Selekt Chicken in South Kesteven

Shoo look okay from outside with customers coming and going so I thought I'll give it a go. Inside looks in disrepair with TV displays not working, also looks dated as if being in a different country. Purchased the £25 meal deal 12 price chicken 12 boneless chicken 12 hot wings 3 fries 2 onion rings and a bottle of drink. Opening the contents the chicken breast look as if chicken had been cut off then coated with seasoning. The boneless chicken was spice and only 2 onion rings not 2 portions. Next day said it all with running to the toilet. I looked up the rating to find this eatery is only 3 star food hygiene. This shop is a disgrace to Corringham Town centre. Need to be inspected by Thurrock Council. Needless to say I will not be entertaining this shop again.

We found these to be lovely months ago but the last 3 times we’ve ordered the service has been terrible. Paid extra for certain sauces and piri piri chips which didn’t come. Chicken was as dry as a battered digestive and the chips were brown and limp. The whole meal was lukewarm at best and took well over an hour to come. Didn’t bother calling on this occasion, I’m still reeling from the rudeness from the last time I called when we waited 2.5 hours for our food only to be told they knew and it’s sat on the counter waiting for the delivery driver to turn up and collect it. I said but if you know it’s been there ages surely you’ll make it fresh? Oh no, I’ll have to contact Uber to complain that it’s cold! Laughable. Even when I said but you’re putting your name to that, you know it’s not fresh and you know it’ll be cold. Contact Uber. Joke. Next time I’ll save my money and it’s beans on toast all round.

Decided to try this newish place. Staff very friendly and helpful the portions were good, the coating n the chicken was slightly odd but ok Not the best ever but less greasy than KFC.

Tried this place because the other chicken shop in the area isn't good at all . Unfortunately this one is no better nice friendly staff and clean premises the chicken wasn't very hot chips were cold and chewy and if i had 15 chips in the whole chicken meal I'd be over calculating
