The woman at the till was very racist it was my third time coming to the restaurant I always get food but whenever I do she gives me a take away bag for me to leave but then I was like it’s fine it’s not a big deal then one day I bought something was about to eat in just because I am black even though I’m Muslim alhamdulilah she was telling me to eat out because apparently I made a mess last with my friends and it was the fist time I came with my friends I always come alone and I always clean the table after eating everywhere I go that’s just how I was taught.

Awful packaging of dips, every time the sauce dips fall in the bag please make sure you properly close the lids and package them well not happy with this kind of service and expecting a free dip with my next order

I usually order for delivery but this time my order is not cooking l think half cooked because I m chafe l know how to make before give me the reason please make sure cooked before send if you want I’m gonna send pictures, thanks

I've been here 3 times since it's open and if you love your burgers smothered in mayo then this is the place for you! Compared to other burger joint on cheetham hill this place by far is the least good I have asked the dear sister behind the till to double dip the fillet and put less mayo on my wrap however she did the complete opposite and now I have a very mayoye wrap. You want a good burger go to Philadelphia fried chicken or even Golden fried chicken

Some people will say it's only chicken but I assure you it's so much more. I had the standard chicken burger meal and a portion of dipped chicken strips. WOW!!!! I've had many chicken burgers in many different countries and locations but in my opinion this was the best I've ever had. The chicken was succulent, tender, juicy and crispy at the same time. It was so full of flavour that I was smiling whilst eating it. The dipped chicken strips were just the right amount of spice. Enough to give your tongue a little tingle, but again, so tasty. I don't think I'll be able to eat fried chicken from anywhere else after Smash. I look forward to my weekly trip to Manchester so I can eat it again. Try it. You won't regret it

Ordered chicken platter on website paid for it online went to pick up said they don't do rice no more been 2-3 months according from horses mouth, ask if they can give chicken wings in place of rice refused, when leaving asked if their was sauce came home missing, THEY DONT HAVE CARD FACILITY A WAY OF AVOIDING TAX. Smash official on cheetham hill road huge thumbs up from me. The spicy dip burger is legit in my opinion one of the best in manchester. The meal which also comes with a drink an fries is on a special offer at £5.99 at the moment. Doesnt even need any sauce with it as all the flavours ooze out from their own in house sauce. Pizza deals are great got the 2 12 inch for around a tenner and both pizzas the meaty feast an smash official special were amazing and fresh. Price wise very affordable and simply another great addition to the ever growing amazing take out joints on the busy cheetham hill road. This place is brilliant an in'sha'allah will definately be back.

It’s decent, not special, not something to return for, just decent One of the better smash burgers you can get, good house sauce, burger well seasoned and it was juicy Disappointed that the loaded fries is just nacho cheese sauce on fries, so cheesy fries Need proper loaded fries beef or chicken on fries, some peppers, jalapeños, onions and house+peri sauce with cheese (nacho or american or even grated cheese) and you have proper loaded fries, would return for that!

Looks better than it is. I was lured by "limited time £5.5 burger meal". It's serviceable, but meat, bun, and chips are the lowest quality out there. Don't expect anything beyond this.

Can’t speak for the atmosphere as I ordered a delivery. Food was okay at best. Portion sizes for fries and burgers were small so I hope that improves. For the price of some items it has to be better if you want to compete with other places in MCR. Not really an innovative place in terms of menu but a decent standard if you’re close by and not sure what to get.

Finally decided to try Smash’s spicy dipped chicken burger after trying many elsewhere. Call me the spicy chicken burger connoisseur! The fillet was juicy however the spice level was much milder compared to Phillys or Dallas, however what it lacks in spice, it makes up for in flavour. I can’t quite determine the flavour profile, but I’d say it’s more sweet leaning without the heavy salt content like many others. Overall I’d say, if your into Manchesters iconic spicy dipped burgers, give smash a chance! The fries portion is laughable however, I know there’s a cost of living but I’m sure it wouldn’t break the bank to include a few more chips! The decor is pretty modern, bright and attractive and there’s always room to sit in. My only criticism is the extremely unfriendly staff here. Customer service is non existent so don’t expect basic manners or even a simple smile. Overall it puts people off wanting to return and I’m in no rush to go back for that factor!

Disappointed. Service was standard, no smiles or any signs of care. They took my order and handed me my food. I ordered the spicy dipped chicken burger meal (shown in the image) and a Naga doner on chips. The latter was decent but the burger was nothing special, not bad just not amazing, the biggest let down was the portion of chips. Stingy as it gets. Should have gone to Florida which was 2 doors down. Not worth the money trust me, there are so many other options on the road so don't waste your money here.

Poor quality chips and some of the worst melt cheese I've tasted. Classic smash burger was over peppered and underwhelming. Certainly not worth the premium price, amazed by the high Google rating. Never again.

I placed an order for delivery today fir th first time with smash but i was really disappointed I ordered the classic burger which was really soggy and the patty was pretty dry and really oversized.. secondly the munch box was terrible the chips to donner everything within the meal box definitely not worth the money. Would never recommend not worth the money

This is my second review, and I am to make some edits to my first one. Initially, I was unhappy with the service at Smash. However, during my recent visit, I encountered a new staff member at the counter who was incredibly friendly, kind, and respectful, always wearing a smile. Interestingly, they were already aware of my previous negative review 🤣. They managed to turn my initial bad experience around with their exceptional service and delicious food. Today, I only ordered fries, and I was surprised by the generous portion size for the price of 2 pounds I don’t know that was their normal size or it was for. As I mentioned in my previous review , the food tasted even better when accompanied by a friendly server.

Edited: I've been here numerous times but ordered home delivery last night, and the food was that spciy we couldn't eat it loaded fries, which iv had 3 times was totally different mega maga spicy very disappointing. Amna is very polite and accommodating. The burgers in this place are amazing. Loaded fries delicious.
