Silver Sea Chinese Takeaway in Redbridge

This place has exceptional food at a very reasonable price. I would not order anywhere else, and haven’t done for years. Local legend.

Ordered on Uber Eats, chicken with cashews came with burnt (literally black) cashews spread on top. Beef with spring onions and ginger must have been swapped with something else. It was full of bell peppers and not a spring onion in sight. Butterfly prawns were mostly coating, very very little prawn under the thick layer of coating. Only thing we enjoyed was the noodles. Terribly disappointed.

Been in the area since 1993 and never used this place until now and the food is fantastic ,fresh and perfect portions all at a great price I will be back

Good value for money. The place looks like a classic oldschool Chinese takeaway. Don't be discouraged by dark glass up front. Amount of meat/protein could be more generous. I am happy that I gave this place a try. Squid with spring onions and ginger was great.

Excellent food and service Top transitional and super affordable

Used to come here all the time then moved out of the area. Decided to go here again while visiting parents forgot how good the food is. Only down side is they don't deliver.

Very nice, good quality Chinese food. They have been in the area for years. Must give them a try. Good value for money.
