Gunturmirchi in Newry and Mourne

the box with the lamb and chicken and pork was cold. 1 was burnt and dry the other was of could smell it. the kebab was ok cud do more chicken. the chips looked good but they weren't nice... the tin of coke was good but warm.

After using this indian takeaway numerous times, I ordered a delivery of my usual order only to be sent completely different dishes, when I rang to ask for it to be rectified, the person on the phone was rude and ignorant and said there was nothing wrong with it and we were lying. Won't be back. Avoid getting deliveries from here, order in person.

The curry was bland, the naan bread dry and flavourless and the chicken rice very spicy and mushy.

The food was quite poor, the naan dry and tasteless and the butter chicken very bland. The chicken fried rice was very spicy and a little mushy. Delivery was very expensive and I won’t order again.

Lovely food and prompt delivery but when you're paying £12 for a curry you'd expect pilau rice to be included and not an additional cost. The only Indian takeaway in the town that doesn't include rice with your dish.

Ordered from here a couple of times. Food is usually okay but they always forget something from my delivery, 2 times now it’s been my cans of coke, a set a popadom and dip, or chips. Last popadom was stale, some nights food is very good, you just never know 💁🏻‍♀️

ordered a kebab meal (kebab, drink, and chips) i got a chicken tikka , and was surprised it was only £10 ! phenomenal quality and taste , packed to the brim with food, def will be ordering again and trying other stuff on the menu

Bhuna was creamy, unlike any I’ve ever had in my life with less than 6 pieces/ cubes of chicken in it . Overpriced and poor quality . Likewise aloo sag was very creamy not like any I’d had before . Meat in mixed tandoori special dry and hard.

we had an ABYSMAL experience with this delivery... the food was dismal and the delivery driver was ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL. He was beyond rude asked for extra on the delivery charge after I had paid a delivery charge on the app. utterly disappointed all round. was NOT worth.

Great food, but when it arrived at my door I was told there was a two pound added charge for delivery- even though I have already paid delivery. I have ordered many times and this has never happend, just confused- please state on your subtotal the final charge instead of asking for extra on delivery. Amazing food!

Chef was VERY heavy handed with the spice tonight! I couldn't finish my tikka masala and even my husbands korma had a kick to it! it's a shame because the quality is usually amazing! Please back off the chilli 🌶 😫

ordered from just eat and paid for delivery in app to then be told when the food was delivered that it's an extra £4 delivery and that if I don't want to pay then don't order again. very disappointed in this as I had already paid the delivery fee on just eat as the restaurant said they delivered to my address

I’m not happy paying extra charge for delivery while I’m already paying 3.50£ . When enquired about this, the store assistant was impolite and impatient to address my enquiry for last order. For my recent order they charged extra 4 pound for delivery as well. When I’m paying something I want that to be shown on the receipt or shown/ instructed before the order has been placed, not at the door step not while the order is preparing. Mentioning about extra charges while placing through app helps.

Ordered food via Uber eats, they called said it will be extra £4 for delivery, I said cancel and refund, they said ok. Guess who never got a refund? Yup, they kept all the money and I got nothing. Way to go!

10" Munchy Box - should be 4 different meats. I got mostly lamb meat (probably the cheapest one) on naan bread with full of chips, 2 small pieces of chicken, 3 little crispy balls maximum 1.5cm (even dont know what was that). Where is rest of chicken meat?! Missing salad. And for that, I found black hair in garlic sauce. First and last time! Never again!!! Keep away!

Such a shame the minimum is 1 star because this place DEFINITELY deserves 0 stars. TERRIBLE customer service, ordered through just eat for a family member and got a call from the restaurant asking me to pay £4 MORE delivery fee (so £7.50 delivery fee total) either over the phone or in cash to the delivery driver which seemed very suspicious. The reason they gave was that the address was over 3 miles away from the place. When I questioned why they were doing this they hung up on me. I called again to ask for the managers name and to confirm that the order would be cancelled and my money would be given back to me (as just eat had already taken my money and would not let me cancel my order since they had already accepted it on their end) and after being lied to that the manager was not there, I finally spoke to him. He proceeded to shout at me and tell me to do whatever I want and to talk to JustEat and that he wasn’t gonna do anything as if it was my fault? He then hung up on me again. Customer service really was abysmal. If they think they’re gonna make it big time by shouting at customers they are obviously clearly mistaken. I hope this place closes down, with the way they are treating people they don’t deserve to stay open. Apparently the managers name was Ravi? What an insane man… And his employees are no better either!!

Ordered at 5.37, had estimated time of 6.45 to 7pm delivery. then it changed to 7.20. called resturant twice as food had been marked as delivered just after 7 they advised they were waiting on driver. 7.45 delivery driver comes and tells us we owe him a further £4 and he tried to call twice. told him we in fact called twice and delivery charge was ready paid.

Thai Green chicken curry with added prawns has no chicken in it, and for that price it should come with rice! Sauce very greasy and thick. I'm not happy at all

Plain naan, chicken tikka masala (no rice) and popadoms is all you need. Absolutely lovely.

Waited almost 2hours for our food… Asked for Salad,Garlic and Chilli on 2 Kebab Munchboxes and both sauces on a Lg Doner Chip was sent a tiny bag of salad, 2 very tiny tubs of chilli and 1 small tub of garlic to do all 3… not enough sauce to do these an food wasn’t warm… highly disappointed doubt I’ll be ordering again!

Ordered a chicken tikka pizza with paneer. It was so delicious and 😋😋😋. I would be ordering again. Highly recommend. Have tried all the varieties here. The food is fabulous ❤️

Portions to small not worthit money paid. Ordered chicken with extra prawn get only prawn 400ml of sauce and only six prawns for 13.50£ no chance to order again. Other order was lamb in 400 ml of sauce i need fishing lamb and get only one table spoon of lamb for 11£ worst food experience on just eat app

Great communication from the side of the restaurant staff regarding delivery charges, please bear in mind they may add few pounds extra depending o' the area, but, honestly, this isn't something major. Food is delicious if you are out and about or just enjoying a minute of laziness after busy time you have spent somewhere during the day, this guys are definitely getting you covered. Thanks, will be back to you for some more "yums" next time 👍

Found every dish I have tried here of a very good standard, always plenty of everything and their sauces are deep in flavour too. Is my go-to place for my Indian cuisine all the time. Would highly recommend. Have told friends about their extensive vegetarian range also, which is the best around.

Food was absolutely amazing. Piping hot, everything wrapped separately and marked what is what. Delivery man came much earlier than it was expected which was brilliant and he was cool AF as I’ve asked not to knock but beep the horn. I highly recommend this take away. 😊

Never disappoints, as always a lovely bit of food.

The lamb bhuna sauce and cauliflower in the aloo Gobi both tasted frozen. All the side dishes tastes the same. It was hard to tell the difference between the Bombay aloo and the chana masala!
