As always an amazing Sunday morning coffee and sausage roll , Sassis never disappoints. The food is fresh and tasty, service is always with a smile.

This is a nice small cafe suitable for having a coffee or a snack. In a handy location between Grove Park and Carshalton High Street. Outside seating only, but takeaway available. Staff friendly. Overall very good value.

Came here yesterday to use the loo next door and decided to stop for a coffee. I had a very decent double macchiato whilst sitting outside at the picnic tables.

This is a great little place for a coffee and a snack when going for a weekend stroll in the parks; The Grove or the nearby Beddington Park. The staff are friendly and effective, the bathroom is clean, the coffee is good. It is sheltered from the wind, so usually very nice to sit outside. Too bad they don't also control the weather, haha.

Fab few and great service. We had great delight at the sight of the generous serving of Nutella on the waffles. Dad had a home made sausage roll that was warm, full of flavour and bursting with filling. Best vegan latte in a long time

I went back here to visit an old customer just to say hello after a few years and found the new Cafe with Wayne running it. Excellent coffee and food menu and will definitely retun with the kids.

Had a waffle with their home made ice-cream and somene maple syrup....my word... Best waffle ever. Perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, just delicious. The coffees were clearly lovingly made, and as tastey as I've ever had too. very good baristas.

This is a really cosy little park cafe that does lovely coffees (with a big range of non-dairy milk alternatives at no extra cost), really tasty paninis and has a great ice cream selection (they also do waffles). It has a really warm, friendly atmosphere with nice, helpful staff. When I visited the cafe was looking very festive for Halloween :-)

Sassis is a wonderful park café with lots of outdoor seating. The proprietor, Wane and his staff are simply amazing and are always helpful and accommodating. A lovely spot to enjoy a coffee, cup of tea, smoothie or milkshake. In addition to all this they sell a range of toasties and panini, not to mention ice-cream! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have visited the cafe many times over the years. Always a cheerful lovely service. Great choice of snacks, food, drinks and the kids fave, ice creams! Very small seating area inside but a great large seating area outside. My only little gripe is the toilets next to the cafe. I presume they are related so to speak and quite often find them a bit lacking ie soap, toilet roll, cleanliness. If I am wrong re the cafe responsible for looking after them then I do apologise.

It was a busy Sunday morning, the park was full with a Pokemon Go community day, people wandering around everywhere capturing pokemon, my daughter and myself included when we came across Sassis in the Grove. Bacon sandwich was ordered with a latte to chase it. The bread and the bacon were excellent, extremely tasty. The coffee was perfectly adequate and whilst not 100% to my taste, nice enough and surprisingly good for a cafe. You can tell from the cleanliness of the place that to pride themselves on their establishment, this coupled with the banter from the owner made it feel like a nice place to be. The ice cream was excellent according to my daughter and you get the feeling that if they can make it as opposed to serving up shop bought cheaper option foods, the went for the better choices and made their own. An excellent, well-run cafe that could easily take its place in central London, let alone Carshalton's Grove.Good food, good prices, clean establishment & friendly staff all add up to a heartily positive recommendation. Go on, go there and find out for yourself, it's worth the trip.Would I go back again? You bet, next time I'm there it'll be "Bacon Buttie" time.Excellent.

If you are looking for a nice coffee in the area, not a chain one, go to Sassis. Nice coffee in the park. Options to take away or seat in or out and very kids friendly.

Sassis does the best coffee and bacon sandwich in Carshalton. It feels like a treat sitting in the park drinking coffee, just love this café! Also, Sassis is not expensive.

Grove Park, Carshalton is beautiful and to have such an excellent place to stop for a rest and get a cup of coffee and a bite to eat is a huge bonus. Would recommend Sassis in the Grove to anyone.

I often stop in here for a coffee after visiting the park. Nice (and cheap!) coffee, friendly staff, and a small but tasty selection of food and cakes. There are a few tables inside, but I prefer to sit outside – there's a lot more room.

For the last month i have been working nearby and found this little known treat i have worked my way through their range of toasties (with the exception of the marmite one) enjoyed their coffee truly the tastiest in Carshalton in my opinion and had every smoothie on the menu including the spinach and kale one (much nicer than i thought it would be) the staff couldn't be more accommodating and are willing to mix and match to find something that takes your fancy.i find it refreshing that a family owned business with the help of Gabby are doing such a great job its just a shame that more people are not aware what a great place this is to stop and have a coffee in such a lovely location. visit once i bet you return

I visited here for the first time only because the queue in the franchise around the corner was so long. I shan't be going back to the franchise after my experience here! The staff at Sassis are friendly, the coffee is good and the food is tasty and cheap. It is a very welcoming environment, and at the entrance to the local park so the view is much nicer than watching cars on the busy high street. It was cozy and warm on an icy winter day and I imagine in summer this will be the perfect place to go for a lazy morning.

Normally don’t write reviews for places but this little café is the exception. We went here for the first time yesterday. The lady serving chatted to us while at the till and even though it seemed quite stressful she remained calm and smiley to all the customers. We ordered a latte and a hot chocolate with all the trimmings and were so impressed to see a snowman on the latte!!! Both were delicious. When she brought our drinks over she patiently explained to our daughter how she made the snowman and invited us back in a couple of weeks time to see all the Christmas decorations. Normally when we go to a coffee shop, you don’t really talk to the workers except to order so we were pleasantly surprised with the service received. If it was based on just that alone we would go back. It’s just a bonus that the drinks and food were yummy too!
