Souvlaki and Gyros in Exeter

Worst run business in the UK, very limited parking maybe enough for 3 cars but the owners think it's acceptable to block a spack with a car covered din advertising for the place. This forces you to park either hundreds of meters away or on double yellows.The food it self was average, soggy when it shouldn't of been and quite salty.I would recommend going literally anywhere else if you're hungry.

Picked up a flyer menu from outside the premises. This offered free delivery within 1.5mile radius, though when phoning our order there is no longer free delivery anywhere!Food was ready quickly. Only 4 dips available, the fifth one shown is no longer available...Chips were some of the soggiest I've ever had. We had to put them in the oven at home to finish cooking them. Rest of the food was ok.

Was looking forward to this place but boy I wish I never bother what a waste of money. Food was dry and tasted old..chips were cold. Food there is not good..owner told me they had 99.9% happy customer not what TripAdvisor says..what a waste of £17

Having been to Greece these are pretty authentic gyros. Meat, salad, bread, yogurt all nice. The one thing that really needs improving are the chips. I have been a number of times and the chips are clearly very cheap frozen ones. They are either rarely cooked properly or reheated a number of times which makes them inedible. I suggest buying some better quality chips and then cooking to order until crispy. Completely pointless having them on the menu otherwise. Don't be lazy!

Had first takeaway from here NYE. Reviews were good so was looking forward to it, but really disappointed. Collected exactly on time but the food was cold when we got it back. Pitta was soggy. The veggie option was good but the chicken in the souvlaki and gyros was really not nice. Tzaziki was really good, but a good 80% of the meal ended up in the bin. Won’t be trying here again. Previously had the same order from Opa and the chicken was delicious.

Its basically a kebab with chips in it... owner is always sat outside smoking. Dont really get the hype.

Small kebab not worth the money and stingy on the meat will not get a takeaway from this establishment again.

Nos reunimos 30 minutos más tarde, y se disculparon nuevamente por la espera, ¡pero estábamos felices y realmente nos sentimos mal por imponernos!Fue la primera vez que nos llevaron y quedamos muy impresionados con lo amables y dispuestos a complacernos que estaban. Con mucho gusto esperaríamos cualquier cantidad de tiempo para un servicio tan bueno.La comida era increíble y sin duda volveremos por más. Teníamos souvlaki y bolas de queso feta fritas.Realmente vale la pena la espera, excelente relación calidad-precio y la mejor comida griega que tenemos desde que la comimos en Grecia.

A mi esposa le encanta la comida griega, así que probamos el mezze especial para 35. Se llamó por teléfono para recoger el pedido, por lo que no hubo esperas.La comida era absolutamente deliciosa y más que suficiente para mí, mi esposa y nuestra niña. Dado lo que se podía pagar por una pizza o un curry, era una auténtica ganga.Recomendaría encarecidamente este proveedor y sin duda los volveré a utilizar en el futuro: el menú es tentador.

Fui esta noche y estaba muy ocupado, el chico dijo que sería media hora y se disculpó mucho. Fui a casa y luego regresé y me vieron enseguida dando mis giroscopios de cerdo. La comida siempre es increíble y una gran porción, no tengo ningún problema con esperar y siempre son muy amables.

Esperé más de una hora y media a que llegara la comida a través de Drliveroo. La comida que tuve fue un polloSouvlaki era muy pequeño y una olla muy pequeña de humus y me costó 14. No todo sabía tan bien y el pan de pita empapado. Todo fue una pérdida de dinero y nunca volveré a comprar allí.

¿Ordenó a las 5:40 y dijo que ocupado sería una hora más ocupado, llamó de nuevo a las 7:30 y dijo que serían otros 20 minutos ya que están ocupados y estamos fuera del camino? Live Farm Hill literalmente a 5 minutos en auto. ! ! ! ¡2 niños que esperaban comida! ¡Vergüenza absoluta, ni siquiera una llamada telefónica para decir que llegamos tarde! Entiendo que tal vez estés ocupado, pero cuando mis hijos están esperando casi 2 horas para la comida, ¡cuando se lo digan sería una hora porque nadie más ordena en mi área! ! ! Me encanta tu comida. Worked late and didn’t want to cook. Ordered over the phone for collection and the food was prepared perfectly on time. The portion size was very generous and it tasted great.

Extremadamente decepcionante. Pedimos el laberinto vegetariano y no era comestible. Chips fríos y grasientos, los "frijoles picantes" eran frijoles horneados fríos con un montón de hojuelas de chile revuelto y, lo peor de todo, ¿había un pelo de ping enredado dentro de una de las hojas de parra rellenas? Para ser justos, cuando nos quejamos, se ofrecieron de inmediato a recoger la comida y verificaron el cabello en el dolmade (disculpándose mucho) y nos ofrecieron un reembolso completo.

We have had several takeaways from here and the food is always amazing! The delivery driver always friendly too.

We popped in with hungry kids and because we live quite a drive away noticed they had a fun outside, covered seating area. Before we knew it we were settled in with a heater overhead. Delicious food, very friendly, cosy place to eat and very reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

Visited this evening to pick up a takeaway, and wow what amazing food! I’ve struggled to find Greek food anywhere near as good as we had on our holiday last year, but this was so good! Great size portions at a good price! We will be back soon, thank you!

This is the most delicious greek food i’ve ever found in UK! I strongly recommend it! Everything is fresh, prepared in front of you, at Good price, the portions are huge And incredibly delicious!

Don’t do it. Tried this place when they first opened as friend recommended the halloumi wraps - sounded great. We ordered those and some stuffed vine leaves (my favourite) but sadly when we got home to eat the vine leaves were off, fizzy and mouldy.

I am not sure what the guy with the 1star review is talking about. I have ordered dishes from this place many times, I have even visited their stores- they cook everything from scratch and give very large portions! Absolutely delicious, the best gyro I have ever had. Very friendly staff. You can buy from deliveroo- their stores or their stand in the centre of town. LOVE IT!!

Passed this place on my commute home every day and decided to pop in and try it as I loved Gyros in Rhodes. The food here is amazing, I've been back since and I will go again for more off the menu. Would recommend it.

I’ve got only 2 words to describe the food from here - utterly delicious! We had take out, the service was fast and friendly and the shop was lovely and clean!

I ordered is as a takeaway and it was A W E S O M E. The only reason why I can't give it 5 stars is because I felt so frustrated I couldn't carry on eating more as my stomach was going to burst out with Authentic Greek Food. Best vegetarian option ever and I love that everything comes with sauce. I also loved that the cheesy Greek chips had a lot cheese and not only on the top like most restaurants.

Me and my boyfriend live in Torquay and have been looking for somewhere for a while now that does Gyros. Drove to this place to give it a go and we were not disappointed! Ordered our food, got shown the outdoor terrace and decided to sit here. The food was brought too us and all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Can not fault the food here what so ever. Definitely worth the trip from Torquay. Really cheap prices but outstanding food.

The title says it all, we visited tonight and took the food away and it was beautiful and so fresh. The owners let us try the pork gyros before ordering and we knew then it was going to be something to write about. If like us, you have driven past and always wondered what it was like, try it as best take away we have had in ages. Yummy

Fab every time. Fresh tasty and never have 'kebab tummy' the next day. The bread is spot on. Very occasional omission or incorrect item in delivery so worth checking but totally yummers.

Love this place. Reasonable in price and the most guilt free thing the closest to a kebab you will find. Do not call it a kebab though whatever you do as the owners take great pride in what they do it is a Souvalki or Gyros not a kebab! Really authentic and unique food this has now become my Friday treat. WILL NOT DISAPPOINT! Keep up the good work guys. Thank you.

My boyfriend and I were in the library wanting food, luckily we came across this gem! Food was delivered in 30 mins- it was absolutely delicious! Just what we needed to get us to carry on studying. Will definitely be ordering again.

I visit greece every month for work and when I found myself in need of good comfort food for my team I found this wonderful gem. Thank you Yannis for your great attention and amazing food! Everything was just perfect and definitely just like thing in Athina:) delicious and plenty for a group to share. Will be coming back for more soon. Beyond recommend!

I had my first takeaway from this restaurant, and I'll definitely be getting more. The chicken souvlaki was superb. Lots of big moist tender tasty bits of chicken breast, I didn't need a knife. So well seasoned and the salad was out of the garden fresh. You could tell it had just been made before the delivery. The Pork dish was so generous, massive amount of pure meat, not the processed lumps, and tsatsiki like no other. It wasn't watery and sour, as so many restaurants serve it, it was thick, creamy and again, freshly herbed and flavoured. The chips were wonderful, golden and crispy, not slobby and greasy, perfectly seasoned. What a pleasure!!

I just ordered meals for 3 from here for me and my friends. They were very quick and the food was excelent. I can see the chef takes pride in what he is doing. The meat and vegetables are all fresh and made me proud when my friends said I had a very good idea for ordering from here. Tasty food.

Visited this place on several occasions and every time I cannot praise the food enough. The Gyros are as good as you get in Greece. Great value for money and exceptional food.

Visited here following a recommendation from a friend. The owner is quite clearly passionate about his business and food. He let us try the pork before we ordered. Ordered the tray of pork, fresh salad tzatziki and chips. Everything was superbly cooked and very tasty. My only reason for the 4 stars was I felt the £8.50 price was a little high. Would definitely visit again though.

Came here yesterday for the first time. Friendly, super cleannnnn and delicious. I only wish I could have tried everything on the menu. I love greek food and there is not enough of it down here in the South West. These guys need to open a small place in Plymouth now. We will be back when we are next in Exeter.

Due to its location not many people know about this place, but the food is fantastic. Authentic Greek gyros and souvlaki and many more options all reasonably priced (prices range from £5-£10 for most items) and made by people who care. I’ve visited several times and have always had a great experience. They also operate a stand with a smaller menu in the guildhall shopping centre. Be aware it’s Cash only.

My friend and I travelled across town to try this place out and I was by no means disappointed! I could tell it was a popular place as the owner seemed quite busy- but as a good host, he was very friendly and welcoming. He even gave us some samples of the meat as we waited! The Gyros was very tasty, it made me feel like I was back in Greece. I will definitely be going back again and 100% would recommend!

After reading reviews and having a love of gyros we had our first delivery. The gyros had one piece of meat. I was not impressed as the gyro cost £9. Very disappointing after the great reviews.

We've just returned from Greece and fell in love with souvlaki. So whilst visiting Exeter we were chuffed to find this place.

Having just returned from a holiday in Corfu we wanted to revisit the Gyros experience at home. This lovely shop in Exeter was perfect. The superb owners let my children taste a few things before deciding what to have. We travelled all the way across town to try this place and we will definitely do it again. the Gyros were huge, and very tasty. As a vegetarian I had the haloumi. Yummy!

Lovely food and the environment, but best thing about it is people who work there that put their heart into the business and you can taste the love in the food!
