SLICE in Wigan

Really disappointing visit. Under the original owners, the food quality and service was excellent. However today, after not visiting for a while, the 2 pizzas were very disappointing. There was no difference in size despite one being 10” and the other 12”and paying the tge 12”,the base was heavy, doughy and tasteless. Plenty of cheese in the middle but very little on the outer couple of inches. After paying nearly £19 for a family treat, we’ve decided not to go again, which is a shame as we like to support our local businesses.

Used to be a loyal customer of Slice but since the newer owners have taken over the quality of the pizza has gone down drastically. The base isn't crispy and fluffy anymore, it's heavy and like cardboard. Topping aren't as plentiful, prices have massively soared up in short time and charging a £1 per sauce pot too when it used to be free. Very sad to say I won't be going anymore and having to look elsewhere for a takeaway.

The seafood pizza is excellent if that's your thing !

Terrible service, waited almost an hour for food to be told it would be ready in 10 minutes for husband to then chase again and be told they would start our order! First and last time we will be using Slice.

Have been a long time loyal customer of Slice and it has always rated as one of the best we've had. Looks like new owners and tonight was one of the worst pizzas we've had. Base was hard and overdone. Toppings less generous. What a shame! Will be using Piccasso Aspull from now on.

Really nice guys running this place, nothing too much trouble. Pizzas are best around, they use their own fresh dough. Tasted absolutely delicious. Had spicy chicken wings, cooked perfect and not over fried like previous places I've had from. I will be back here for sure and recommend to anyone wanting tasty takeaway food.

Staff and owner are amazing gives that extra touch to the amazing food. Place always looks clean and tidy which is a must. Definitely coming back, new to the area but I've found my goto Takeaway 😁

Will never order from here again...Good was 20 minutes early but have been up since 3am with the worst stomach pain I have ever experienced, no thanks.

Been twice now foods ok pizza greasy as hell but the waiting time is a joke told turn up in 20 min so did was sat in shop another half hour staff dont no what they doing ask u 10 times what the order is wont go again now

Just been in for a pizza and fries. We ate in and had the american hot. Place is spotlessly clean, foods lovely and the staff are super friendly. Lovely to have something so nice so close. Will definitely be back!

Ordered a 12” pepperoni pizza, was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, great prices for the food and delicious, amazing service too, definitely going back again!

Absolutely delicious. I've never left a review for a takeaway before but this one is so good I had to. Everything's homemade and cooked to perfection. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
