Savoy Fish Shop & Restaurant in Hammersmith and Fulham

We LOVED their authentic food!!! We are visiting from the US & we’ve been eating out in the City all around London & this was the best deal for the amount & quality of food. One of our favorite meals while here!! Chicken Kabob was perfect, Beef Pie(Patty) was great, wings were SO good, LOVE their large steak cut chips(fries)! Friendly service as well.

I go to this restaurant every Friday and usually get my monies worth. Today I ordered food via Deliveroo and couldn't believe the food was from the same restaurant. Do not order fish to be delivered, you will be ripped off. I didn't get what I paid for and when I called the restaurant to query this, I was told the size varies, the price is the same. I'm not sure how you justify charging the same price for an item you know is not worth the price. I was surprised by the service over the phone because in person they're always so nice. Please go to the restaurant to order your food to avoid disappointment.

my chips was so dry it was not edible!! will not recommend at all!! Expecially when feeding kids they couidnt eat it

We’ve just spent £25 (2 portions of chips, 1 x fish, 1 x fish bites, 1 x burger and 1 x slush) which would never have been an issue if the food was edible! But unfortunately it wasn’t and most of it ended up in the bin! The fish was extremely greasy and all you could taste as you ate the fish was the cheap oil. My son discarded the batter then found the fish to be tasteless and dry! The chips that were not crispy (we always discard the crispy ones) were very dry inside. Whoever run the place /cook are clueless and unprofessional. We usually go to our regular (St Elmo Fish bar) but they closed early and where we have never spent anywhere near £25 for fish and chips that I’d give five stars to!

Had a Pukka today not edible top crust squashed and rock hard, had the chips they are reheated if I could give no star I would.

Brought cod and chips what a waste of money more batter than fish and definitely not cod some sort of white cheap fish. I would advise nobody to go there. if you want good quality food try st elmos fish and chip shop. As for the lady who serves you she is extremely rude obnoxious with very poor communication skills and has no basic manners.

My partner and I were looking for a nice meal after a long day, and fancied fish and chips. We recently moved to the area and, Savoy Fish Shop Restaurant, being our local fish shop, was the obvious choice. Big mistake! Definitely would have been better to stay hungry. When we arrived home (about 3 minutes away from the shop) the paper it all came in was already leaking a lot of oil. The fish still had skin on it - which is a no-go if you want traditional fish and chips. After only eating about 1/8 of the fish, my partner decided to take it back. Staff weren’t being helpful when addressing the problem and instead claimed to never had a complaint. Although, checking other reviews on TripAdvisor, we probably should have checked it first and not have gone to a restaurant with only 2 and a half stars. Unless you are in the mood for greasy, soggy, and overall awful fish and chips for an expensive price, I would recommend staying away as far as possible. We won’t be back there again.

My cod was cut in half and the tail half was missing any fish. It was just a batter shell. The mushy peas were extremely watery. The chips were okay. Overall a waste of money. Very disappointed. I won't be back again.

Great food and attentive staff. They were helpful towards my special dietary requirements and excellent value for money. Healthy portions. Me and my family will be back !

Was getting abit to late to Go home and cook so went here on way home from visiting my nan.Staff were rude and impatient and the Food was awful.Chips were pure grease and the southern fried chicken didn't taste at all like what it was ment to and was so dry!!!Not a fan!!Should of stuck with the best chippy St Elmo Fish bar!!!!

The staff are rude. The portions are small. Expensive for what it is. The chips seem to be recooked in old oil. And the batter on the fish is too hard and too crunchy (I.e. not light).

The chicken doner was burnt and had chicken feathers on it. When telling the lady working there that it wasn’t a good meal at all, she ignored the complaint and couldn’t care less. That’s very bad customer service and will not be going here again! Avoid at all costs.

Been going here for their chips for ages ( they are just so tasty! ) Then saw their offer of Grilled Snapper and chips for just a FIVER ! Amazing taste and incredible value, will be going back for more very soon. You can ring ahead to order the fish ( as it takes 10/15 minutes to cook from fresh, YES FROM FRESH, so if you busy RING THEM FIRST ) brilliant place.

East European people working there, RUDE and without any customer service skills. I went with my wife to have some kebap last Saturday and we have to leave because when we ask about a meal offer, the guy who was cooking the kebap start to shout us in a very RUDE way. I don't can back there any more. Disgusting people.

Chips were great and fish tasted very good. After a long day of work I was glad that I chose this to eat. Prices are reasonable.

Not bad chippy-most of the time the food is great occasionally chips are soggy --- A local place where u can also sit and eat in with a kebab service at reasonable price and staff are friendly enough

Our local chippy. Nothing life changing but they do fish and chips very well! Good value as well. Staff are always friendly.
