Speed in East Renfrewshire

Great wee takeaway. The food is tasty and hot and like the name, always prompt and speedy. We loved the surprise free chicken wings too!

Thought I would update my review from 5years ago as tonight's meal was delicious 😋 👌 and we will be using speed alot more now.

i worked their for some time , it was a very nice expierence and i would recomend people to go there.

Always get good size portions , staff are very helpful . Food has always been great . Main shop front area needs up dated lock of paint would help .

Food is absolutely amazing .. reading reviews and disagree with one saying food is so salty .. food is always perfect and speed by name speed by nature 😎 staff always so nice and plesant !! Would not eat anywhere else .. moved to neilston from newton mearns and this chinese blows any chineses out the water !! X

Food is OK but far to salty had to drink a litre of water after eating. Ask for less salt when ordering or would be 4 stars

Got chicken curry last night, chicken was cold chips were ok sauce was ok...woke this morning with stomach ache and constant cramp ...not a patch on what the food used to be like..I would advise people not to go there

This place used to be my local and was always rather good.... well I was in area and thought I'd go and give it a go, well I hadn't eaten all day and went for a starter and a main. Well it tasted not bad to be honest although no where as good as my now go to Chinese but as the saying goes when in Rome. Well that's where the praise ends... 7hrs after eating I was woken with horrific stomach cramps and had to make a quick move to the toilet and 2hrs later I have made it back to bed!! Needless to say I WILL NOT BE BACK. Speed by name an speed by nature as I have never had anything exit my body so quickly before.

The Best Chinese, food is lovely and good portions

Worst worst chinese carryout. Honestly... i had a chow main and my partner had a special chop suey. My meal was dry and tasteless it went in the bin. As for the special chop suey... nothing special here! 2 prawns, losts of chunky thrown in chicken which is probably used in their soup. The beef was tough and stringy and the pork!! Think the pork is still in the pig sty. Vegetables were shocking... overcooked old onions...peppers massive! The only thing that was edible was the prawn crackers. Never again.

Gone right down hill. Looks bogging. Environmental health really needs to go and have a look.

Fantastic Chinese take away , the special curry is excellent ! Can't recommend it enough ! On the negative side it's an old fashioned Chinese take away complete with the freezing cold wooden benched 'waiting room' and the miserable Chinese serving staff who hates all customers ! But hey the food is top notch ....

Nice food, but awkward to order from. The sooner they sign up to hungry House or Just Eat, the better.

Very poor with deliveries, the old driver has just left with your order story and still waiting after an hour later...VERY POOR SERVICE
