SFC - Southern Fried Chicken in Carmarthenshire

Delivery guy was lovely… Ordered around £40 worth Chicken was strange can’t describe it, it’s normally my favourite I buy food here all the time maybe a different batter? Hanging lol Also wanted to try the southern gravy but unfortunately it had all clumps in it with what seemed to be powder and the chips where aright I do think we had extra chicken but don’t think we should of gutted lol x

Gone downhill. Paula's lovely but the owners are a different matter. Food and business opening times very inconsistent. The vegetarian burgers which used to be beautiful have changed and I can't eat them. You can't order online and cash only which is difficult if you don't have cash. Started going elsewhere.

Gone absolutely rubbish use to be a regular here but tonight was the last straw,had a delivery chips were barely cooked and soggy not good enough,so anyone looking for a decent meal don't bother trying here

Chicken cooked nicely. Loads of chips. Really enjoyed it.

Ask for a filit burger meal and got to cold strips on a burger bun and the chips well I put them in the bin wouldn't feed them a dog DO NOT GO HERE A WASTE YOUR MONEY THANKS FOR READING HOPE IT HELP YOU

Literally walked ordered strip meal gone in bout 40 seconds (chicken was delectable)

Absolutely great food, but want to say a huge thank you to delivery driver Lucas got here as fast as he could and a really nice guy, I will definitely be ordering from here again

Walked in, got served, 45 minutes later still waiting. 6 people walked in after us, 4 walked out before us with their food and larger orders. Food was average, owner was rude. Shame really.

Food has gotten alot better recently due to new management. Nice and fresh and piping hot. Only issue is they don't cook the strips to order anymore. Also the delivery drivers standing outside smoking right by the door is very off putting.

More meat on their chickens than KFC, and so tasty, always look forward to a SFC.

The food here is a LOT better during the week when the owner or his son is in than on the weekend when the girls are working. Make of that what you will.

Ordered 5 meals, including a child’s meal for delivery. Took 1 hour and 10 minutes to arrive from around a mile away. Food was cold as if it had been on a trip around town first. They forgot 1 meal which we had to phone up several times due to the phone ringing out. When they answered, no apology, just said they’d get another meal delivered out. It was delivered promptly and was hot. Shame the rest of the food wasn’t the same. Shame this place has gone so downhill, luckily the prices are cheap compared to other takeaways so i didn’t care too much but I feel this should be put out there for others.

Ordered chicken burger meals. Limited halal options in Llanelli and this was a good find luckily. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Perfect option if you’re looking for halal food 👍🏼

Gone terrible since new owner. Never had such greasy chips in all my life the dirty.

Food have gone terrible there lately, chips have gone like your chewing on rubber, wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. Very dry, don’t taste how they used to be like 2 months ago. Put me off from having food from there

Customer service is non existent, abrupt attitude, moaning that he has to pay everytime the card machine is used, I don’t carry cash because of germs, i will never be returning here again and will tell everyone to avoid!

They never answer the fone to take orders,yet they offer a delivery service...

Amazing Chicken!!!,lush family bucket ,,fab friendly staff, great delivery and efficient service,,definitely recommend the Chicken,, it does beat the retail Chicken chains,,give it a go fabulous xxxxx

I've been coming here since I was a teenager (so for about 25 years!). The chips here are THE best. Better than anywhere else.

The best never had a bad meal, their so clean and the fries are amazing.

Food tasted of cleaning products, was very arrogant when I phoned to complain and was told to bring back for inspection?

Since moving out of town, I'm not eating there as regularly as i'd like but will happily travel the 5 miles for this food! If you're reading these reviews you must be wondering if it's worth a visit? Make the trip and you will not be disappointed!!

Called in to the shop first impression was that the cleanliness was outstanding the female staff couldn't do enough for us and also food was very good. Where did these other people who have left bad reviews call as it can't have been the same place as i would recommend the food and service to any person. I am very fussing where I buy from as I deal with health and safety and food hygiene everyday with my job.

Very friendly and helpful staff always polite especially the 2 members of staff that were working last night shop is always spotless. Food is always nice and fresh never had a bad meal from there. Would recommend to any one.

Staff were rude and inconsiderate. Food was rushed while staff carried on talking about there own personal life which was none of our business to hear at a business establishment.

Absolutly disgraceful shop rude workers (so called manager) who thinks she can just humiliate and throw people out of a shop for no reason.

Terrible, this used to be my favourite. 40+ minute wait for a simple chicken and chips and two kids meals. No warning of the wait, no apology and when it finally came out half the kids' meal missing. Got food home and it was ropey and not even hot. No salad or cheese in the kids burger as per menu. Avoid.
