Excellent Persian food and service. You must try their kebabs specially Chenjeh with saffron rice which are heavenly in taste, better quality than a lot of restaurants in iran even. Sepehr's big welcoming and warm welcome as he takes your orders is much appreciated. He and the great staff and delicious Persian food made our family reunion there very memorable indeed.

I had an amazing experience at this Persian restaurant today. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, especially the Persian rice and kebabs, which were outstanding. A special thanks to Behdokht, whose warm smile and exceptional service truly enhanced our dining experience. Her friendly and attentive demeanor made our visit even more enjoyable. Everything was beautiful in Sima's Grill from the beginning how they welcome customers to their wonderful service. Food was so delicious and we enjoyed a lot. Finally, a Persian restaurant that hits the trifecta! Great food, great service and Great Decor! We were warmly greeted by Sepehr who did his best to accommodate us without a booking (book in advance if you are a larger party) we were quickly seated and warmly received. The recommendations that Sepehr gave us were fantastic. We enjoyed soup, salad olivieh, Soltani kebab and Baghela polo with Mahicheh and would happily come back here again and again. We even stayed for tea and sweets and during our visit our every need was anticipated and the attention to detail was excellent 🤩 I look forward to coming back here!

I bought 3 Herby stew (veg) and 3 Ghemeh stews (veg) 1 Ash Reshteh and a Bamieh (veg) take away as I had friends over. This was my first time at this restaurant. Service was fantastic. However, when I got back home and tasted the food, the only way I could describe it was ‘revolting’. I had to throw it all in the bin (with the exception of Bamieh) and cook the food myself. I think it had all come out of tins. Really oily and disgusting. Will not visit again. Lost £72! And had made a long journey. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm for more recent Persian restaurants.

Sima’s Grill is our favorite place in the area, the place has modern atmosphere and it is very clean, we love their food it is absolutely delicious. The meat is always tender and well seasoned, their sides are quite good as well we always come very hungry and they never disappoint. The service is very quick, the staff are very friendly and kind, especially Sepehr his smile is the first thing you see when you enter the restaurant and he always surprises us with something to make us feel special and cared for. We highly recommend!

We found this restaurant on Google maps so were tempering our expectations, but we were blown away by Sima! The food, service and decor were all amazing. Maryam, our waitress, did a great job of patiently explaining the dishes and even advising us when we were going to order too much. They were all really friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist us. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the koobideh and stew! We really appreciated the small touches in the dishes and restaurant, making it an even better dining experience.

I order two kebab dishes it taste great but the rice portion was not enough and the meat could be cooked more as well. It was great experience but i recommend to order extra rice as well.

Ballard road in Finchley is the biggest hub for Iranian diaspora community in London. There are plenty of Persian corner and groceries shops along side of a lot of Persian cuisine restaurants. As a result there is a real competition between these restaurants with variety of prices and qualities. And I think "Sima's Grill" is one of the winners in its kind. Although, you may find some other Persian restaurants around the city with the same quality and taste (or even better), but its customer targeting approach which is more western and modern style make it different to others. While foods taste and quality were very good but it looked a bit of over priced. Service and staff were good too. I recommend it for anyone who wants to enjoy Persian cuisine with style and ready to pay a bit more than most of ordinary Persian restaurants.

I had very bad experiace inthis restaurant i order my food and gad to wait they are taking too many customers than they can deal with staff are under alot of stress after waiting for my food i foud it to be disapointing do not waste your money small place and bad food

Very fine Persian restaurant in the center of Finchley. I passed by on a weekday, there was only one empty table outside the restaurant - you can tell its popularity among Iranian people. I have visited a few Persian restaurants in Finchley, and Sima is the best in terms of food taste. The other ones are either of a family vibe or local vibe, Sima offers more refined dishes. While the price is slightly higher than other Persian restaurants nearby, I do recommend Sima to anyone who would like to have Persian for an occasion.

Sepehr was an amazing waiter. He explained the dishes to us and the traditional way of eating the food adding herbs and spices as well as butter on the rice. The lamb chops and chicken were amazing quality, cooked and seasoned to perfection. I will be returning for another meal

This is a really bad place. We went on the weekend and looked at Google reviews. Don't believe them. We went with my family. The service is terrible and the food is very expensive. The food is very bad. I will not go there again with my family and I will not recommend it to anyone.

This is the best Persian restaurant I ever been! Starting from the lovely staff and of course food and atmosphere is divine!

Sima is one of the more high end Persian restuarants in Finchley, with nice decor and very friendly staff. The food equally matches the setting with subtle, elegant and delightful flavours packed into every dish. The portion sizes are also very good. Alcohol is available to purchase here too, with a good selection of wines. All in all we would come back again to try something new on the menu.

The food was nice and the staff were friendly, but unfortunately, I lost a tooth because there was a pistachio shell on the ice cream. Not sure whose who should take the blame but it left a bad memory!
