Great food, set meal for two all tasty and fresh

this was probably the best karahi lamb curry I have ever had. It was very tasty and plenty of lamb in the curry,thick and tasty sauce perfect.

Best Pizzas round here in my opinion, and the curries are ok too

I've had take aways from these guys for 40 odd years, always been top quality food and friendly staff, now that I am disabled, I am glad Just-eat give me a chance to enjoy food I used to walk to and collect myself - Yippee!

Absolute rip off, I ordered a chicken tikka and chips £6.50 and it was a kids portion also ordered a LARGE lamb donner tray £5 that came in a SMALL tray also didn’t taste like lamb either!! WILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN

really enjoy your chicken karahi also ordered a madras chicken curry,bit disappointing as the curry sauce was very watery IE not thick enough. just thought I would let you know,as normal it's thick and very tasty.

food was ok. nothing special but was decent. burger was a bit dry but was all warm. took a while to turn up but was still on time. was a decent price and was ok. wouldn't put me off ordering again.

Delivery was late then the driver didn't have a carrier bag, so had to carry the order in my hands Food was luke warm, no spice to roghan josh very bland food not impressed at all

Food was ok, chips were over cooked and burger was plain & burnt but thankfully all was saved by the kebab. Nice and spicy but could have done with about 25% more meat on it. Did take 1:20hr on a Wednesday to get to me as well, so don’t order in a hurry.

Delicious! First time ordering a curry from here, we got the set meal for 2 and it was really tasty. Fresh and hot, the flavours were amazing, no faults at all! We will be back for sure!

they do this all the time and fob you off. you are better off just going into the restaurant and ordering your food

I use Evan stars a lot and it has never let me down always spot in tasty food the keebabs are amazing and the best take away curry’s around

ordered from here a few times never had any problems, tonight however the food was awful. stale chips very salty kebab meat and stale burger bun. put me off ordering from here again.

Good takeaway with good quality food, clean kitchen and a great owner who looks after his customers. Top marks all round, I don't go anywhere else now when I'm in the area (regularly with work)

When I opened my food. There was a giant hole in the bottom of the bag which caused my curry to go everywhere, and was obviously inedible.

Too expensive and portions too small since reopening - donner and chicken tikka on naan is £10 but every other kebab shop is £6 maximum and other shops kebabs are twice the size, food is nice but too expensive for what it is and a lot of other people say the same thing, lower the prices and you will get a lot more customers back!

I’m writing this as I’ve still not received my food and it’s been over two hours now and they’ve been saying for the past 40 minutes it’s on its way

Ordered a mix kebab with lamb and donner, there was no dinner and the red sauce on lamb was a funny taste also the garlic nann weren’t cooked through was very doughy

i enjoyed the fish tikka kebab, but needed a bit more fish.

Always been a fan of seven stars (10 years+) but since reopening after the refurbishment it’s gone down hill. Today’s order was cold and the chips clearly reheated despite ordering as soon as they opened.

Seven Stars is one of the best BUT on this occasion they forgot the chicken tikka & the mayo sauce …. Still the Donna kebab was very nice.

I ordered a 12" garlic bread and a large tray of Donna meat I received the garlic bread but I didnt get a tray of Donna meat instead I recieved a kebab with different meats on it.

Always great food & reasonably priced. I love that you can choose the option of Asian style for whichever curry you want.

Should be called salt star instead.. had a donner, keema and seekh kebab, for some weird reason it was so salty couldn’t even eat it, chips were rock solid guessing was fried in old oil.. if your serving people food at least make your food with honour.

First time ordering from here. Really enjoyed the food and staff are great too. Will be definitely ordering again

I will be honest the curry didn’t taste nice

The price is decent but portions are extremely small and food was a bit cold/stale. Condiment (mango chutney) was extremely watery.

I got a lamb biryani, was absolutely vile, couldn't even finish it. The sauce and lamb felt gritty in my mouth, not worth what I paid, awful

Food was beautiful, full of the right flavours n hot, best takaway in along time ty.

Mixed kebab was ace besides the chicken. It had a really weird taste to it, like metallic and soapy. It's hard to describe, but i threw all the chicken in the bin because of it. Everything else was spot on, although i was a bit hesitant to the rest after the dodgy chicken.

I asked for a large kabab and I got more salard then the meat it was dry and cold never again will I order from there

The mixed doner and and keema was excellent. The naan bread stood out as absolutely homemade and it's quality was excellent. A naan is one of the deciding factors of a kebab and this one is one of the best I've had bread wise. Meat was good quality. I ordered chicken rice and this was excellent too, very good amount of chicken and it added to the meal amazingly. Wasn't expecting much considering it's 2am but I was very pleasantly surprised. Thanks guys

I'm so glad to see this place back open. Thought it never would! My family has used this place for years, and so have i. Food is just as good as it always was. Super fresh and the best kebabs around, in my opinion 👌

After being closed for a refurb, thought I’d try again as last time I had a bad experience. Won’t be trying again, had to throw my kebab as it was inedible

decent indian fare, only criticism the poppadoms were in bits and it didn't look like the bits added up to the 3 that I ordered

I'm told the fish karahi was good. I had the mixed karahi which was mostly good - except the prawns which were shivelled and grim. Bombay potatoes were good, but not very warm.

Seven Stars has been our family’s go to takeaway since I was a kid, it was a shame to see them go away for a while but they’re back and exactly as good as they used to be! Can’t recommend them enough

Hands down the best kebab shop in Tameside! Donner kebabs are next level with home made naan. Glad to see them back open.

Food was cold and wrong order delivered on 3 items well over 1hr 20mins late despite 2 calls telling me that it would only be 10 more mins prices have increased since reopening and this order was not worth it poor quality poor service

Everything arrived ontime/early, order was correct. Food was hot and everything was delicious. Was nearly put off by the 1 review but glad I wasn't. Top notch food 👌

Website is still working / taking orders but the shop is closed, was advised not taking orders by email,after the Website took our order and payment, still awaiting a refund, shop has been closed for at least a month stating under refurbishment, but I would summise its more likely they have been shut down for other reasons.

Where have these lot gone, no one closes for over a month due to refurbishment???? Anyone know what happened here?

CAUSE THEY HAVE DIFFERENT TYPES FOR EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER. EVEN THEY HAVE DOUBLE FACE.. THEY DON'T SERVE YOU AS IN SHOW CASE. THEY TAKE OFF SOME PIECE OF CHICKEN TIKKA FROM SEEKHS. EVEN MAKE SECOND ROLL FOR NAN OR ROTHES IF DROPPED SOME LITTLE AMOUNT OF FLOUR. THEY TAKE OFF CHEES OF FROM PIZZA IF BY MISTAKEN DROPPED SOME LITTLE AMOUNT OF CHEES ON PIZZAS OR ON BURGERS. IT WAS MY CAUSE FOR LEAVING WORK AND MY EXPERIENCE WHILE WORKED THERE.EVEN THEY DIDN'T RECOGNISE WHY I LEFT. SO I HAVE NO MORE WORDS TO SATISFY YOU. ......

I was trying to get through for two hours and the phone just kept ringing and after a few rings it went to say sorry this mailbox is full ,so I give up as I was annoyed because I can't get out due to ill health and I use you quite often ,,this happened on Tuesday the 14 of June

Bought a small kebab but it was more like a large !!!. Very friendly staff.

I say kasam, food was banging, anyone else who says otherwise is lying, recommended by a friend of mine and I was NOT let down, best kebab house in manny. Perfect flavour, perfect spice, very nice!

Whilst the food arrived promptly, it was a pleasant surprise to see that things weren't under cooked. Ironically however, the food was overcooked. The fries were as hard and crunchy, the chicken tikka starter charred black to the point of being inedible. The only salvageable part of the meal was the burger that came with - even if the bun itself has a few burn marks on it. However, even if our food managed to escape the drawback of a fast delivery, the sundries did not. The mango chutney was a fifth full and both cans of pop failed to arrive with the order. Furthermore, what can be said of the quality of the food, even absent of its burning and hardness, was extremely cheap. Poppadoms as thin as paper, watery mango chutney, chips with very little actual potato inside, and chicken tikka chunks the size of a conker. Unacceptable for the price. Do. Not. Buy. Edit: If I could give it even fewer stars than one, I would. Into the early hours of the morning the day after, I was thankfully spared from the vomit and diarrhea that had afflicted the other patron of this restaurant. I cannot stress enough, do not order from this restaurant. Not only are you getting cheap, low quality food, it is liable to make you sick. You have been warned.
