Pls don’t try this restaurant- Never recommend this restaurant if you get any chance to compliant to authority pls try this restaurant and do the needful- they cheating customers, serving guy is so rude . Never recommend this or you try your luck .

Lovely food. Great value on a Wednesday. £8.95 for 4 courses.

I feel cheated to eat food in this restaurant . Not only about the taste of food, but they charge you £2 extra for each dish , which they didn't mention while ordering the food. There are no computer bills, and they write the bills in paper by pen. So i feel they are charging illegally. The taste of the food is also terrible in taste and not cooked well. and I would not suggest anyone to have food here.

The employee was rude, and there is also a strange policy that forces you to order everything at once. Additionally, whenever we ordered papadum, the manager who took the order stated that the sauce would be complimentary; however, we were still charged separately for a sauce that we did not order. I consider this to be an unreasonable and deceptive policy of the restaurant. I do not recommend visiting this place.

Great choice menu, food fantastic ..tried a few different dishes and all very tasty a family run business and so friendly 👌

I do not write reviews but I had to for this one first Indian restaurant I walked in my life that didn't give poppadoms I wasn't looking for a free food but it's an Indian authenticity, me and my gf order chicken korma,lamb karahie chicken was just a thick patse of coconut and sugar,and the lamb looked like it was taken out of the bin though as Croc sliders, nan bread was chewy dough,zero effort of cooking,no presentation, no atmosphere, poor staff if I could give -10 I actully would it was that bad all the food was left on table we wer hungry but it was a total waste of money I'm a business owner myself and I know what reviews means.

Don't seem to know their prices.. Apparently.. Overcharged.. Again... If you do decide to use this place double check your bill... Portions small.. Meat quality poor

The food was good and the waiter was very talkative but the food took ages to make it to the tables.

The food was tasteless as per expectation compared with the price. The atmosphere was good and the Nan breads was quiet good.

Food and service was first class. Wonderful freshly baked naan was delicious. Only black mark was the background music. 2fm not what is needed. Please sort this out.

Would probably never end up coming here. Horrible customer service and horrible food. Quantity and taste they provide is not at all worth for the price. It's absolutely tasteless. They don't follow the food instructions you specify when you order. I will never recommend this place.

Best Indian restaurant and takeaway in newry. (January 2021) Since I last wrote this review the standard has dropped significantly. Maybe it is a new chef but certainly has dipped in standards October 2021

Mouth watering tandoori chicken

Ordered a Lamb Rogan Josh on Friday night. Very disappointed to find out that the meat used was beef and not lamb.

Went there last night, and had the best curry I have ever had. Will definitely be back.

Wife loves the vindaloo there, restaurant and take away service available. They will take phone orders and deliver too. Can take card payments. They will be moving soon from their site on Monaghan Street to Corn Market , Newry.

Good food but I can't believe they charge for poppadoms

First time at Spice of India. Food is cooked fresh and well worth the wait. I can understand why it is busy. Wide menu and friendly staff. Definitely worth a trip if you haven’t been!

Normally on time with delivery and always very tasty but was told 40 min hour and half food arrived and was cold.

Bit pricey but the food is class

Updating my 5 stars to 2. Entitled to a 20% discount due to a paid membership card. Had to argue to get it. Young guy at counter would charge you for a jug of water and fresh air if he could get away with it. Not happy!!! Place was better before he took over at the counter. Plus he is 'zero' craic in comparison to previous staff. Previous. Best Indian food in the town, whether in or takeout.

I've passed this place so many times but have never been in... What have I been missing all this time??? Good prices and fast efficient service! The food is full of authentic Indian flavour! (trust me, I know I lived in Leicesttteer for years) I will definitely be back!
