed my door but he contued to bang on my door, I advised if he did leave, I would contact police, for banging on my the door in an aggressive manner and breaching the peace of myself and my naghbours...very very poor, extremely outrageous behaviour for a very disappointing meal, and service. And for 14 pound 50 pence, joke won't be order from their again. And whoever it was that was at my door needed an attiute adjustment.

I have ordered from this restaurant many times and this is the first time I have been disappointed with the food. The Chicken in the Dopiaza was bland, not marinaded and pretty tasteless. This was just sliced chicken breast with a sauce poured on top. There was very little "Indian" in the Indian vegetable curry. The nan bread was dry, doughy and tasteless, while the chapatti could have doubled as a frisbee. Pakora was OK. Extremely disappointing from an outlet I have patronised for years!

This place is ridiculous, i ordered the pizza ask for half mince . Only gave me very little mince and charged extra £3 for toppings. I ask for the green chillies they gave green peppers instead. When I called staff talking rude , this is the last time I ordered. So disappointed

First time trying and by far the Best grill box available in ek. Everything arrived perfectly cooked and fresh. The meat was packaged in a foil bag so the juices didn't run out and make the fries soggy, they remained crispy and light on the inside. Donner meat was thinly sliced and cooked just the right amount. Pitta and naan also nice and fluffy, not too doughy not too burnt. Superb I will only use spice of life from now on

Everthing in the munchie box was very good! nothing was unpleasant and chips were softer and Best to date for this Spice of life the only one I need to trust their very good for maintaining a high standard and my whole box was low in grease and fat which shows to me they care what their preparing and how their cooking and keeping an eye on their standards so Well done Spice of life.

Sorry to say we were disappointed with this order The onion bhaji dings were onion rings? The tikka chicken pakora was overdone and questionable about a reheat Curry and rice combo was not what I expected The rest of the order was fine and quite frankly most of the above went in the bin Overall it was not the standard of previous meals from Spice We have been customers for years Sadly disappointed ☹️
