I wanted to try naga donner as ive heard so much.I arrived here and placed a phone order for naga donner in nan and a side order of chips. I was told 10 minutes, I went in few people about lovely vibe of people eating etc.. charged £9. I must say since I've never tried this it was on the hot side 🌶 😂 I will be going again no doubt and try something else. Any recommendations

order not arrived and on app says delivered called the store, no assurance and said to contact just eat want refund for order

Known for lamb doner however the quality is now rubbish, portions are much smaller and price significantly increased.

Tried their chicken wings that were great a bit spicy as compared to other chicken shops. Had their chicken doner that was quite spicy but I like it that way, enjoyed the meal one good thing is that they are not serving coca cola or Pepsi etc 👍👍

We been here with my husband and our son, very kind staff they have the best knowledge how to serve a customer, and everything was very nice . Food is fresh...shop is very clean. Definitely coming back another time ... when they ask you want extra spice... they mean it ... it's spicy 😋 I love it

There was Hardly no meat and I only had sause and rice it wasn’t very hot it could have been more spicy

Dhall was not as much as I usually recieve. the briyani was too salty and some of the rice was very crunchy...not nice at all

Ordered B meal- lamb donar with chips and nan and Chicken Tikka Biryani.. both very nice with lot of flavour and fresh. They have done new lighting so looks very nice. Would recommend highly. Customer service excellent

the food was cold when we received it, the lamb doner had nearly one large bottle of oil, I could probably cook a curry with the oil that was dripping from it. the doner was cut by someone who doesn't have a clue, a few thick pieces and few thin, im never order from this spice hut again.

This is one of the most awful restaurant I've ever went to! The lamb tikka and the tandoori lamb chops that we ordered was undercooked and my sister was about to choke!! The tandoori chicken was served cold, yet although we complained they just did nothing whatsoever. And since we ordered a medium platter, no drinks were served. Never coming to this place again.

Okay so the customer service was okay but the food quality, not so great. Me and my family went ahead and ordered some fried chicken wings and kebabs. When the food arrived, the kebabs looked burnt and tasted old. However, when i was munching on the wings i suddenly noticed something poking out and it was stuck inside the chicken. I pulled it out to discover there was a small piece of metal wire in my food! I was disgusted and told my dad and he just when to the worker showed them it quietly because he didn't want to be rude and create a scene. I will never go back there...

I asked the boy to wrap my chapati in foil, but he said we give this in a plastic bag and too small & expensive chapati

Worst food and worst place for eating with stale food and pathetic service of the staff. NEVER GO THERE TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. NEVER RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE AT ALL.

Went there and ordered a dinner meal and took it home to eat and ate a little bit of it to see a hair in it. It was long dark and disgusting, honestly made me sick and vomit, needed up throwing the whole thing away. Got food poisoning from it the next day never again absolutely disgusting 🤢. Stay away for your safety.

Worst experience 🤮 I have ordered peri peri chicken full after some time when I got my food I have noticed that there was plastic bag and when I went to staff they said it’s polythene so here the story is the full chicken comes with four pieces they are say we will give another piece ? I have asked them question it’s plastic and you cooked on heat so you assure us that plastic was not mixed with food when you put on heat and then they were rude ? I have been to many restaurants but I never experienced such behaviour from the one of the staff . I hope shop manager see this review and it won’t repeat for someone else .. Thank you

Food came late, went to boss man and asked where it was. Waited patiently for about 30 minutes and everyone else in my group got the food, and they were almost finished as well. Yet I never got mine. When asked, I received horrible customer service and when the food came it was disgusting. Doner wasn’t nice, chips had a horrible after taste. Only thing was nice was the drink, and that was a coke.

If you want a belly ache next day, this is the right place to go to. Honestly the worst belly ache ever. Had to use the rest room more than 8 times.

Ordered Chicken Tikka biryani via uber eats ..it's not biryani it tasted like fried rice ..After eating felt uneasy in stomach ...not at all good

I had bought some chicken wings from this it’s very good ever I had tasted if you people are near by to Ilford and want to taste something good which cheap price you can come and taste here I recommend grill and chicken doner the most here and service is also ver good actually

They are clearly not covering their hair when making food. Got lamb doner with naan. Takeaway. Whilst eating, I found a very long hair (around 15cm) inside my naan which I bit into. Very disgusting. Won’t be returning. The food was good. Portion size is also good. But the hygiene has ruined it for me.

The Naga wings here are some of the best I’ve had. The staff here are very friendly too, and the place was clean. Will be visiting again soon

Avoid this place! Me and my partner ordered the donner meal and asked for hot but it was extra hot! The biryani and Channa curry that comes with it seemed like it was just tossed in curry powder. It left us being and feeling physically sick. My stomach is burning and we both got an upset stomach. We normally order from the Stepney Green branch and haven’t had a bad experience like that yet so thought this branch will be the same or very similar. I previously ordered donner from here (ilford branch) and it was bad too but I gave the benefit of the doubt , they gave it with shatkora even though I asked for a basic lamb donner! Never again guys! Save yourself from being sick

This place need to train the person who makes the Doner Kebabs. I am a regular customer at this branch and am really not happy with their customer service. I purchased couple of doner kebabs and requested medium spice. After taking few bites at home we realised that it was nowhere mear medium spice and was in fact extra hot. We ended up chucking it in the bin. I called the shop and instead of apologising the person on the other side started giving excuses like some customers think medium spice is not hot so they make it spicy. What a rubbish excuse. This is not the first time I've experienced this and in the past I let it slide. I spent almost £25.00 on my order which was Not edible. Shame on their staff. I will not be returning.

Great place to grab food. Fast service and good customers service. But the price of the meals are getting ridiculous. That might be more to do with the current financial situation than the owner trying to make more money. It's quite unfortunate...

I placed an order for extra hot chicken tikka byriani. Please were they taking the Mick? Any comments ? Look close up . That was for one portion of rice . All that chillie and Naga . Am Shocked and disgusted .

Very poor quality of food. We have been fans of Spice Hut (Mile End) for years, driving regularly from NW London for a feast. Would not ever step into this place again sadly.

The worst wings I have ever tried, staff are veryyyyy rude.

I have bought 3 doner kebab and some wings tonight around 7pm. I'm a regular customer ,but tonight food weren't good enough spicy wings looked like been there for too long, possibly overnight left over, looked dirty dark in colour, chips were soggy cooked for too long. Every time I visit i see new staff members they're not experienced to fry chips 😒 very disappointed. Waist of money.

Although the food cost is cheap, the person who is taking the orders is always chewing tobacco and it's really disgusting to see.

Ordered through ubereats and it was NOT worth it. The firni spilt all inside the bag. The chips were stale, they gave a tablespoon of salad it was actually ridiculous, the doner had no taste.

I got very poor service... 2 of the staffs treated me very badly.. I just asked about the chilli sauce.. i got bit confused about the sauce with the KM3 meal ,the tone of reply was rude.. Night shift staffs are very poor.. and poor service which i have experienced..

I placed an order through UberEats, the estimated delivery time changed 4 times, I waited more than one and a half hours to receive my food. This was an issue with the restaurant itself and not the delivery driver. I called the restaurant and they said that my order was ready and waiting to be collected by the delivery driver who was apparently not there yet. So I hung up and called the delivery driver straight away, he informed me that he had been waiting at the shop for over half an hour and that the restaurant kept delaying the order. I told him to hand it over to one of the workers at the restaurant and the same guy I had spoken to earlier from the restaurant answered. He had lied without hesitation because I heard him say to his colleague in Bengali that they hadn't even started my order yet. Almost 2 hours after placing my order I finally received it only to find out that they had got my order completely wrong. I would not have posted this review but I absolutely cannot stand being lied to. Absolutely disgracefully service. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Will not be ordering from this shop again.

Not the first time I’ve been here and to be honest The donna kebabs are okay as for the Fried chicken Let me say for a fried chicken shop they don’t do very good fried chicken wings and chicken or they leave it too Long past the holding time after they’ve cooked it Every time I get the wings they are bone dry not the best hot wings

Can't go wrong in general. Good fast food place - one of many Spice Hut branches. Probably famous for their Spicy Lamb Doner and Chicken Tikka Biryani. Their Hot Wings, Chicken Fillet burger was on par with other Spice Hut branches but the chicken Tikka Biryani wasn't quite up to the mark. Biryani was dry and they were rather stingy with the chicken Tikka. Overall, not the best or the worst fast food place - sit comfortably somewhere in the middle.

I was holding my Bike Helemment and I asked for Toilet and the man with large beard reply me that "its only for customer" He so rude and no Communication skills, the taste is Good But the staff need Improvement

They tried to serve me some old chicken that looked about a week old. Then took about 30 minutes to make some fresh chicken.The staff look like they couldn't care less either. Don't think i will ever return tbh.

Food was ok, meat curry was very delicious, prawn byriani was tasteless. Food is very overpriced but place was clean. Staff were arguing which was not a nice experience while we were eying in.

Very poor customer service ! Yesterday after telling the chap NO SPICE in the 3 donors we ordered they completly floodeed it with chilli. I called them back straight away and was told the chef made a mistake “keep that order and we will replace your complete order at no charge” I told them ill be back next day. Got there and im being told to pay full price first, then half price as ive turned round to walk out the boss said “ ah come take it then” so i replied on my way out. Keep it ! Lol i mean come on. Be profesional and truthful at the least Very disapointed as it was a regular spot for me. Guess that was my last time !

Food is good, very clean restaurant, wash room is very clean and fully equipped. I visited many ilford lane restaurants but most of them not maintained and left like Haveli restaurant are all dirty. Menu and price are very reasonable.

I love spice hut from my usual place. This ilford lane is not up to standard. Its cakled fast food shop, once i ordered i had to wait 25 minutes in the shop. Everytime i asked the man hust says" its getting prepared " They were arguing shouting amongst themselves about pitty things. Its not like it was busy. After receiving the food we had upset stomach again. Never will i go there again.....

This spice hut is known for its tikka biryani. Make sure the brother with the long beard makes it for you his got the touch. Mas shaa Allah

Generally I'd say the food is okay but on a Saturday id assume they would have a busy night (which they did) but the food that we collected unfortunately was not up to the correct standards. Not your favourite lamb donner. As if they couldn't be bothered or didnt have enough time to cook it through properly.

Nice Food, and affordable. The Kebab was very clean (not greasy) would recommend.

Worst experience of any Spice Hut I've had. So I ordered a Big Maq Meal (meal m4) I got a tiny child sized double Cheeseburger. I informed the guy at the counter he gave me a double Cheeseburger. The guy tells me they don't have the middle bun they have in big Maq has so he's given me a standard burger. So I asked him, why did he charge me for a big Maq which was 50p more? He knew I was talking the truth but didn't want to admit. He ended up giving me 50p back, but he then went and started moaning in the kitchen. I could hear him. The kitchen looked grimey and the staff certainly looked like they walked into work with the same clothes they been wearing the whole month. Honest opinion. Biryani we had spot on though, tasty and v spicy. Only plus point.

Welcome to Redbridge Spice Hut!!! I'm so pleased that we have a Spice Hut on Ilford Lane, the food is delicious and spicy, from hot wings to lamb doner to delicious burgers this place has it all. Freshly made daily food, good quality and hygiene and customer service. This Spice Hut also do private catering for your small events whether it a mehndi, birthday, graduation, new born celebration meal. I recently had them cater for a home birthday event for around 15-20ppl . I ordered bengali style roast chicken curry with lamb akhni rice (type of biriani), they also provided salad and sauces. The food was so delicious,  they followed our instructions for light spice due to children armour parties however can cater to your taste and spice level. The food was freshly made, hot and delicious, our guests enjoyed it so much and that's how to make your event standout with good food. Spice Hut Ilford Lane you did a top job, thank you so much and of course your fully reccomended from me and my family and friends. Anyone reading this review, consider them for your small parties the food is amazing!!!

Had a great experience food was absolutely tasty.

They don't tell you that a "whole" chicken is NOT A WHOLE CHICKEN it's 4 leg pieces.! And they charge £11.00 4 leg pieces. No prior warning but WHOLE chicken is advertised. I'd rate ZERO if I could. No

This branch always mess up your orders. This time they forgot the wings with my order. The green lane branch is much better.

One of the best Lamb Doners in the area.

I mean it wasn’t bad.. and it’s very cheap and you get large portion sizes however defo over hyped, and yes the naga Donner is next level spicy! Glad I’ve ticked it off the list. Also the guy who served us was next level moody, and had 0 customer service fix up.. read other reviews on google and can see I’m not the only one who had this. Maybe it’s just the Ilford Lane Branch who knows! Also we asked for tissues and got given literally 1, no need to be so tight for some tissues!!

I never had this much rubbish Grill chicken from anywhere in ilford , that this shop is selling! Complete waste of money and horrible cooking! Just coloured & uncooked chicken that’s what I got !

I'd give zero stars if was was available, ordered over the phone for collection, they said collect in 15 to 20 min, I arrived approximately 20-25 later, however, wasn't ready, they also over charged me, saying that it's the new menu price (which they didn't have) but even the with new menu price they overcahged

Had 2 meals, lamb doner kabab and 2 peace meal. Lamb doner was really good but the chicken was not properly crooked. Really unlike any other chicken shop.
