Smashing Plates Wembley in Brent

Made an order with 4 items. They sent 3/4 while the most expensive item (the one that costs £11.50) never arrived. This doesn’t look like a mistake as I was never contacted by the shop.

Easily the best food outlet at Wembley Boxpark. I’m never disappointed. Had the small pork wrap this time and it was delicious! The pork was juicy and flavourful and for a small wrap it was very filling and generously sized, even without the chips! The lady that served me was SO lovely too. She was so smiley. It made the experience perfect.

Extremely good food. A great range of options including both vegetarian and vegan, as well as meat-based dishes, best helping staff you will ever seen. Worth to try, don't miss out.

Average tasting Gyro’s and fries. Only good thing was the cheesy toasted pitta.

Tried to make enquiries over the phone as it is being advertised on Deliveroo as Halal, However, phone has a message as not available. It has pork dishes too on the menu. Checked the online menu and no where it is mentioned as any item is halal. It needs clarification and proper recording on 3rd party delivery services...

Ate here with a few friends before a gig and was really impressed - all the meats were succulent, fries nicely seasoned, and the sauces were a highlight especially the fiery roasted pepper & jalapeno one! Would highly recommend

Small selection of vegan food and very filling but delicious. Good value if you get the meal deal for under £13. You have to buy the sauces separately. Chilli sauce was not very spicy but tasted good. You get good portions here.

Eating the unorthodox fries in Boxpark, could've closed my eyes and been in Greece, it was that good. My partner had chicken gyros and it is the best we've had in the UK hands down. Will 100% recommend to anyone who loves Greek fast food. Served really quickly and the food tasted fresh, great place to eat.

I had high hopes and unfortunately didn’t have a good experience. I ordered the pork wrap and in the picture it looked like shredded pork but I got a pork sausage, so that was a bit deceiving. Also I had to really dig to get to the meat in the wrap and the meat ending up being undercooked which is not ideal because I’m pregnant and can’t really chance eating undercooked meat…. Hoping the small bite I did take won’t affect me but didn’t end up finishing the wrap. Doubt I’ll go back :(

We've ordered take away and eaten here several times. The portions are always good and the fries are very tasty. The salads have fresh ingredients and the meat is tasty, although a bit too marinated. The person that served us today was very nice and the service was quick.

Hands down one of the best places to eat in Boxpark. The food is of a consistently high standard regardless of what you order. The staff are absolutely lovely and I will always be a return customer!

Absolutely awful, received raw meat!!! Completely unacceptable, portion is also very very small. Avoid at all costs.

I made an order through über eats. I was given another address a few seconds later I cancelled it and the money was not returned back to me. There he wrote that my order was placed so they did not even get to prepare it for me but they did not return money. Shame. I will never order again from this restaurant

Went to BoxPark for both my friends' birthdays and I was a bit nervous as I'm new to world cuisine food and ordered from this place. I have never felt in love with the food, especially grilled halloumi fries covered in maple syrup and sprinkled with sesame seeds. I tried to see if I could order from them in my local area but unfortunately they haven't reached to my area yet, just London based at the moment but I definitely buy from them again!

Was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately when it arrived it’s was cold. It took nearly 1/2 hour to get from despatch to door. Delivery. You can cycle in 16-18mins. So had to dismantle the dish and put in microwave. Not pleasant and then they was a hair……

Great customer service, I ordered and in 5 minutes I had my food. I got the souvlaki pork wrap with Smashing sauce. Really good and filling, and all for a good price!

Pork Souvlaki wrap was reasonably priced but more importantly the taste was very good. Reccomended for a quick and tasty meal!

I ordered the Crispy Mushroom and Vegan Halloumi wraps from Deliveroo. The food took too long to arrive, crispy mushrooms as advertised were boiled not crispy, and the general taste of the wraps was plain and lacking flavour and sauce. Complained to Delveroo and they said there's nothing that can be done. I phoned the restaurant and was told they most likely ran out of the crispy mushrooms and replaced it with normal boiled mushrooms with no communication from the restaurant after placing the order. I've eaten better wraps at other Greek places!

Big portion sizes, fairly priced and the food is full of flavour. Definitely worth a visit!

I have been very disappointed by the moussaka I ordered = tasteless, eggplant less, with French fries that have been heated from freezer and sausages? It would be more realistic calling it french fries sausages! The halloumi was ok though

Amazing, authentic gyros! Came here with friends to have some food and drinks in boxpark before a gig. We all had chicken gyros, my friends added halloumi with theres. So so tasty HUGE portions, great service too! Oregano fries were lovely aswell. Thanks so much!

Had the chicken souvlaki wrap - not overly impressed I’m afraid. The chicken was low quality and highly processed as opposed to chicken pieces. I had three bites and binned the rest.

A great option in boxpark! Would make a great takeaway too. Smashing plates has a few venues and is perfect when you’re having a drink and is hungry. Special mention to the fried halloumi bites in honey!!! Can’t beat a pork gyros either. Only thing I would say is it needs more sauce!!

Chicken taste like where d sun don't shine (boris Johnson bundA) and u guys went ham on d sauce huh??!? I feel sick just had a mouthful of burger sauce this ain't no Greek food big 🧢

I ordered x2 chicken gyros skepasti. It had more onions than chicken. The chicken was just a sample of meat. The worst skepasti ever. That isn't greek food.

Good food options although portions are very small despite paying more for extra chicken which was dry. I opted for the “tray” option. Food taste and quality was okay but feel there are other options around box park where you can get more for your money.

Save your money and go somewhere else, it's just cheap food that don't taste good because the ingredients are cheap 0.5 star

Tried to order some Unorthodox Fries with either chickpeas or halloumi. Orders could only be done through a tablet which didn't allow for any vegetarian version of the fries. Furthermore, the person behind the counter seemed too busy watching some series on her laptop to be bothered to help. She just said that if the tablet didn't allow for it, there's nothing she would do. This is despite the price being the same regardless of protein choice. Would not recommend. This shop used to be called The Athenian, and the vast majority of positive reviews are from back then. Now that the shop has changed hands they didn't bother to create a page from scratch. This is quite dishonest, since most reviews don't belong to them.

Got “extra” pork gyros and the amount I got was pathetic. Wonder if I would have got none if I didn’t select that for an extra £3. Better off getting a proper kebab elsewhere

I love Souvlaki and tbh I had the worst one here. The taste of pork was terrible and also you didn't give us our drinks which we noticed when we arrived home! Your food was nothing like your pictures on Instagram!!!

It was slightly below average hence the 2 stars. Surprising how high the reviews are, my wrap looked good in photos but Tzatziki had no taste, bit like mayo. (Just editing following the reply, thanks for replying). I meant the whole wrap was cold, not the tzatziki. Just nothing to write home about basically.

Okish for a normal dish, very disappointing as a Greek food dish... As an avid fan of the Greek Food I m very disappointed in the taste and flavour. The tzatziki sauce is a disaster, too much cucumber flavour and the characteristics of white wine vinegar and the dill are missing. Not to mention, it was pretty watery. 😔 I m afraid I have to say this but I this was more of a Kebab than a Souvlaki and that is sacrilegious... I m giving two stars because of the food, which was okish for food in general food standards & the way it looked and for the staff which was lovely. I do not mean to be mean but for a Greek Food place... only the looks, names of the food and the logos made the place resemble as a Greek one! I would definitely not recommend this if you're looking for a great place to eat Greek, but if you're hungry, it will do✌

The meat here was horrible as It had given me a very bad stomach ache, during the course of the evening it ruined my evening as well as it’s my birthday and I will not be returning back here again. I shall be taking this further to the health authorities and ensuring they take a good look at this place.

Absolutely DELISH!! The food is so well seasoned and cooked...honestly some of the nicest Greek food I've had. The lady at the desk had the nicest customer service!

First time when I ate here I have found a big chunk of chicken skin, today given another try... and still disappointed. The meat was not fresh at all, maybe because it was around noon, and the place was a bit quiet. But that’s still not acceptable.

Was introduced to the Athenian bunch at their Elephant and Castle brunch a few years back. Was pleasantly surprised to see their Wembley branch as I dip in and out of the area for work. Situated within the Boxpark, Wembley's Athenian did not disappoint. Amazing and speedy service, top quality food, smiley stuff and a number of choices- as Greek food always is versatile. Absolutely great if in need of a quick, healthy lunch in Wembely. Recommended hands down
