We have been here a few times and the food and service is always great. The Kebab was tender and well marinated and the stews are also delicious. Mohaddesseh was especially very kind, welcoming and helpful.💯 Definitely recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went to have lunch with my wife and children on Friday, I must say, I was taken back by how wonderfully tasty the food was, the starters were outstanding! For the mains we went for the traditional grills, we ordered the Royal platter, the meat was excellent! The Khobbehda kebab was spectacular!! Very high quality meat, excellent presentation and a lovely calm, ambient atmosphere to eat… I’d like to give a special thanks to Sepehr who tended to us, a fine gentleman, very helpful, giving us a really pleasant dinning experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, you’ll be hard pressed to find such high quality Persian cuisine in north London. 10/10

First time visitor : we went for a very persian dinner : mint/walnut/cheese salad, pickles, saffron rice, dough drink etc. Tea after - the food was divine. Very aromatic, excellent cooking, and big portions. Will definitely return!

High quality persian food! Best I’ve had in London. Very good atmosphere, polite staff. A bit small but fits around 40 customers but very Modern restaurant and well designed. Alcohol is also served here.

Best place to eat out and try delicious Iranian food

Living locally, I have driven past this many times and looks very appealing from outside. The inside isn't as big as it seems from outside. The atmosphere inside is great and cannot be faulted. Not many tables, so I would recommend calling ahead of time. They do not offer online reservations which is a bit odd, so I assumed walk-ins only, however after calling it seems people either call in advance or walk in and reserve and come back at a later time/date. The lady accommodated and we were able to get a table within 1 hour of calling. I recently found another Persian restaurant so wanted to come here to compare for quality, service and value for money. Overall, this didn't live up to the expectations of the decor and appeal. The food is tasteful and has adequate portions, so you will not go hungry. The chicken and lamb is soft and succulent and cannot be faulted. The hummus was standard. They do not offer any bread and you have to buy the bread basket separate. We also saw the staff leaving to buy bread and then just warming it up to hand out to tables once paid for. Part of the bread was overly heated and hard, with the other breads fine. They had got our order wrong - Chicken with Chips but instead bought it with rice. Another server bought out chips as complimentary to resolve this issue. The food took a long time to come. They also could not accommodate for warm water or room temperature for an elderly person, which confused me as they sell warm drinks and tea. They were just trying to push the purchase of bottled drinks. We had to wait 20minutes for our tea and ice cream, having to prompt the server a couple of times and then them apologising. Likewise with asking for Dips. I didn't expect this before coming here. 1 item ordered did not come and so I told the staff to remove this from the bill as we had now eaten our mains and was not going to pay for an item that never came. Again they apologised and removed it. They do let you sit there for a good few hours, however a lot of time was spent waiting for items ordered or trying to ask the staff to meet the original order. Cannot fault the food here, however it is not value for money when you take into consideration poor service and high cost. Another note is the large pot of Persian tea will only get you around 2 cups per person. In other persian restaurants locally we've had more for less money. 3 people for a birthday meal in Sept-24, 3 mains, 2 starters, bread, 1 drink, tap water, tea, ice cream. £102.68. Considering the poor service and delayed food and missed items, yes the food when it came was nice but overall a miss from me as for this price you would service to be good and not having to constantly chase a server. My personal opinion, from my experience and my order, is I would not come back here as it is not value for money overall and thus the rating. No complaints on the food, however I provide honest reviews based on the overall experience where quality of food is one characteristic.

Amoung Iranian restaurants so far Sima's grill could be number 2 of my choice. Chicken was very fresh, nice amount of salads and friendly staff. I will definitely go back and would recommend to everyone who is fan of Iranian food.

Service slow, asked to sit at a bigger table we were a party of 4 staff said no then a family of 3 were given that table despite so many other tables, thought this was unfair!! staff can’t speak English, they charge for bread!! Over priced Nicely decorated I won’t be going again

Excellent Persian food and service. You must try their kebabs specially Chenjeh with saffron rice which are heavenly in taste, better quality than a lot of restaurants in iran even. Sepehr's big welcoming and warm welcome as he takes your orders is much appreciated. He and the great staff and delicious Persian food made our family reunion there very memorable indeed.

I had an amazing experience at this Persian restaurant today. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Finally, a Persian restaurant that hits the trifecta! Great food, great service and Great Decor! We were warmly greeted by Sepehr who did his best to accommodate us without a booking (book in advance if you are a larger party) we were quickly seated and warmly received. The recommendations that Sepehr gave us were fantastic. We enjoyed soup, salad olivieh, Soltani kebab and Baghela polo with Mahicheh and would happily come back here again and again. We even stayed for tea and sweets and during our visit our every need was anticipated and the attention to detail was excellent 🤩 I look forward to coming back here!

I bought 3 Herby stew (veg) and 3 Ghemeh stews (veg) 1 Ash Reshteh and a Bamieh (veg) take away as I had friends over. This was my first time at this restaurant. Service was fantastic. However, when I got back home and tasted the food, the only way I could describe it was ‘revolting’. I had to throw it all in the bin (with the exception of Bamieh) and cook the food myself. I think it had all come out of tins. Really oily and disgusting. Will not visit again. Lost £72! And had made a long journey. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm for more recent Persian restaurants.

Sima’s Grill is our favorite place in the area, the place has modern atmosphere and it is very clean, we love their food it is absolutely delicious. The meat is always tender and well seasoned, their sides are quite good as well we always come very hungry and they never disappoint. The service is very quick, the staff are very friendly and kind, especially Sepehr his smile is the first thing you see when you enter the restaurant and he always surprises us with something to make us feel special and cared for. We highly recommend!

We found this restaurant on Google maps so were tempering our expectations, but we were blown away by Sima! The food, service and decor were all amazing. Maryam, our waitress, did a great job of patiently explaining the dishes and even advising us when we were going to order too much. They were all really friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist us. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the koobideh and stew! We really appreciated the small touches in the dishes and restaurant, making it an even better dining experience.
