Silver Street in Derry

Very nice place to eat. They have a very good gulten free menu.

Arrived as a walk-in with my partner and son and were accommodated immediately and led to the balcony area the place was packed with everyone enjoying themselves and service was exceptional and very fast food was ordered and arrived very quickly and was the nicest meal I've had in a very long time wish I could give you more star's

Went here a few times with the misses, food was always good quality pints of Guinness are tasty too , would recommend

My husband and I went to Silver Street for lunch upon the recommendation of a local while we were visiting Derry. The food was very good (I had the steak and Guinness pie) and the service was also good. Highly recommend.

This place is epic! I loved the decor and colour scheme. Some great booths too. Food was lovely and we didn’t have to wait ages for it. Two courses for £16.50. Cocktail offers available too.

Excellent food and service no complaints staff were wonderful

We didn't eat but just the setting and atmosphere of this pub is worth a look!! The small private lounges provide cozy places to be a little isolated from the rest of the restaurant. We were seated high up on high tables and the service is at the bar when we are not eating, which is not clear at first glance but which is not disturbing. The place is magnificent and the charm of the old buildings from the early 1900s is still preserved and is very pleasant. I recommend without hesitation.

Sunday dinner, wouldn't rate it, roast beef bought in frozen batches and defrosted no doubt. No flavor in veg. Can't comment on rest of menu but it's enough to put me off returning given there are much better out there

Great spot for easy simple tasty dishes

Staff were very friendly on arrival and showing us to our table. Service was quick,Food was very tasty and delicious,cooked to perfection. Great variety on the cocktail menu (let's say we may have sampled a few). We then stayed on for a few drinks after our food,atmosphere was good and the dj playing was good. Over all a very positive experience and a great evening.

What a delightful spot for food and drinks the trio of tacos is a must to taste defo a 9 out of 10 in the Derry area

Was there for a after party of the Waterside Half Marathon. Food was good, had 0.00% Beer which was greatly appreciated

My first visit here was quite surprising for a City center venue ,mainly the price for a three course meal and a soft drink was just £20.The staff were very helpful and friendly and the meal and menu was very much what you'd expect from the price range but it tasted really good and was presented well ,worth another visit again soon.

Food was alright service took quite a long time. Then ordered a Jam sponge cake with custard it came with coconut flakes on it and I absolutely hate coconut. My boyfriend and I waited for 2 cakes for an HOUR. Then when the guy asked if there was anything wrong and I told him about the cake he basically ignored and said that it does come with coconut yet the menu clearly says just jam sponge? It was dead as well The only thing that was good was the prices and drinks that’s about it

Greeted with a friendly welcome and seated. Good food selection and the portion sizes were good and tasty. Service was a little on the slow side but that didn’t bother us too much. Good selection of drinks, would return

My partner, my son and I were in Londonderry at the weekend for the Maritime Festival and for Saturday night we had booked into Silver Street. The had booked for half five and were a few minutes late but it was no issue, we got seated and the atmosphere was electric with a great mix of people and good music with some sport on the tellys dotted around the place. But, the most important thing and the reason we were there was for the food and it was absolutely banging! From putting the order in until it arrived wasn't a long wait and it was delicious. My partner had sirloin, I had the gammon and the wee man had sausages and it was all cooked perfectly. We had drinks and my partner had a cocktail which was superb too. We were in Londonderry for the weekend but hadn't booked anything for the following night, we seen they do a Sunday menu and booked for the following night it was that good. Three course Sunday dinner, the perfect trimmings, all brilliant and again, a great atmosphere. Both nights, the food was great, the drinks were great, the atmosphere is great and ultimately the price is extremely decent for the amount and quality we had. I would definitely recommend anyone going to Londonderry for the day or a night to try Silver Street for their food.

Great vibe, but the menu on the window wasn't the one we got. A lot less choice on a Sunday, especially since we're pescatarian. Had the fish n chips, it was OK at best.

What a wonderful place! Come hungry… 3 course Sunday meal is amazing… homemade vegetable soup, roast beef W/ mashed & roasted potatoes.. carrots & cabbage.. and for dessert Belgian waffle with ice cream.. great staff and atmosphere.. A+

As wetherspoon pubs go this is a good one. Had dinner and drinks there two evenings. Both were excellent. Great selection of beers and spirits at very reasonable prices. Staff were ok some very good others shouldn't be there.

Walked in nice atmosphere was seated and waited on quickly food came in a timely manor. Finished eating and wait 35 to 40 min for our bill. No one even came and offered us more drinks.

Great eatery in the heart of the City...food was good and staff were excellent...pleasant and helpful..such an open atmosphere in this old restored building..well worth a visit...

Had a pleasant dinner here. Nice burger with breaded halloumi with some sautéed mushrooms on the side. And when I mean some, I mean the most mushrooms I have ever ate in one go in my life! Lovely stuff.

Waitress forgot one of the kids drinks. Then kid order from kids menu and asked for a pepperoni pizza got cheese. He did attempt to eat it but left some as it tasted burnt. I tried 1 slice and had the burnt after taste for some time. While dinner was being served we asked for another drink for the kids and it took almost 20 minutes and that's only because we had to ask another server. Apart from this the price was fair and I know they can do better. However this time around 3 stars.

Been quite a while since I ate in here so fancied a change , If you fancy a microwave dinner I’d say go for it, Then order the mushy fish dipped in grease, For deffs I’ll never be back

Vibrant city centre bar with excellent bar food menus, good friendly service in comfortable, tastefully decorated surroundings. Good Covid control measures.

Yet another fantastic meal and dessert and a lovely Guinness here today. Always a pleasure to visit this place when I'm in Derry.
