Dong Fang Asian Fusion in Newry and Mourne

the foods good, my go to chinese. only gotten delivery a few times and last two times rang up and asked for them to ring when outside and specifically not to knock as there’s a baby in the house and the last time they woke her up by knocking after being asked to. i explained this today when rang up and provided a number and said i would keep an eye out for them, even after telling them the delivery driver still got straight out of the car and knocked on the door, literally ran after him and said i asked not to knock and he did apologise but i think the service could be improved, worked in a chinese before and its not hard!

Shocking service absolutely would not recommend. Ordered through Just Eat as we had previously done and had received telephone calls on these occasions asking for directions and to be told delivery charge would be higher due to being a little further away from them. (We are 3.5miles from this place). Waiting over 1.5hours after the tracking updates said food was on the way to ring and check a time for delivery. Spoke to an incredibly rude manager who said it wasn't her problem, claimed she had cancelled the order because we were too far away (even though we told her the tracking updates said different). Asked if on this one occasion since we had already paid for the order that they could honour it and we would pay the extra delivery on arrival as we had been asked to do previously. More or less laughed down the phone and told us no way, and told us it was up to us to sort a refund with Just Eat. Shocking customer service and happy to take the payment quickly enough for orders but not so keen to provide a refund.

Definitely would not recommend. Customer service is awful

Visiting a friend and got some food in there, 1st off on that food was lovely and big portions! But extra props to the staff, especially the lady behind the counter (forgot ask name sorry) I left my wallet on the couch after paying and she was trying to find me on Facebook and everything which many places/people wouldn't bother to get it back to me before I rang them to check was it there So def be back in when head up there next

Just out of this restaurant/ takeaway but had to write this - I experienced a very very poor customer service from top to bottom. To make matters worse the receptionist or even head chef (Katiey) could not explain the menu even after cooking up the wrong meal for the customer, not apologies whatsoever. Having been in Asia couple of times, it’s worth mentioning this isn't the place to go. Got a Dong Fang combo and it was way too salty. Not to mention the price - give this place a miss, NEVER AGAIN!!

Ordered a sushi bento box and I got tempura prawns and burnt chicken and rice for the same price. If you don’t have something take it out of menu. Not stuff full of oil. First and last order from this place. Waste of money. No sushi.

Such a lovely Chinese place, the service there is brilliant and fast service. The food is tasty but there’s better Chineses, I feel it tasted bland and could be better/improved. We sat in, I got a sweet chilly chicken, my woman got chicken chow mein and we drank 2 diet coke cans which came to £31 in total. The price varies if your sitting in or take away. Take away is cheaper.

Food was 10/10 from presentation to taste. Definitely recommend

We went to this wee place on our travels, and when we went in and were greeted by our server. We sat down and looked at the menu. He asked me what i wanted to drink, and i said a coke , and he left without asking my friend what they wanted. He came back, and i said you never asked my friend if he wanted a drink ! He came back with another coke, and he asked me what would i like to order ....so i told him and he left again without asking my friend what he wanted. He came with my order, and we just gave up and i aked him for 2 plates so we could share, and he ....2 plates!!! Like he was in shock or something.. Very strange wee place .

Just out of this restaurant and haven't reviewed a place before but had to write this - have lived in Asia for a year so love authentic Asian food and this isn't the place to go. Got a Katsu bento box and Vegetable dumplings, there was a hair in my rice and the miso soup had absolutely no flavour. The dish the prawn crackers was served in was covered in grease and wasn't even clean. Not to mention the price - if you are looking for authentic Japanese food I recommend atami in Dundalk, give this place a miss.

Very good.. I have ordered out of here twice approximately a month apart.. The first time was just OK, but tonight it was great.. We ordered a chicken Curry and sweet and sour chicken balls. The curry was perfect, both in flavour and consistency, the chiken in the curry was also perfect. As for the chicken balls, they were cooked perfectly too - crispy on the outside, yet chicken still perfect inside (not dry or oveercooked). I only ever leave reviews if very bad or very good, and I'm pleased to say tonight it was the latter.. Job well done tonight.!!

If you're familiar with Asian food, I would give it a miss. There's no flavour at all. Very expensive for what it is. Even Tesco sushis are better. Service is very slow ... I don't like to give bad reviews but Im very disappointed

After an error last night with an online order,the management were great and made up for it today.Enjoyed a tasty meal courtesy of Dong Fang and a follow up call to explain what happened.Excellent customer service from all concerned.

Amazing! Came for some sushi and chilly chicken balls. Had to return to order more chicken balls. The sushi were amazing as well, very tasty. All presented beautifully. Will come back again.

Top class green special thai curry

Foods pretty good, but the wait for food even after ordering over the phone is too long. Food sits for a while before you get it and gets cold by the time you get home. Service in general could be better and the sit down restaurant part is not well set up with little to no atmosphere

Ordered the Spring rolls, and I felt sick 30 minutes later. I don't believe it was chicken. The tast and texture were not consistent. Very disappointing.

Excellent food, Very friendly staff, 5 out of 5

Everything was very tasty. I am not a japanese food expert but noodles and sashimi were one of the best I ever had.
