Spice Fusion Indian Restaurant in Powys

This is our second visit here now and the food is absolutely delicious! Staff very friendly and helpful and chef is excellent!! Will definitely return!

It's our local Indian restaurant. Its got the tastiest cuisine, nothing is to much for the owner head chef to recommend and cook. The staff are welcoming and polite.

We called into Spice Fusion as we fancied a treat and, having read the previous good reviews, we were not disappointed. The food was lovely and very tasty, and the service was quick and efficient. There was lots of choice and when our food came the portion sizes were great. We were very pleased and will definitely be returning again!!

Yet another great meal at Spice Fusion. Went with wife and friends. It was friends first time and everyone loved their food. The vegetable Ceylon was wonderful and my nargis kebab, tarka dhall, keema rice was perfect. We have visited several times in the past and will continue to do so. Food is always excellent.

Excellent evening with excellent food & service. Authentic Bangladeshi cuisine,there's an extensive menu,the chef came & spoke to us about the dishes. Located in the centre of Welshpool with a large car park close by. Welcoming and friendly service, great atmosphere. Taking your own drinks,with glasses provided, make this a great value night out.

Nipped in as our hotel had stopped serving, although no alcohol licence it’s really well worth trying, the food was so different and nothing like any Indian restaurant I’d ever been in (and I’ve tried a few!) large portions and really delicious meal, highly recommended!

Found this place by chance as it was late and they were still serving food. Service was perfect and the chef even came out to say hello. Great size portions and poppadom dip selection.

Only came here by chance as everywhere else had stopped serving food. Staff were so friendly and attentive, great service. Good amount of dips for the popadoms too. Good value for money :)

What a fantastic evening- the food was amazing. We were a table of 5 and everyone agreed how good the food was. The owner came out to check if everything was ok which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend a visit if you have not been.

Visited Sept 23 whilst on holiday in the area. Absolutely delicious food. It was the best curry I've had in a long time. Everything was piping hot and served really quickly. Service was spot on. Highly recommended. We parked in Morrisons just round the corner.

Food was nice, but the service was extremely slow and inattentive. There were a lot of us, but the rest of the restaurant was empty, so I don't know how it took 1h30 for our starters to arrive, then another hour for our mains. We kept having to ask for extra tap water too, with only one bottle for the whole table.

Visited for a meal on our last night in Wales. Food was cooked beautifully and really tasty. Staff were attentive and friendly, restaurant was lovely and clean. Can take own drinks but had soft drinks for sale. Thank you for an amazing meal, we will certainly return again.

I stopped off for something to eat on a long journey. Spice Fusion is conveniently located in the cetre of town near the main roads. The food is very good. I really enjoyed the meal I had. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is not licensed which was not a problem for me since I was driving.

Spice Fusion was a favourite of ours a few years back, but we got out of the habit of going over lockdown. It was such a pleasure to return - the cooking is better than ever and the prices are still reasonable. We had very tasty sag aloo & tarka dal and generous portions of chicken bhuna and tandoori king prawn masala. The service is friendly and efficient too. We won’t leave it so long till we return!

Superb food and service. I recommend the chicken chaat for starters. Front of house gentleman was extremely pleasant and welcoming. It was wonderful to hear about his journey to open this restaurant. Highly recommend.

Four of us each booked a different meal. Meals came within 30 minutes and were all excellent, amongst the best Indian meals we have ever had. No alcohol licence but this didn't bother us. Highly recommended.

We stumbled across the Spice Fusion restaurant whilst staying in Welshpool overnight. On arrival the restaurant was empty. The menu was varied and we ordered from the specialty section. Despite our trepidations of being the only people in the place the food was amazing! Well cooked and presented. Definitely recommended ☺️

We went to celebrate a family birthday, so we obviously took our own atmosphere! The food was excellent, and the staff was attentive but not in your face. Took our own birthday cake, which was discussed beforehand, and they provided plates and utensils. Within the group, we had a coeliac and another with food allergies, so it was not the easiest group to cater for, all done with no fuss, and everyone enjoyed their food! The food was great, with some inspiring Bangladesh dishes, as well as traditional indian choices. Portions were excellent, and the food was truly amazing. Very poor indeed as it was...... Highly recommended by friends.. But it was such a disappointment!!! We had poppadoms and chutneys to start and they left us over an hour and a half... Then they asked if we wanted any mains. and I think if we hadn't of asked we would still have been sat there now... The takeaway service was great for them they seemed to concentrate more on the takeaway orders then people sitting in the restaurant. When the main event eventually came it was luke warm the lamb was chewy and portion size were small.And was so extremely overpriced £1.25 for each poppadom £2.50 for an orange juice out of a 0.60p carton. The whole bill was nearly £100 for 4 people 1 poppadom each a rice and a curry each and a bowl of chips. So as to say we won't be eating in there again if I could give the review a - 1 star rating I would absolutely awful.....

Amazing restaurant, really nice food, butterfly prawn and mixed kebab starts excellent. Mains of chicken chat and chicken shashlik too, light garlic nan and tasty rice. Big plus BYOB, handy Premier shop if you've forgotten. Ali (covering from Newtown) a great host. If it were closer we'd be regulars.

Hands down best Indian around Welshpool. The food was amazing and the service was fab. Loads of takeaways called in while were there but didn’t compromise our experience. There were four of us and all agreed it was the tastiest we’d had in ages.
