Scarlett's Fish and Chips in Isle of Anglesey

Ordered delivery here for the last 2 years and getting worse,cold food,soggy chips,crispy doner meat and a medium kebab when I ordered a large,charcoal grill much better. 22/11/24 ordered food for my daughter and myself,apparently said asap or 525pm,had to phone up,was trying to cancel but wouldn't let me,food came 9 mins later,and it was all cold,free pizza given that was cold aswell so tomorrow I'll be taking the pizza and rest of it back to him

We've used menai kebab for many years but will be giving it a miss moving forward. Misreble rude staff who apparently don't do 'crispy chips'. Just cook them a little longer it's quite simple! The chicken kebab was over cooked and bland with very little marinade. The kofta is also dry and over cooked. The prices have gone through the roof too, 27.00 for a large kebab and small kebab. Joke. Shame as it used to be decent. Maybe it's changed hands ?? Either way I won't be rushing back.

Best kebab I’ve ever had. Food was delicious. Fast and friendly service. Wasn’t badly priced compared to other kebab shops in the area.

I chose the chef special. The meat was cooked very well. The salads were fresh. It was very good with garlic and hot sauce.

Visited Friday evening - we needed to pop into the spar so we decided to get fish and chips here. Really glad we did. Cooked from fresh by the owners. The chips were gorgeous I think they must have been Cyprus potatoes? Not greasy at all. My mum and husband enjoyed the fish too. Will return. It’s a nice smart, clean takeaway too and would like to try some of the other dishes such as the Turkish kebabs.
