Nice people every one in both shops ,bit of suspicious about this people like reeve G named man if you upset for owner you make comments on one shop why you spread your sh..t comment everywhere ,fo you know the man who is the owner of the shen kebabs and do you know that is going on staff and customers , you don't know how many idiots they dealing like you every day . I am ordering from when kebab nearly 21years he is

Mon 25th Jan Subhanallah (Awesome) All products 100% HALAL. They've made me a convert, not my religion but to their shop. As you can see from my photos portion was massive. (Mix meat and Chips) A flock of seagulls would need to call their crow friends to help finish my dish🤣 Tomorrow's lunch is sorted (so much leftover). If review stars weren't limited I'd be happy to give extra. Keep up the great taste & service. Wed 27th Jan went back for more. (Mix Chicken shish & Chick donar) Portion size soo big it was overflowing the pita bread. Jazakallah Zulfikar

Ordered via Uber eats. Wrong order delivered. Phoned to let them know, they didn't believe me and were slightly argumentative on the phone. We had to open everything and tell them what was there compared to what we had ordered. Was told to Re package and wrap the food, not touch it and the driver would be back with the correct order which had clearly been delivered somewhere else before it come to us. Still items missing so had to call back again. 30 minutes later the rest of the order turned up with some complimentary baclava. Food was below average at best, we can honestly say we have never been served LUMPS of rice before that you can't even get a fork into. Will never use again. I put a note in the food that we sent back in case they tried to deliver it to the correct person after we had opened it all. Have attached a photo of some of the Rice????

Ordered food through just eat. Had confirmation it was on way. Waited 30 mins from confirmation and rang restaurant said it was on way. Waited another 30 mins rang again and was told they didn’t have the order and didn’t know what I was on about. Person in restaurant was very rude and put phone down. Never order again

Went to my friends for our Christmas get together and he wanted to use SHEN KEBAB for our dinner having previously ate here and it was so bad i gave the meat to my dog and even he didn't want to eat i strongly recommended we use somewhere else or just eating toast but he wanted it SHEN KEBAB didn't disappoint it was utter filth flabby meat warm salad stale bread and the Donner meat was more greasy then his teenage sons face having phoned them to complain the woman gave us a barrel of abuse unbelievable... SAME OLD SHEN KEBAB UTTER FILTH.

We ordered via Just Eat. We ordered the XL, large chips amd x2 Garlic dip. It came up more expensive than usual but hoped for a new turkish. Food arrived 45 mins late and only because i called the restaurant, otherwise I'm not sure anything would have happened. I was told the driver had knocked and told by who had answered that nobody had ordered food. (given this was paid for, I would have expected a call, as is usual). So the driver calls me back complaining he is on the corner amd can't find me (note it is raining heavily but the doors are numbered clearly). So i go out my house in the rain and eventually he tells me, yes his is the car a couple doors away. Doesn't leave his car to give me my food (so I'm in the rain) says sorry he couldn't find it when i asked why he told the restaurant he tried to deliver he just said he couldn't find it. When I pointed out the doors were numbered, he shrugs. So now, I'm wet, my food is late and cold. Food quality was okay, not worth 19 for the XL but a big portion. Garlic sauce that you pay for was vinegary, chips were cold but actually would have been the best part of the meal but not worth 3.50. Standard cheap pita breads, rhumbabas one had mould inside the other was just about the right side of stale. No free drinks, no free dips and a small salad. Late, overpriced and disappointing.

Yesterday's warmed up doner meat , chilli sauce must of been made without chillis and the chips tasted like yesterday's oil, vile. for £7.50 . Never again

Website is different from what you get delivered. Just don't bother phoning up after your delivery turns up cause they couldn't give a toss! Boycott these places and demand better. Never again. Lamb is chewy and inedible, the best thing is the doner kebab (which you already know is crap)

I ordered kebab was lovely tasty ,long time we didn't have that taste it was unbelievable kebab and quick service ,polite telephone lady ,we recommending to all who looking nice taste kebab and valuable

We ordered Chicken Shish grilled kebab. Special Chicken shish. And Extra Large Mixed Grill comes pot chilli sauce pot garlic sauce 4cLarge pittas and fresh crunchy box of side salad enough for 4peopleWe had second time visit to Shen Kebab was nice kebab and polite staff we will come back

It was okay,nothing interesting,price is expensive compared to kervansary.its not tasty either,wasting money.

There seems to be and abundance of takeaway outlets in the Gidea Park vicinity offering the much the same fayre.I decided to give this one a whirl after hearing about it from my mate Ned Sherron. Admittedly it was quite late on a Saturday when I ordered inside the shop but what looked quite appetising turned out to be dismal. Apart from the pitta bread and salad which I have to admit was spot on, the doner meat was tasteless. Would have been better off sticking with just pitta bread and salad and purchased a jar of pickled onions from the shop next door as a "main"!!!

what can I say the women behind the counter is probably the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting I myself was rude to her which I regret and offer to apologise which I do in full but my god the food is well below par 🤢🤢🤢I would say go to balgores kebab for a decent well done kebab or go see the Dragon who toasts it ... .

I been this Shen Kebab second time truly ,we found real flavor of authentic taste of kebab , there is all ways other side of the medallion , to many people out there say bad and good I take chance and tried , I recommending everyone try

After a long day and frankly couldn't be asked to cook my wife and I ordered a take away. It arrived apx 1 hour 20 minutes after I ordered it (can't see how the shop is that busy midweek - clearly they are just stacking up orders until they can deliver several at once).

Gave these guys a few chances, their food is either cold or over cooked. I complained but sadly it fell on deaf ears, the woman answering the phone is very abrasive.

Forget our chips then served a chicken shish as a chicken sultan not as expected quite disappointing

Visited yesterday evening and ordered myself mixed shish, tasted amazing and great price. Excellent customer service as well. 5 star would recommend

The food is great. Fresh kebabs, delicious and there is so much choice to dress them with. The Chilli Sauce is home-made and unique -I have never tasted a sauce like it - impressive. Tried the Kofta with garlic sauce - amazing minced lamb with spices, but the chef won't tell me how he makes it - family recipe he says!
