Ok for battery hens. Male member of staff insisted on squeezing five of us onto a table for four in a corner where two seats were blocked by another table Table cluttered with fifteen pieces of crockery plus condiment box. Not a good experience..

Been a frequent visitor for years now, and never had a bad experience. They are all so friendly and welcoming. What I particularly like about this place is that they are very accommodating towards children. They always give my little boy some plastic cutlery so we don’t need to worry about bringing our own. I don’t see this a lot in other cafés/ restaurants, so this is definitely a big plus. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, lots of menu choices too. Looking forward to our next visit.

Contacted the business to see if they made Gluten Free products with being Coeliac.The business could not have been more helpful. I ordered a range of pies and I have just had my first 2 Pies. WOW: These Gluten Free Pies are better than I have had anywhere! The pastry was moist in the mouth and the fillings are excellent.You should feel extremely proud of what you are doing. We visited over Christmas twice and ordered a pie for New Years Eve. This is a gem of a place, feel very fortunate to have such a local amazing cafe. Would recommend 100%

This is a lovely cafe , the owners are fantastic , I’m recently diagnosed coeliac and they really looked after me and kept me informed to my many questions ! I have also had gluten free cakes from here that are fantastic ! During lockdown Shevington village kitchen also provided a delivery service of meals and produce and I took advantage of this , again fantastic food and amazing staff!

This is a fantastic little cafe in Shevington Village and the food and staff never disappoint. Good quality food at reasonable prices. Nothing is too much trouble.👍👍

We had the festive menu today , pate , black pudding stack , roast salmon and turkey dinner ,was so full we took home our desserts ,everything was piping hot and delicious, staff very attentive and very efficient, very clean environment, such a pleasure visit , we will definitely be back , thank you so much

Had christmas menu with friends it was delicious and plentiful staff were really great nothing was too much trouble we had booked the table well in advance because we know how popular this place is highly recomended so much so i got a take away xmas lunch for my father in laws tea

Lovely local cafe, great food and lovely staff, regularly visit throughout the year for lunch, lots of choices on the menu. The Christmas lunch was fantastic value, turkey dinner with all the trimmings, delicious mince pie cheesecake for dessert. Highly recommended.

I dine here with a friend at least once a week and we absolutely love it. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. We have breakfast most visits and they are freshly cooked to order. This week we have thoroughly enjoyed their festive menu with different people (twice). Excellent food, piping hot and very reasonably priced. They have an extensive menu and they cater for most people’s taste/preferences. They are happy for my friends dog to accompany us and the fact that many of their customers are regulars tells you everything. They are an excellent asset to our village and for some pensioners a social lifeline.

I use this place fairly regularly and decided I’d book in for two people for Christmas Dinner. I had the Pea and ham soup and my friend, the black pudding stack. Both starters we lovely and set us up for the main! We both had the turkey dinner and if I really had to be critical, a couple mor pigs in blankets would have been good, but let’s not detract from a beautiful dinner! Dessert menu, Now my friend had gone on about the mince pie cheese cake for months, so I bowed to pressure and went with it…… absolutely beautiful!! I could go on but that best describes it. So all in all 5* all day long, amazing staff and beautiful food!!👏👏👏👏

Earlier this week we booked the festive afternoon tea from Shevington Village Kitchen. The staff are always pleasant and even as the takeaway option the afternoon tea was beautifully presented. There was a varied selection of tasty sandwiches, savouries and cakes, a couple of unexpected festive sweet treats were also included, which made us smile. It was all delicious and a little too much for one sitting so we were able to have a couple of treats the following day! Thoroughly enjoyable and good value for money, well worth having.

Fantastic first visit to this cosy cafe today for a late breakfast. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I was very impressed by the variety of vegan food! I had vegan sausage (Linda's) on toast and an oat hot chocolate, both very yummy. I also got a cake to take with me and there was loads of vegan cake options too! This is a popular spot and we were lucky to get a table! We'll absolutely be visiting again soon

A huge menu with a variety of delicious foods, including slimming meals. They have a variety of fresh cakes. They also sell cards and food essentials. They do takeaways also. Food is freshly prepared and staff are lovely and friendly.

I’d definitely recommend this cafe, the staff was so friendly they couldn’t do enough for me and my friend, I’ve never been before but I’ll definitely be coming back, the food was 10/10

Nice atmosphere. Food was ok. Lots of little items for sale in there which is quite unusual. My latte mug was all worn out though which did not make a great first impression. Covered in text but it was mostly worn off and there were many little chips on the rim of the glass.

Ordered two big breakfasts for collection at 11.45 Friday 2nd Feb. Arrived at the time and they were ready and waiting. Whizzed round to my sisters with them. Eggs still runny. Surprise black pudding under the egg. Hash browns,bacon,sausage,beans,mushrooms,tomatoes and toast. I cook a good full English but this one was on par with home cooked. We really enjoyed it. Thank you.

I had the festive menu today with my two friends. The cafe was buzzing on a very dull and dismal day. The food was excellent, well presented, hot and freshly cooked with generous portions. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as usual. At £16 for two courses and £19 for three courses (festive menu) it represents great value and a lovely treat. Lots of lovely sweet treats for all including vegan and gluten free options. Thank you Dave, Louise and staff. Highly recommended.

Had a nice Amercano Coffee with milk on the side, Coronation Chicken sandwich, it was ok, diced chicken was bit large and the filling was warm, would like to seen sultanas offered in the sauce

Visited for lunch with my partner on a Wednesday lunch time. I have to say for that time of day and during the week the place was busy, which is always a good sign. The menu had plenty of choice and the food was good, obviously freshly prepared. The staff were super friendly and so accommodating. Overall a really nice experience.

Nice little cafe, but the price's are extortionate £3.50 for 1 sausage & 2 rashes of bacon on a barm is well over priced, no matter what cafe I have gone to if my order is for sausage and bacon barm there is alway at least 2 sausages on the barm, and considering there competing with The Muffin Man 3 doors away and get way more for your money, don't think I'll be popping in again on my way past.

Food is restaurant quality and cafe price. You just cannot go wrong. 10 out of 10. The village was needing this place for so long. The food is top notch.

Went today for the 1st time with my mum. Can definitely recommend Shevington Village Kitchen and we will be returning. Food lovely, big portions and a huge gluten free choice for myself. Being coeliac it's hard to find somewhere to eats but here there is a huge choice to choose from. Can't wait to return.

Large English Breakfast with tea pot and sausage roll (takeaway). Friendly staff, good food, nice setting. Breakfast was lovely. Black Pudding was spot on, all other ingredients was nice but the highlight without a doubt was the homemade sausage roll!

Food was average, was expensive for wot we got and £2 for a can of coke wot a joke. Sausage was not good at all

I contacted Shevington Village Kitchen literally weeks before my son's christening on fathers day. They were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when I was requesting a dairy free buffet for 50. The communication and customer service was second to none and they were extremely thorough when it came to the dairy allergy. Everything was clearly labelled and super delicious (no one had a clue that it was dairy free) everyone enjoyed it and there was lots of it. I can not recommend this company enough, they went above and beyond for me and definitely put my mind at rest and made the experience stress free. All round excellent service and food. I will definitely be using them again for future events. Thank you so much.

Lovely local place perfect for breakfast

Had a delicious vegan curry / chilli takeaway meal for 8 on the weekend of the village fete. As it was for my birthday, we included rice, fruit salad and a vegan cake. Everything was of the usual high standard and it saved anyone from having to cook. Will definitely be doing it again. PS generous portions meant plenty 'left overs' for Sunday tea.... win win!!!

Our workplace come here often to pick up lunch. The food is always delicious and of such good standard, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The staff are so friendly and chatty also. I would definitely recommend the rice boxes with chicken and curry sauce!

Lovely place, friendly and with excellent hearty food. During lock down Louise and Dave have run a really good take away, doing deliveries to the vulnerable and really being part of the community. Highly recommended. Can’t wait till the restaurant reopens.
