Nestled away in the leafy suburbs of Aston, I was pleased to be invited to this gem of an establishment for a get together of friends, post COVID lockdown. The design of this bar has been well thought out. Although outdoors, the venue was dry, despite the rain, being well sheltered and warm, with more than enough heaters and blankets to keep Eskimos warm. Adaptable as either casual bar, sports bar or cinema, with its large televisions being clearly viewable from all areas of the bar. Good selections of beers and spirits available. Staff are welcoming and friendly, with the owner preferring to get his guests to serve the other guests, allowing himself to socialise. Although advertised as a Grill, food for this event was not available, with the owner preferring to support the local community takeaway establishments and having food delivered. That said, traditional bar snacks were available. Overall, a wonderful little bar and one I hope to return to again and again. Would recommend
