One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to for a long time. Really great food, well cooked with delicious flavours. We had Pad Thai, green curry and pork belly with rice. The service was exemplary- attentive and very cheerful which is quite refreshing. Would very much recommend!

Excellent food, good value and very friendly staff. We had calamari, vegetable spring rolls and soup followed by various pad thai mains and an amazing massaman curry. Will definitely return to Soi Thai.

Food was absolutely delicious - we had a mixture of starters and mains, all of which brilliant. I didn’t finish my main so asked to take the rest home - slight miscommunication (probably on my end) meant it was thrown away accidentally.. They made me a whole fresh Massaman curry with rice to take home. Lovely staff, will definitely be back

We had a terrific meal here. All the dishes were well-spiced, authentic, fresh tasting and immaculately presented and portions were generous. Northcote Road is full of restaurants, most of which are mediocre and/or chains. This place is a very notable exception – I look forward to going back.

Had a wonderful spontaneous meal here. The lovely team found a table for us despite the fact we hadn't booked (we got 1 of two free tables so felt very lucky!). WOW what wonderful service and food! My partner got the Thai green curry but the star of the show had to be my ginger stirfried duck. A really generous and beautifully cooked portion of duck breast, makes such a difference to most places where you get a few chunks. Can't wait to head back, absolutely our new favourite local restaurant.

Very friendly staff, made to feel at home. Seems to be a family run restaurant, it certainly has that feel. Sat in the back room which was nicely decorated. Lovely food too.

Nice little thai restaurant serving fresh homey food. Friendly service. Two minor qualms - our spicy stir fry was not really hot at all and the service charge at the end. Overall though a nice place for a good thai meal.

I was initially sceptical as to whether Battersea needs another Thai restaurant. Northcote Road already has a branch of Rosa’s Thai cafe and Battersea Rise has the stylish Pad Thai Story which I first encountered as a Wandsworth Town cafe in Old York Road just down the road from my home. Soi Thai occupies a compact space which was a tapas restaurant for many years, then an outpost of the Scotch Malt Whiskey Society, more recently Greek. As a Thai restaurant, however, it has not only a well-judged and extensive menu but with some slightly unusual items, including the roast duck with broccoli asparagus and chilli my wife ordered which would not have been out of place in an upmarket Chinese restaurant, as well as the red duck curry I ordered with generous cross-section of pineapple sliced straight from its skin, the choicest whole miniature tomatoes and even some raspberries. I was particularly impressed by the use of shiitake as opposed to button mushrooms in the creamiest of tom kha soups with coconut milk and prawns. Everything was stylishly served from the chicken satay on a long plate for my daughter to the edamame beans for nibbling. The prawn crackers were a bit on the spicy side but beautifully fresh and crunchy. There was a chicken and rice dish for my daughter. On its website Soi specialises in Pad Thai. But judging by what we enjoyed on our visit it specialises in much else besides producing effortlessly stylish dishes which were a little unique. The central bar even has a spot for Thai cakes and pastries presumably served more at lunchtimes.

Form Texas, we stayed near Southfields station for 5 days. We came for dinner on our third day of vacation and ended up coming back on our last day because it was so amazing. Service was great, and so was the food!! Everything we tried both times. Plus, great value for the price. Would definitely recommend and wish we could come back often!

I ordered from here, and honestly, what a letdown. The food was completely flavorless. The Pad Thai was a disaster – the noodles were so shredded, it looked more like fried rice. The quality of ingredients didn't even come close to what you'd expect from authentic Thai cuisine. It felt like they cut every possible corner. I won’t be ordering again. Avoid this place.
