Honestly, for food taste, excellent service, and a lovely , friendly atmosphere, this is the very best restaurant in the Country

What a great dining experience. Wonderful menu, fantastic service, truly exceptional food. An absolute joy dining there. Friendly, helpful staff.

Sika by Niall restaurant was recommended to my wife and i by a friend.We arrived thirty minutes early and we were met by Patricia.Immediately we were struck by her service; Sharp,fast,personable and enthusiastic--not a detail missed.The ambiance immediately lent itself to a special dinning experience.Drinks were delivered with a smile and the Tomato and Wild Garlic bread as a taster set the tone for the beautiful food that was to follow.The Leek and Potato soup accompanied by The Guiness Wheaten bread was exemplary.We were spoiled for choice on the Mains!!!My wife settled on Stuffed breast corn fed cicken with bacon &pea risotto,mushroom&tarragon sauce!! This dish delivered taste,texture &flavour in abundance.The pan fried salmon with baby boil,sundried tomato,rocket andsaffron sauce was my choice.Every ingredient in this dish was given maximum respect by the chef.We had to savour a couple of desserts!!I would highly suggest you try the Apple and Berry crumble with custard &ice-cream!!Magical!!Our experience of Sika by Niall was beautiful!! The dishes were cooked with a surgeon's precision and served by an excellent,professional waitresses.Our advice is you must try it!! We can't wait to return.

It was warmer outside! No signage to advise people the heating was off or broken. They had a few portable heaters but it was uncomfortably cold! The service was good, the food delicious though the menu only detailed starters and main courses not the side dishes and costs required to complete your meal, strange!? We will return in summer!

We’d booked for lunch. On arrival our booking wasn’t on the list however the member of staff dealt with this so well and we were seated straight away. Best ever. We’d a fantastic menu to select from. We had the venison burger and pork belly. Our food was fantastic and the service exceptional. We will definitely return. The setting is really lovely

Excellent food. An upmarket version of Sunday lunch.The pheasant sausage roll was delicious as was the turkey and ham.Everyone in our party was very happy with their meal. Very attentive staff. Definitely will be back .

We were staying with family around the corner and the five of us booked in for a Friday evening. We were all very impressed with the food and the presentation was amazing. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the food. Would definitely return and would recommend to others!

It was our first visit and we loved it! The staff were welcoming and very attentive. Adapting dishes to be vegan friendly was no problem at all. Really relaxing atmosphere ✨ the presentation of the food was lovely and the flavour of everything was delicious! Will definitely be back

Visited Sika by Niall today for the first time and it certainly won't be the last. We ate from the high tea menu and the food was absolutely first class. The staff were knowledgeable and explained the menu very well. An excellent experience all round

This was our first visit. We didn't have reservations but dropped in for an early dinner. We were warmly welcomed and seated. We both opted for the exceptionally well priced High Tea menu (this seems like an early bird menu). Some very nice options but we both had duck parfait with toasted brioche with a delicious chutney. This was followed by braised daube of beef, colconnon mash and braising juices (a silky, tasty gravy to me!). We ordered a side of vegetables which were good. Dessert was an apple and berry crumble with custard and ice cream. Lovely staff, good food and excellent value. We look forward to our next visit.

First visit certainly not last. Amazing service from really nice staff. Fabulous food with great gap between courses. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Lovely atmosphere and definitely a return visit in the cards.

Warm welcome as soon as you come through the door, Patricia who is front of house is an absolute asset to the business she cannot do enough for customers and her attention to detail is amazing. The restaurant is well proportioned and there is a massive outdoor space which was great with the recent good weather. Food was absolutely outstanding and is extremely well presented. Portion sizes were also very good. Sika by niall is a great spot and a very welcome addition to Sion Mills.

Visited this restaurant for the first time this evening and I was absolutely delighted with the food and service. The food was cooked, and presented to an exceptional standard. The service from staff was excellent. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Will be back very soon.

was taken here as a surprise for my 30th birthday lovely romantic wee spot I loved the feel of the place from when we walked in. we were shown to our table to who I assume was the owner Niall he was very friendly and assured us if we need anything don't hesitate to ask. The floor staff were very attentive we never had to ask for anything. I had a sirloin medium rare which was cooked to perfection and presented very well and my girlfriend had a chicken supreme with a bacon & pea risotto I'm a chef myself and I couldn't recommend this place more I've taken my girlfriend all over the country to top restaurants and we reckon this is the best folks highly recommend. sika by Niall will do well food 5* service 5*

Good food, attentive service and nice atmosphere however if youre promoting yourself as “elegant dining with VIP service” then the devil is going to be in the detail. Our starters and desserts were excellent but my steak was a little dry, cooked medium as requested but I feel the dryness came from the leanness of the steak rather than how it was cooked. Perhaps a little more marbling would have made it “juicier”, but it was still good and was a proper 12 oz steak! After being told what the specials were, I decided to order these but was told they weren’t available, so better communication between front of house and the kitchen would be useful. We also had to ask for napkins and there wasn’t any pepper on the table. The beer selection was quite limited and drab and bottled beer was served in a glass branded for the Draught beer, again, simple things but it’s not elegant or VIP. Maybe a return visit would show that these are just teething problems?
