Ordered takeaway via Just Eat. £12.30 for char siu. Fairly measley portion and was overcooked and dry. Had high hopes based on other photos but just disappointing.

We are the regular customer of the restaurant for many years, but recently the service became unpleasant. A young lady looking like Chinese but having Karean tattoo on her arm is very unprofessional and unfriendly. It affects the relaxing and happy meal time for customers.

Food was ok, some dishes were better than others. However, service was an issue for me. All the waiters were fine apart from the young lady who was our main server - I found her very unwelcoming and she was wearing her earphones all night when serving us. Whenever we spoke to her, she was rude and dismissive. Even when she was putting dishes on our table, we took the plate from her to just help as the table was quite full with plates and she looked very angry. It’s a shame as it just made the environment unpleasant overall.

Let me start by saying be warned the spicy food is really spicy!! The house tea was good. Hot and sour soup was delicious warm and necessary on the rather crisp day and more importantly because of the rest of the meal. Excellent Singapore fried rice. The chow mein was acceptable. Chicken and lotus root was okay. Now for the rest - the fragrant chilli chicken was a bit ho hum- small overly crisp chicken bits with no flavour but lots of fried dried red chillies. The sichuan prawns had a fair amount of Sichuan flavour- enough to numb parts of the mouth. Again a surfeit of dried chilli. Having said that portion sizes were good. Will need to go back and try other dishes as the chill dishes, while living up to the name were disappointing. Lots of people of Chinese origin were eating there while we were there which says a lot about the authenticity- we just need to go back and try other dishes

I had the kung pao chicken and it was delicious. The portion was big and with rice on the side I couldn't finish it all. Service was great. I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere as I went in around 5pm and it was quiet. Can't fault the food. Superb

Had a family member’s birthday celebration here with the extended family. We were looked after properly. Delicious food, reasonably priced.

Was busy when I was there on a Saturday night but I got a table. Staff were friendly and efficient. The menus look tired and the food tastes pretty average. Price is ok but not great value given quality of food. I didn’t see any sign of the karaoke.

Sent a dish back that was so dry and had so much chilli it was impossible to eat, to be told it wouldn’t be replaced with something palatable because they told us it was spicy, twice. I don’t need to say twice how cheap and nasty this place is. Stay well away. -add. The response from the restaurant that what was served was not supposed to be eaten (eg it is some sort of garnish, decoration or flavouring) is moot as it was ALL inedible. No part of this dish could be eaten, that’s why it was sent back. After a google search have failed to find this as normal practice in any part of Sichuan, or in the world. It is as if after being mugged the police have responded ‘this is normal in this area, google it.’

You can enjoy authentic and delicious Sichuan cuisine. The price is not bad either. I gave it 4 stars because the video being played inside the store was a little vulgar and not appropriate. By the way, the name of the restaurant is ``Sichuan Girl,'' which means a beautiful woman with a spicy side.

Come now and then for special sichuan dishes. Also, they are very accommodating on food spicy levels as you can have non spicy food versions as well. Defo recommended the deep fried sweet bun dipped with condense milk, perfect with Karaoke. We booked the larger room with a minimum spend (which varies) that could sit max 20 people are plently of spaces still. The minimum spend can be achieved by spending on food and drinks combined, the room is technically free! Alot of places in London have these ridiculous extra charges for the rooms per hour on top of a minimum spend, this place is an exception as of this review date. Anyways, back to the food, if you would like to try authentic sichuan styled food then its the place to go! or after your trip from IKEA or finish watching a movie in the ODEON. Food/Drinks and Karaoke worked out like £45pp i recall, so that's a bargain for what you normally spend on a night out for dinner at a franchised restaurant or sth.

The food is tasty and flavourful - some of the dishes in my opinion was a bit too oily but it was nice that they have options to make the dish less spicy! The orange and lemon sorbet was very delicious and very well presented!

Food 8/10, service 8/10. Nice authentic Szechuan restaurant in Greenwich and Isle of Dogs (via tunnel) area. The dish is awesome and tasty, however, could be more spicy to close with really authentic Szechuan cuisine hopefully. The value of dishes also reasonable, seem like much different than some pricy and worthless Chinese restaurants. Recommend to have a try if you hang out or visit IKEA Greenwich and O2 around. Tried it after 2 years still keep high quality for the food. (May 2024) 💷£15-25 (without Karaoke); 💁🏼‍♂️10-15mins.

The food is super authentic, which meant to my palate I was not quite enjoying it, but that's more a factor of me not having eaten proper Chinese food. The quality of the food was really good. What really let down the experience was the ambience,or the lack of. Needs updating.

This is hands down the best Chinese in the whole wide world. I actually go to London just to eat here. The staff are amazing, food is finger licking and the owner Amie is so attentive and respectful, and above all it’s reasonable priced. Thanks 🤩

We have had the seafood set menu and the hotpot on separate occasions. Both were amazing. They are definitely not stingy with the amount of food. The lobster in the ginger sauce was delicious. If you like spicy go with the spicy ma-la soup base for the hotpot. It's a bit on the pricey side but the food is amazing and authentic.

A very lovely atmosphere and lovely food. My 6 year old enjoyed her butterfly king prawns and my youngest enjoyed the special fried rice. The pork was beautifully cooked and my husband enjoyed the chicken wings and crispy beef. Overall a lovely day to go for lunch. The resteraunt also packed our food away in a type of bento box. Thank you for this lovely experience.

Authentic Sichuan cuisine. The portion were fairly big and nice spicy flavored. If you like spicy and hot Chinese food. This is a great choice.

The Sichuan cuisine is very good and the taste is very exciting. The only small regret is that the spicy hot pot is boiled, and the method may be different in each place.

This is one of the few Szechuan places in Greenwich and we visit it every so often when we are in the Charlton/North Greenwich area. This time we had the dry fried beans, spicy beef 'jerky' (cold starter section), Japanese tofu, beef slices in chilli oil and the dan-dan noodles. Of the lot, the beans were probably best, followed by the beef jerky. Warning, the jerky has a good kick and my hubby loves it. We'll probably try a different tofu dish next time. The same goes for the noodles as we felt that they were a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, by Greenwich standards, it is decent and reasonably priced.

Today I took my mother out to eat for mothers day and by far this was the worst chinese food we’ve ever eaten. She had the chinese fried rice which was bland and tasteless, it was like boiled rice with bits added in. After asking for chilli oil to try and make it eatable, what came was mostly oil than chilli and so it didnt help a bit. The rice hardly had barely any chicken and a few shredded carrots, not even any peas which is standard in any other chinese restaurant in the country. I ordered the singapore fried rice which was YELLOW! there is no genuine chinese restaurant that serves singapore fried rice the colour yellow which was my first clue of how it would be, also it wasnt at all spicy and did not taste as it shouldve done. We also foolishly ordered the ribs which were tiny cut up pieces of meat, im not even sure if it was pork, that was mainly bone than meat. We ended up not finishing our food and packing it away so that we could refry it at home and make it edible. As people who eat chinese regularly on special occasions at places like tai tip mein and red lion, we know what to expect, we’ve never been to a restaurant and had a bad word to say about their food till today, its like the chef didnt even try. My mum actually complained to the woman serving us who came up with an obviously fake excuse that the chef who usually cooks for them is on holiday and that she agrees with us and “notices the difference in quality” herself, which just tells us that other people complain about the food. Our biggest regret today is paying for it, for the price we had to pay for such rubbish, we should have just stood up and walked out. Our mothers day meal was ruined. DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT!

Restaurant located within a multi shopping complex. It also has private karaoke rooms. A group of us gathered here for Sichuan ma la hotpot. Options on the menu have been limited and there’s extra charge for items that used to be included in the unlimited menu. Service was standard. Overall had a lovely meal and enjoyed the hotpot just a shame the menu choices are now limited compared to before.

Great authentic food with plenty of chilli if that's what you like! Staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful with my gluten free requests. We had to take quite a bit home with us due to generous portions!

Went for hotpot, they never mentioned of missing food items which was 👎🏼 then when we asked for lamb again they gave us beef saying its lamb, I asked again they insisted it was lamb but i didnt give up then they said yes sorry its beef and took it back even tho it was on our table for good 10mins, I feel like they did it on purpose, had to call them many times but they didn't want to look around here so overall I didn't want to pay for service fee, they had an whole argument and said if u dont tip dont come back, I said ok bye (bill was £135)

My favourite Sichuan restaurant in London. Been eating here for almost a decade and never had a bad meal. The team is so gracious. I have also booked their karaoke rooms It's the best offer on in town. My favourite dishes ( I want to order everything) haha. But some all time favourites are - green chilli rabbit, baby squid in preserved chilli, razor clams in chilli, tofu with vegetables, cauliflower and pork sizzler, fish fragrant aubergines, to name a few. Portions are so generous, we always over order and bring leftovers on purpose, so we can enjoy the food a bit longer.

DO NOT COME HERE!! FOOD IS HORRENDOUS!! STAFF ARE RUDE!!! I WOULDN’T HAVE EVEN GIVEN 1 STAR!! I can’t believe the service we received today this place needs to be closed!! Whoever, is the owner needs to reconsider their staff because it’s absolutely shocking!! I’ve never been to a restaurant experienced the lack of respect for customers it’s disgusting!! I’m so upset with the way one of the older employers spoke to us today she is lucky we paid for the meal what a cheek!!

Do not order the hot pot Made the mistake of ordering the hot pot which is £28.50pp. This consisted of beef, lamb, FROZEN prawns, cheap seafood sticks, a wierd looking fish that had a vile smell and other random assorted items. The sauces we were given consisted of old jars and bottles straight from the kitchen with a spoon stuck in them for our own mixing. Now on to the broth, despite the big bone floating around in it, it was basically boiling water. The whole experience was a complete let down and quite stressful for us both. £70 for boiled water and stinky fish.

Food very good as always. Service was first rate. Girls so polite , friendly and efficient. I would recommend you try this place.

Having travelled a fair bit to Hong Kong, it's great to find a place that sells authentic stuff as opposed to the stuff you grow up with in London. Be sure to try the fried green beans, the twice cooked pork, lamb with cumin... They also do hot pot.

This venue provides karaoke for up to 12 people in a room. The food was good. The szchuan chilli chicken was very hot.

Visited for a girls night out for dinner and karaoke. The karaoke booths are upstairs and you are completely uninterrupted by the restaurant downstairs. There’s no buzzer for service in rooms so you will have to pop your head out the door to gain their attention but every so often they do come and check on you. The food service is quick and the food comes in an average temperature, not too hot but not cold lol. The karaoke selection is rather old but exhaustive: so you’ve got to like your classics. Slightly hard to operate as English is not its first preset, but easy to get the hang of. Overall the atmosphere is what you make it; so make sure you come full of vibes!

My experience was 5* Service was amazing we had the lovely waiter who helped us order and listened to our amendments. Food was IMMACULATE! Never had better chinese food before. Atmosphere was lovely and homey,they made us feel welcome 🤗 Cleanliness is spot on everything was very clean and tidy. The best dish was the AUBERGINE ! Great authentic Sichuan food, really spicy 🔥. The cauliflower is a most alongside smashed cucumber and cold noodles. Limited tables but worth the wait there is also karaoke rooms here as well.

Went there to join friends for karaoke. We were assigned a private room, good sound isolation. Food was just okay but noth worth the price. Atmosphere feels a bit sad and cheap. Service was good though.

Most importantly they serve great and authentic Sichuan food, if you like a real chilli heat kick, this is the place for you. It's not a huge restaurant or the prettiest but everyone working there is friendly and helpful, there's a big menu and it's well priced. Huge free to use car park too. Have loved every visit.

Came here again after long Covid period. The food was totally different now. Put a lot of low quality stuff into every dishes. No taste for all. Include Dandan Mian. Don’t call yourself Sichuan any more. You are damaging Sichuan reputation!

The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and the price of the food is reasonable. I love coming to karaoke here as it has everything you need. Especially if you love spicy food and singing. They offer standard takeout, eat in as well. The only thing is if you don't drive or can't be asked to travel then it's a bummer as the location can be not convenient for some.

i went there last saturday. so dispointed with the food and service. the portion of the dishes were significantly smaller than before. service also terrible without their onsite.

Possibly the best Sichuan we've had. This was the first time we tried their Hot Pot. Gorgeous flavour in the broth. We took away some lamb ribs and fried chicken which exceeded our expectations of flavour and spice levels. Not for the faint hearted.

We had food poisoning symptoms a few hours after eating here. All the dishes were tasty and authentic though.

I really enjoyed eating here. They have quite a bit of vegan options. A lot of food is spicy though as it is after all Sichuan cuisine. But they also have several Southern China / Hong Kong/ Guangdong dishes. Great portions at reasonable prices.

Second time coming here for food and karaoke, mainly for karaoke though. But food was delicious , enough spice but not to blow your head off, really good food! With karaoke there were good song choices!

Pros: Staffs are nice and friendly. And there ain't much Sichuan-Chinese options around. Cons: The food here is B- or maybe a Pass. It's not terribly bad, but I would rather make some noodles at home if time permits. The main issue is that salt usage, some dishes too salty and some too plain. Price is slightly higher than it deserves but still acceptable. Note: too much salt & MSG (visible in the photo attached) can dehydrate your mouth for the whole day.

Been coming here for a few years on and off. But have to say the last few times the standard of food has been consistent. We generally go for the karaoke rooms where we can have a sing and dance and be as loud as we want without disturbing other diners. The only let down from it being a 5 star is some of the dishes can be a little to salty, and the service can be a little slow.

Interesting szechuan food (which seems authentic) and almost all dishes delicious! A great mixture of familiar and challenging dishes with bright flavours. We vastly over-ordered but were offered the chance to take it home for a second bout tomorrow. Very friendly service.

There is no taste or flavour at all. Do they taste the food before serving it to customers? Is this a low-sodium restaurant? Did the cook happen to be unwell? All staff are all friendly, the restaurant is a spacious Sichuan restaurant with a nice atmosphere and a good menu, but I was disappointed because the food had no taste and Umami at all. It was a shame because the food looked delicious and there was a good amount of it, but why wasn't it tasty? I wish they would check the taste before serving.

My go to spot for karaoke, decided to come for hot pot this time and it didn't disappoint! Food was on point, generous and really tasty broths. The staff are always friendly here, we often come for birthdays and gatherings and always have a great time. 5 stars all round!

I would give 0 stars if I could . The bottom of my food was freezing cold and the top was hot , my friend asked for ice in my friends drink and he was simply ignored . We asked for the bill and kindly asked not to pay the service charge and then was told “not to come again “ so we proceeding to ask to speak to a manager and the manager who said “don’t come again “ as we choose not to Pay service charge . Staff were very rude and disrespectful and do not know the meaning of customer service will never be returning and the food was very mediocre.

DO NOT ATTEND THIS RESTAURANT!! I attended a group event with friends and their service was appalling!! we would receive our items in 20 minute intervals and not an apology for any of it. When our allotted time was up, they told us to hurry up and get out and that we were all acting like ‘bitches’. And that came from the manager 😂. We decided that we were not going to pay the service charge and they asked us why and insulted us even more. Their food was not even up to par also. I honestly do not recommend this place if you want to have a good meal and enjoy the experience.

I’d give this place 0 stars if i could, the customer service was absolutely appalling. we was left the whole evening without being checked on and when we asked for the bill the waiter went to eat his meal! we decided against paying for the service charge and to my surprise we were shouted at, told to eat at home next time, not to come back and that we couldn’t split the bill between cards. all because we weren’t paying service charge! the company seems utterly depressing, i think it’s time they pack up. p.s please do not take your children as they are at risk of being shouted at too.

If I could give this place a zero I really would. Food was mediocre and customer service was extremely poor. First of all a staff member shouted at a child for playing in the restaurant. Secondly, we weren’t tended to by staff adequately. At all even. We asked for the bill three times and ended up having to go up to the counter. We asked for service charge to be removed and got shouted at by staff. Was told to ‘stay at home and cook’ and ‘never come back’. Was also told that we couldn’t split the bill because we weren’t paying the service charge - service ended immediately because of this. God forbid you have an issue with the service! Go at your own risk.

If I could give 0 star I would. I was excited to try out this restaurant. We got the set menu and the food was SO DRY. I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t finish it. Firstly one of the workers shouted at one of the kids that was running around the restaurant. Then we asked for the bill which we did t receive. Went up to ask for the bill and asked for them to take service charge of. The man then started shouting at us saying “why did you come if you don’t want to pay service charge” “you should’ve just eaten at home” “don’t come back” “you come here and eat our food and don’t want to pay service charge” we asked if they could split the bill in 3 and they said “no you don’t want to pay service charge so why should we help you by splitting it”. Then had the audacity to ask again if we’re paying for the service charge after shouting at us. I’m honestly so traumatised and embarrassed because the everyone in the restaurant could hear how they were shouting at us for not wanting to pay for a service that we didn’t receive. Honestly disgusted.
