Discovered this place by accident and wow the super dirty burger is the best burger ever and the portion of fries is enormous, not the cheapest place but it’s worth every penny. The restaurant itself is very modern looking and very clean, the staff are friendly and actually look genuinely happy to be working there which says a lot.

Ordered a takeaway and got the wrong order. Who orders a plain Jane. I know it's on the menu but I wouldn't order a dry bun with 2 burgers with no toppings etc. Was offered 10% discount on the next order which I wasn't happy about Managed to return the messed up order but what a fuss. It's the second messed up order in a month. Never again. Thanks for a Friday night treat 2 hours late.

We have only discovered this place as a random place when we fancied a burger, we were not disappointed! Food is delicious and having just been in as well as delivery, the staff are lovely as well

The burger and chips were fantastic, with generous portions that left me fully satisfied. The mac and cheese was creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked a real treat. I also loved the atmosphere, with the sleek black and yellow design giving the place a unique and modern vibe. On top of that, the staff were incredibly polite and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend.

Ordered through Uber eats, I had the crispy chilli burger and my partner had the pizza burger and a side of fire fries. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong, the food was hot, looked presentable in the nice packaging it comes with and a nice touch with the warm hand wipes too, we just weren't completely overwhelmed with the food and considering the price you pay just for a burger.. I’d consider it to be a rip off if I’m honest. I’d pay £6 for that standard of burger personally. But other than that it was okay, probably wouldn’t order again.

A decent burger in its own right but no where near Fentons standard. A very good £7 burger but an awful £12 burger

The service provided was subpar. The order was not thoroughly checked before its dispatch, resulting in the missing of an item. This is not an isolated incident. The quality of the food was acceptable. The establishment requested that I collect my item, but now I am burdened with the inconvenience of pursuing a refund. I will not be using their services in the future.

Bit disappointing. Food was Luke warm / cold by the time it arrived. Sweet potato fries under cooked and floppy. Chicken wrap was bad. Soft mushy and too much mayo and was just soft and greasy. Burger was quite nice though but not top notch. Won’t be ordering from here again.

I recently visited smashontrent and was incredibly disappointed. To start, the fries were stone cold and tasted as hard as nails, like they’d been sitting out for hours. The rest of the food didn’t fare any better—it felt like eating cheap junk food or cafeteria-grade meals. For the prices they charge, I expected fresh, hot, and flavorful food, not something that felt carelessly thrown together. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent dining experience. Big dislike!

O my one word WOW that was seriously the best takeaway I’ve had in a long time only wished I’d taken photos the food is amazing the burgers are juicy full to the brim the hot dog was huge and the bbq chicken was sooo good and not stingy with portions there’s a good amount and lots of bbq sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection and the biggest plus was Uber taking a while to collect I was thinking it was going to be cold nope they had wrapped in foil, in a box and then in a taped bag it was the hottest takeaway I’ve had ever so fresh like I’d sat there and had it delivered that minute Highly recommended my first time and definitely won’t be the last and im a fussy beggar usually thank you

I love the burgers here no problems at all But whatever you do please do not order these First as you can see I did not eat anything from it And when I complained that the apple crumble is tasteless with custard he said that’s how we get it and that he cannot offer refund or exchange it for something else Order at your own risk

The Burgers here are the best in Stoke! So many options available and all of them taste amazing from what I've had (repeat customer). Definitely go here next time you have a craving for burgers! The one thing that would be a great bonus is if they added a few more veggie/vegan burger options. They have loads of veggie side options but a few more veggie/vegan burger options would be nice.

I usually order from here and the food is top notch especially the chicken burgers, however I ordered today and there has clearly been an ingredient change as the chicken was much crispier and drier and not to a high standard as it has been in the past

Wow!!! Fantastic service went after night out got home still piping hot. Omdz I had the philli cheese sub so nice great flavours. Washed it down with a pink lemonade which was refreshing. The gentleman who served us was very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us too. Great experience will definitely go there again.

Walked in wanted a meal where I can be very self-indulgent, I that’s what I got!! Burger was amazing, fries portion were massive and the quality was great!! Also, very clean seating and serving area. Front of house member of staff was ace as well, very friendly and approachable whilst making conversation. Overall, great experience :)

Went towards the end of the shift to get some food and the staff were great! I had a burger with fries and some spicy chicken strips, they were absolutely amazing! It's been a while since I had such a juicy burger and the strips... OMG, they were yummy and just perfect!! Definitely recommend this place!

Not one to write reviews at all, but after my recent experience, I think otherwise. We thought we would give this restaurant a second try after a very poor first visit. first off, there was an issue with the ordering system where it took the payment out my bank but then appeared to say I haven’t paid I understand this may not be down to the restaurant but I find it rude that the staff were hinting that we were lying after the long wait for our food (we were the only customers in the building) we were then surprised to find out they hadn’t even prepared our food properly and just given us plain chicken and fries overall the experience was absolutely dreadful the food was cheap and bland you would think otherwise with the prices you pay to any others thinking of trying this place I wouldn’t be deceived by the amazing looks and marketing they put out it’s all just the same frozen stuff as your 1-star kebab shop down the road

Food is always piping hot and as delicious. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Great vibe and family friendly.

Disgusting management and can not handle aggressive situations at all. Seems asthough they do not care about their customers at all and are willing to leave them in dangerous situations where they are being verbally attacked and having to defend themselves. No sympathy whatsoever and did not offer any support.

Experienced a homophobic attack inside the store, staff did nothing and refused to ring the police because "management dont allow it" customer was taking digs at me and my friend (female) who he thought was my partner, she stated i was gay as its not obvious and all hell broke loose with other customers having block his way to me. I get its not the staffs fault however this happened on the premises and they refused to do anything about it. Myself being a manger having multiple staff and a large customer base to protect daily the way they handled the situation was frankly disguisting and when called out on it they had the audacity to say they felt threatened by us. (We wernt raising our voices at them just disputing why they wernt ringing the police) in the end we had to ring the police and physically baracade the door with our body weight from the inside to stop him from physically reaching us. We wont be returning and if i were you i wouldnt risk coming here knowing your safety is the least of their priority. And management you need to seriously overhall your policies and retrain your staff if they "arnt allowed to ring the police" over public safety concerns!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! I was verbally attacked by a guy in this place, which I understand isn’t the staffs fault, however, when I had to put my foot in the door to prevent myself from being physically attacked they refused to call the police or provide any help at all. They were just running around saying they weren’t allowed to call the police. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour.

Although the food is generally very good, I have had two occasions where another customer's order was delivered to me. Wrong order twice causing me stress and frustration when trying to solve the problem as it was always unsuccessful. It’s a shame but I can’t recommend it for delivery anymore.

We went for dinner here after a busy day at Alton Towers with our toddler. It was easy to find parking outside. When placing our order, we were given recommendations of things to try from the menu as there was so much choice. The food came out quite quickly and we were not disappointed. The food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. We ordered a dirty burger, an original burger, chicken loaded fries, chicken bites meal for our toddler, a milkshake, and a dessert with croissant and toppings. The portion size was fantastic considering we hadn't much all day and it tasted amazing. The atmosphere in the store was chilled and relaxing, parking was not an issue and the customer service was impeccable. Really friendly, and helpful. Have been wanting to try this place for a while as seen on social media - we were down from Scotland. Definitely need to open a Smash on Glasgow!

I wish I continued my fast. It was the worst meal I’ve eaten since primary school dinners. I looked outside the window & noticed that even the homeless man was eating better than me. I felt ashamed to even offer him the food.

I was served by Seb, who had great customer service. Serving us with a smile on his face. The food was ordered and served in the matter of minutes. Which Seb then kindly asked us how the food was and how we were getting on. The place is very clean and has a great atmosphere.

Very clean environment, I was served by Seb who was very quick with his service, very polite and came over to check on us once we had our food. He gave us the option to have our drinks before our food arrived and had them made nice and quick for us :-)

Overall a good addition to burslem. Their burgers are good, but I wish they did a meal option so I don't have to buy the chips and drinks individually. The Sundaes are amazing too 👌 I only wish they were open half an hour later!

15 minutes from order to collection, that's pretty rapid! I wouldn't class myself as a foodie but I like what I like. Second time getting food from here. 1st time was a brisket burger which was beautiful! Never had a Brisket before but it was amazing, meat was tender and very flavoursome. Second time I got the dirty burger after one of the reviewers recommended. It was again beautiful! The chicken and Beef managed to work really well together, the sauces and toppings were amazing. Portion size was generous and for the price, its great value. Maybe this is because I'm used to London prices? Definitely coming back.

Mrs is at work wasn't sure what to do for tea for me and my son. Decided to go to smash on Trent. Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had, I know that sounds over the top but man it was deadly in a really good way. Staff are rate nice too, dead friendly and helpful. If your hungry and what a ride on the taste buds most definitely go to smash on Trent.
