We did get a message apologising for the delay. The food was great so the wait was worth while.

Food is amazing, delivery is getting later

Food was 'ok', but bland for a madras and was cold. Price on Tuesday was good

Ordered on Deliveroo more than an hour back and cannot get in touch with the restaurant as number keeps going to voicemail

Order was late apparently due to traffic, everything was cold we had to warm every thing up. Very surprised as spice cube has always been good before.

Food ordered at 18:00 on Saturday and never arrived. Tried to contact both numbers they advertise online with one going direct to a voicemail and the other no longer in use. Order was placed via the app and confirmed on email. Even better than not getting any food delivered they proceeded to take payment as we couldn’t get hold of them for an authorisation code to cancel the payment with the bank. Will never order from here again and will also share this experience with friends and family so they are not left disappointed and out of pocket. Disgraceful way to run a business.

Food took 30mins longer to be delivered than the time stated. Ordered buttered chicken but received a Korma with ‘buttered chicken’ on the lid. Keema naan had no flavour, and was cold. Tikka masala was very grainy. No mention of coconut in the description. Was not worth the wait- Would not use again.

no nan bread delivered from the order so now I will have to try and get a refund which will take my time to sort out!!! and veg curry for biriani a lot hotter than medium

We reordered our food at 18:57 for delivery at 20:00, order was over 20mins late. I know this isn't a massive delay but no contact to inform us of delay. Food sadly was luke warm, poppadoms were ok though.

unfortunately the delivery was 40 mins late which meant the food was just about luke warm. zero communication from the restaurant to say its running late until i chased them. normally quite good food wise but let down by this order unfortunately.

Ordered from Uber. They don't usually travel this far, which was a mistake on Uber's part, they delivered though. Absolutely great service. Food is delicious and hot. Just missing the chutneys and salads that you would usually get included. Other than that. Can't complain

Over an hour and a half until the curry came 200 yards down the road. Ordered as estimated 20-30 mins, after an hour getting annoyed... Got a refund. Never again. Also see they only have 2* hygiene so glad I never ate it.

Food was great just very late I requested delivery at 17.25. I hade a text saying it would be late 17.55, . I reported it was late to the restaurant direct at 18.05 and was told it was on the way. It finally turned up at 18.25.

Ordered onion salad and a regular salad came also the mint sauce was a quarter full that smelt very off and tasted sour . I am a regular customer I was surprised by this it’s not the first time there’s been missing things in the order

delivery late. queried on just eat who gave an update food had already been delivered when it hadn't . called restaurant, hung up at first, when they did answer said it would be three minutes, a further 15 minutes until delivery. chapati was burned but folded to hide the burn. both dishes oozed water.... how do you get water leaking from a keema fried rice. not worth the money eye and will never order again

3everthing cold no onions salads no spices red sauce or mango chutney an absolute failure of service was unable to call the restaurant as it kept going to answer service I left several messages no comeback from the restaurant I am seek8ng full refund

Wow .. I had chicken korma and it tastes really good could have had more chicken in but still nice .. mushroom rice .. samosas.. banging well worth the money I will be ordering again .. the only real issue was the man who delivered it thought my tattoos where beautiful.. but he didn’t leave his number lol

Had to call to chase as was marked delivered and nothing received. Late by 45 mins. Food was hot. tasted nice. Negative was price of chips , which was for 2potatoes.

Food sadly was tepid at best and the samosas were cold. May be time to invest in beater take out packaging.

Unfortunately missed a couple of items off, a pot of mango chutney and a pot of red sauce, also the bag of chips was less than half full, so annoying. Easier to nip to the shop to but a jar of mango chutney rather than call, explain and wait!

quality of food was fantastic. however due to being over an hour late, our son had to have something else for dinner and went to bed disappointed and upset. also resulting in a significant amount of wasted food! not answering the phone despite multiple attempts is not satisfactory. on delivery being told that the 'the takeaway is very busy tonight' does not excuse how late the delivery was. the food however, was piping hot, and the best we have had for a little while.

Delivery time stated 20-30 minutes when we ordered. Eventually arrived an hour and 40 minutes after placing the order and chasing several times.

Food was 45 minutes late after being delayed, the food was cold, the peas in the rice were undercooked, we received no poppadoms.

Although food is always to a high standard, it was over an hour late, there was no explanation, no apology from the restaurant, nothing as recognition for lateness. Dissapointed as a regular customer.

Chip portion was tiny this time round, usually there’s enough for 2 of us, also, the bag had clearly split and been stapled to solve the issue so when opening the bag the staple got stuck in my finger, it’s caused it to bleed.

The order was very late, they aid they had delivered it when it hadn’t even been prepared. When it arrived it was Luke warm and had to be microwaved

Always delicious. This take away went through a rubbish phase but has got better again and is my go to for a curry delivery. Wish they still gave free onion salad tho.

I ordered Madras as he likes heat, its more like a mild korma and was it all frozen as my saag has water seeping everywhere!! we will never order from you again absolutely disappointed

I wont be ordering again chips was beyond soggy along with the scampi and nan bread and everything just tasted off so I am now cooking dinner and paid £26 for absolutely nothing

The food came cold and was not very appealing when it arrived.

after 30mins I called, they said be there in 10mins, I called 20mins later (50min late now) they told me the driver will be collecting the food in 3 mins, which means it hasn't even left yet... all they offer is more free food, i want my food.. on time.. I appreciate there busy, but 1 hour over there estimated delivery time is ridiculous. I hope the food is good as always.

really disappointed with how late the food was. when it arrived and some items were barely warm. not the service we had come to expect from this take away. we will think long and hard before ordering again.

I don’t usually write reviews but I feel that I need to in this case. I asked for extra keema in my nans like I usually do from any takeaway. It’s usually, thick and full of flavour. They actually put less keema in- spreading it out as thinly as they could! It tasted so bland and simple. All bread , which is what I didn’t want. Food was cold and dry. Worst Indian food I’ve ever had in my life! I won’t order from here ever again.

was over an hour latr no apology or response on why, items where missing form order when I called they sed shut up you got everything stop being stupid, the times that where delivered where was one ege rice swimming in water and and one chicken korma that was also very watery, they did send free bombay potatoes but was missing the other rice and lamb korma, samosa and onion bhaji and pashwari still no refund sent for what was missing

Disappointing meal. Was very tasteless. Have ordered from Spice Cube on several occasions previously, and has always been good, but not this time.....

Food was tasty as always but the food arrived 45 minutes late which was a shame and quite unusual.

chicken tikka starters had no salad with them or mint sauce which i thought was standard, and both starters and mains were lukewarm at best, no update given on delay until i asked for an update myself not a great experience.

The quality of the food was mediocre. The naans were soggy and the food was cold. Chicken tikka masala is way too sweet. Saag paneer is partially cooked. Aroma of India is a much superior restaurant.

Not very nice food to be polite

Always get the same thing, lamb tikka starter, lamb saag curry and a garlic naan (sorry I never get rice!). Always very very tasty cooked wonderfully, the non tikka lamb in curry is always tender not chewy. Always order from here if I want an Indian!

Initially on time but missing item from order, advised would be with me in 10 minutes but it took 30. Asked for refund or all the meal redone due to it being cold. Was told had to go through just eat so I have. Offered me 25% off for future, could be worse but not great. Normally don’t have issues and food is normally decent

I thought that I would order a takeaway from somewhere different so I went on the just eat app and found the spice cube. It had good reviews and the delivery time was about 35 mins. Unfortunately my order came late, another 40 mins than advertised. When recieving my order the mango chutney was missing and the paswari nan bread was cold. I always order a sagg aloo as a side dish and although it was nice the potatoes were a little al dentè for me. Overal upon my first experience I rate it an average.

Takeaways are expensive now and the quality of the food is getting worse tasteless and bland , no salad or mint sauce with the overcooked onion Bhajis unless you pay extra , keema Nan thin under cooked with next to no meat. I hate to say this but the day has come where supermarket ready meals are better.

Not great customer service today! 2 items missed off my order, granted they were only Nan breads but I was looking forward to one of them, the other for my husband. I called Spice Cube about it and although he was polite, I really felt like he just wanted to get rid of me and practically put the phone down on me as I was still speaking. Not good Spice Cube, you’ve just lost a customer with your poor communication skills.

This was our first time ordering from Spice Cube and so glad we did! Food was fresh and cooked to perfection. We'd previously ordered from the same Indian for around 6 years - they say a change is for the better and in this instance it certainly was. 5 STAR!

Took an hour and a half and then was missing the poppadoms. Sad times.

First time and last time I’m afraid. Delivery late but these things happen, they did let me know. Good menu choices but let down by dry rubbery chicken. Shame as the other flavours were spot on. Maybe it’s a bad night for them.

The food was delicious, really amazing paneer. Would have appreciated better communication as the food was quite late without any updates. Nevertheless, very satisfying curry.

This is by far my fave Indian takeaway I have spent lots of money with them and always loved the food and I got many friends and family who love it too but lately the portions are a joke I will give and send a picture I mean we are all struggling at the moment so it isn’t a good all in same boat but when you Are so buying 10.95£ a meal it’s just unbelievable sort it out but still Yay spice cube we do love ya

Chicken had a lump of bone in, sauce was nice but chicken quality was poor. Ordered a pomadom and literally got what I ordered 1, no salad to go with and the chip portion was pathetic for the price, handful of soggy french fries.

Fantastic food here. Great portions and the food was amazing - so tasty - great Indian food. Delivery was great and driver lovely customer service. Ordered online which was so easy but also spoke with them - lovely staff here.
