We had a lovely time here sitting outside the cafe on a warm day. The service was excellent. We all had rhubarb tart and it was absolutely beautiful. The cafe is clean. Perfect venue for a trip out.

Went here for lunch with my partner today. I got a fry and my partner got a panini. Food was delicious, cooked perfectly, and staff were friendly. There were homemade scones, apple pie and cakes on display and cafe was decorated for halloween. Would definitely return.

We called in yesterday after a recommendation from a friend. The premises are bright and pleasant. A young lady promptly provided us with menus, and we had a pleasant conversation and a laugh with her. We ordered a small fry and quiche. The fry was ok. The pastry case of the quiche was burnt black and the fillin was overcooked, and dry. Almost inedible. We left the burnt case on the plate for staff to see. At no time did anyone ask us if everything was ok. In our original conversation with the waitress we indicated that we would probably like some apple tart as well. When we had finished our main meal we waited ten minutes with dirty plates while staff walked past us and ignored us. Eventually we approached the counter to ask for our tarts. Our table was only cleared when the waitress appeared with our desserts. We were offered an option to have our tea refreshed...it had been finished ten minutes previously. We declined, as addng hot water would have left us with watery tea to take with our dessert. We felt that we should have been offered another pot of tea. When paying for our food, again we were not asked if everything was ok. This visit started out pleasant and with considerable optimism, and was gradually dragged down into quite a depressing experience. We truly felt that we were an inconvenience. There was three staff and four occupied tables.

Called here on the way home and the food was good and the staff are very friendly and helpful Usually call here when we also want to go for a walk along the side of the river and through the woodland . Both tired and decided to delay our walk until the evening

I was here for a late lunch as I'd been recommended it. A friendly warm welcome and my unusual tastes catered for easily. I loved the matching cups and saucers with a vintage print and the small milk bottles. Food was fast and very tasty and prices were reasonable. Highly recommended and I will be back.

Called here with a friend for lunch. I had the homemade quiche with side salad and it was beautiful. My friend had the bagels with cream cheese and she enjoyed hers too. Great selection of freshly prepared and homemade food. Finished off with tea and homemade caramel squares - beautiful. Will definitely return - not only good food but lovely attentive staff and to top if off beautiful surroundings.

Been here twice this week. The new proprietors used to have Sketchers in Bendooragh but took over The Slipway on Monday this week. Familiar furniture and the same good quality of food etc as before. BUT a much better venue, bigger premises, better parking and a much better outlook onto Drumaheglis Marina and the river Bann. They are busy already and I suspect come the good weather again they will be rushed off their feet. Wish them every success must thank their previous landlord for putting up their rent! Think they have the better deal here. You get free top ups too! What’s not to like.

We were camping with family at the site. So glad to see this cafe - just been taken over by really enthusiastic and friendly coffee and food team. We had avocado and toast, pancakes and bacon, scones and coffee - all gorgeous. Also a beautiful setting and the river with a park for the kids and you don't have to be camping to use the facilities.

We hit the door of the Scenic Inn on our way back from Giants Causeway. We didn't have a booking, but decided to chance it and to our surprise we were told that the table is available. There is plenty of parking outside and even a small but equipped playground for the young patrons. The restaurant is very clean, spacious and connected with a Pub. The serving staff was absolutely brilliant, our kids received colouring pages with games and pictures with a good set of crayons. Now the food....Food was amazing, fresh and most importantly tasty and mouthwate. I have wet the fresh battered cod with garlic chips and my wife decided to go with ribeye steak (medium ) and champs. Our kids had kids menu consisting of chicken curry and bangers and mash. Omg this food was a symphony to our stomachs and tasting buds. Really, really nice, well presented, we didn't have to wait for too long and the waiting staff was very helpful. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant as it is a unique and amazing experience. BTW - everything is so well and reasonably priced. It's a no brainer!!

We had the vegan burgers with a couple of sides, plus dessert. The food was REALLY tasty and the staff friendly and helpful. Price was very reasonable. We were passing thought on our way to the Cairnryan ferry, but if we're within 20 miles again we'll definitely eat there. Thanks to all the staff!
