Silver Street in Derry

Came here for bottomless brunch as part of my friend's hen weekend. Highlight of the trip. Great food, fab drinks and great Service.

Mutton dressed up as lamb, uneatable.

We ask for one glass of champagne and a Fanta Lemon with our food as it was Valentine's Day and we wanted to celebrate but I'm on the lower Universal Credit. At no point in taking our order did the guy say "We don't serve one glass of small bottles." We got the fanta and one flute of champagne then they left an open bottle.on the table costs £60 which we where not ask if we wanted or even which brand we would have wanted. Once I got the bill I ask why they gave us the bottle we never ask for he THEN told be we we don't do the smaller ones. I ask why they never told us that then and he lied and said I thought you both wanted to share it "if you thought tnat you would left teo glasses for it." He then.just kept repeating the price was £92.05. What ever little I had left paid for it they guy watched me barely scrap it all together I almost had to ask my partner to help out. I don't know what the con is here. Do the stave get a commission on bottles sold. Gonna be a long week until my next payment. Had to dip into and use the Electric & heat momey for a bottle of champagne that I never even drank. Food wasn't too bad. Oh, on that I finished mine but she was still eating. The menu displayed on the outside window wasn't the menu inside, great location, lovely bar, food was average and service too

The food was fine - the management refused to split our bill correctly and demanded that it be split evenly between 9 of us. Completely ridiculous system.

Love eating there reasonable prices for food .nice spacious for kids and big groupd

Sunday lunch a hi lite great staff

My server jack was absolutely amazing, recommended the pasta witch was so nice and himself was so nice and friendly, thsnkyou jack for your amazing service ☺️

Fantastic food at a really great price in the centre of Derry. Really wouldn't recommend anywhere else for food, it's also a great sports bar if you want to eat while watching football

What can I say we come to Derry Halloween and this year we have spent our 4 eves here for dinner. Everytime we come Annie always meets us with a big smile and hello and no matter how busy they are they always make room and nothing is too much trouble. This year we were also greeted by Charming Jack and the lovely Caoimhe who smiled and laughed even though the crowds were out the door trying to get service. I can't praise these guys enough and so much thanks for looking after us so well everyti me we come. Can not wait to come back 😊

Good food, nice drinks, excellent atmosphere

Delicious food in a fun atmosphere! The lamb shank was lovely!

The feed Flintshire I had was great, but on the other hand my son had loaded chips with chilli beef very dry and chewy, the wife and daughter had wings as a main good thing there not big eaters 4 wings and a hand full of chips was the lot. The both we were in felt kinda dirty and sticky.

Staff are excellent, but the food is not the best, I've had worse though

had my 30th birthday bottomless brunch here on saturday past and can’t recommend the venue and staff enough! food was beautiful and they kept the drinks flowing. thanks again for making the day so amazing. 🥂

Nice venue within the walls of Derry. Wide choice of dishes, very filling and tasty. Great selection of beers on tap. Friendly staff, timely service, pleasant atmosphere. Presence of screens with Sky sports.

Food was delicious everyone loved his food, very spacious dining room and lovely staff. All this at a reasonable price, definitely coming back.

At first from the outside I rejected this place but the after Paiul went to have a drink while I was doing my hair. Paul got back to the the room boasting about the place. So I had to check it. Once entering the premises I was impressed. We sat at the bar to have a drink and the barman so called manager was slightly hostile which at that point it has ruined for me however being the bigger person and because the premises looked food I asked for the food menu and to surprise they do lmb shank and i absolutely love lamb shank. We sat at a private booth and we further drinks and ordered the meal. The meal I must say was absolutely out of this world. Paul and were blown away. Strongly recommend however stay away from the barman.

Great pub to visit during Derry Festival

Good service. The food is frozen but you can easily guess it before even opening the door. Not great, not really bad either. Pretty good beer, and a large screen for sports

We spontaneously took the bus into the city for dinner and came across this shop right after the stop. Friendly welcome and got a table straight away. We were really positively surprised by the food. There is also a good selection of main courses for vegetarians. My son's haloumi burger and my vegetable lasagne were worth the money (there is a side food for each, e.g. garlic potatoes) and were served very fresh and hot. Good selection of drinks (The Cobra beer is really tasty :-) and recommended. Great atmosphere and pleasant audience.

My favourite place when in Derry great food and service

Myself and a few friends had drinks and a meal with mixed reviews. Service for drinks and ordering was quick enough, but the meal was slow in coming, which we wouldn't have minded except for the fact that we were told we had to move tables at a certain time, after we had ordered. There was a wine of the week advertised on the way in at a special price, but when we asked for it, we were told there had been no bottles left since the previous day. Some of our food was lukewarm, one of the party actually returned hers. Some dishes were really tast y and piping hot. Service in general was friendly and the atmosphere was busy and buzzing. Prices were reasonable.

Perfect Tried booking but they could not accept reservations. On arrival greeted by the the mist pleasant waiter and a table for four was not a problem although they were rammed to the doors. Service was very quick,pleasant and meal 3 course only £20.00 per head could not fault meal,service and atmosphere 10/10 can't wait to return

Arrived as a walk-in with my partner and son and were accommodated immediately and led to the balcony area the place was packed with everyone enjoying themselves and service was exceptional and very fast food was ordered and arrived very quickly and was the nicest meal I've had in a very long time wish I could give you more star's

Went here a few times with the misses, food was always good quality pints of Guinness are tasty too , would recommend

My husband and I went to Silver Street for lunch upon the recommendation of a local while we were visiting Derry. The food was very good (I had the steak and Guinness pie) and the service was also good. Highly recommend.

This place is epic! I loved the decor and colour scheme. Some great booths too. Food was lovely and we didn’t have to wait ages for it. Two courses for £16.50. Cocktail offers available too.

Excellent food and service no complaints staff were wonderful

We didn't eat but just the setting and atmosphere of this pub is worth a look!! The small private lounges provide cozy places to be a little isolated from the rest of the restaurant. We were seated high up on high tables and the service is at the bar when we are not eating, which is not clear at first glance but which is not disturbing. The place is magnificent and the charm of the old buildings from the early 1900s is still preserved and is very pleasant. I recommend without hesitation.

Typical English establishment, with a great atmosphere to drink pints or eat something, it is very good

Sunday dinner, wouldn't rate it, roast beef bought in frozen batches and defrosted no doubt. No flavor in veg. Can't comment on rest of menu but it's enough to put me off returning given there are much better out there

terrible terrible terrible, waited 45 minutes for my food just for it to come under cooked and i told them i can’t have red onion and they put a whole one in the middle of my salad not even chopped

Great spot for easy simple tasty dishes

Staff were very friendly on arrival and showing us to our table. Service was quick,Food was very tasty and delicious,cooked to perfection. Great variety on the cocktail menu (let's say we may have sampled a few). We then stayed on for a few drinks after our food,atmosphere was good and the dj playing was good. Over all a very positive experience and a great evening.

What a delightful spot for food and drinks the trio of tacos is a must to taste defo a 9 out of 10 in the Derry area

My first visit here was quite surprising for a City center venue ,mainly the price for a three course meal and a soft drink was just £20.The staff were very helpful and friendly and the meal and menu was very much what you'd expect from the price range but it tasted really good and was presented well ,worth another visit again soon.
