Santos in Oldham

Food is great quality but the service is absolutely terrible. Order the same thing all the time and still can’t get it right. People that work there most of them are rude and roll their eyes when you are trying to sort it. Customer service skills is none existent

nice staff, very tasty food one of the best takeaways in Oldham. i recommend their shawarma, kobeida and lamb chops. The takeway is very clean and there are plenty tables and chairs to sit and eat in.

The food was great and so was the service. The staff Haval and Aqsa were brilliant! They reccomended the perfect meal for 4 and were swift in providing any assistance we needed. They also entertained us with their great sense of humor which only added to the overall experience. I will be back I'A

The best takeaway in oldham , ordered a mix fatayer it was perfect cooked very soft and tasty , staff was very friendly and the dine in atmospheres was amazing.

Nice Restaurant with Good Staff the food was Epic we had a big mix grill with two large naans breads and a lot of salad and plenty of sauce and a bottle of Coke for £42.50 there was four of us and there was plenty of it left over to take away could easily feed 6 people

We had 2 Donner on pitta bread. It was cold. They are not to far from my house and it is a Tuesday, so they are not busy. No need to diver it cold. It must of been ready a while before they delivered it. It used to be a good take away. Uodate: Ordered a pizza. Gave the delivery guy 20 pound note. The pizza was 15 pound. He had no change on him, so he took the pizza again instead of giving it us cheaper. What delivery driver has no chance. He took the pizza got change and brought the cold pizza back. We were hungry or we wouldn't of taken it. This was our last order from them

I ordered a mix kebab, ch shawarma and kobedha. The kobedha was very Dry. Overcooked. Nan was Burnt underside. Ch Shwarma was a small portion and didnt taste good either. Their prices are more than other kobedha shops. You d expect more quantity if yore not getting quality. Been going here for years. Patience has run out. Won't be going again. Bye.

This meal gave me a whole different level of food poisoning to the point where I think it’s something more serious. More than 72 hours of constant pain. The chicken tasted off but I didn’t expect it to literally kill my stomach. I ordered at 2pm by a women and one man was also working in the back. Also there is no need to lie. I did not call up and threaten anything. I don’t want any free meals or money. I called up to inform the manager of my food poisoning. Stop lying and take accountability and investigate the issue. And yes you are open at 2pm so stop lying.

Not as good as it used to be. Food not as good. We ate in, tables not cleaned.

Clean and decent sit in space for food. Sadly things were downhill from there on, ordered Double Spicy Chicken Burger Meal - the burger coating wasn't crispy, the chicken inside was overdone and chewy and the taste was bland. The staff were running around like headless chickens without a proper clue to be honest and it wasn't busy. The fries were soooo salty they had to be thrown away. I hope they really accept the honest Feedback; train staff better, fix these little issues with the food quality. I had high hopes but sadly it wasn't good :( Thanks for the reply, the burger was made fresh, that's true, I could see it. But, sadly it was over cooked and the coating wasn't crispy. I think you need to do a double coating or Tweak the recipe. Thanks for the offer of compensation, but that's not my intention from the review. The guy who packed my order would have seen the crazy salt on the fries as he put it on, but he still served them 😶

Hummus not so good, chicken very lack luster, salad and sauces tastesd old..the meat dish was OK..not happy with dining here!

Used to be the best chicken burger around but sadly their quality of chicken has gone downhill, last 5 burgers from here I've had a random hard chewy end bit. Many friends have said the same thing sadly. Really good overall still though, service was good, atmosphere was nice enough for what you would expect, food was tasty, prices have been hiked though.

By the way, Santos has best rice in the whole UK

It's a total shame I have to write this review as I previously had excellent service at Santos. Anyways it may help the management and others know what happened and hope that things change. I needed to use the toilet and went to Santos as I previously dined there before and knew they had a toilet. However I was refused to use the toilet cause I was not a customer. I did explain to the 3 staff at the counter that I do dine at Santos but still I was refused. I also explained about my ill health but they came up with a ridiculous statement that the toilet is coded and only after a customer makes an order the till generates a code which can be used to unlock the toilet. After hearing this stupidity I did not want to carry on with the despicable staff and wondered where has humanity gone. I was decently dressed, was not drunk nor was I under the influence of drugs. If buying food generates a code to unlock the toilet, then there were customers already in Santos and plenty of receipts around the till which could've been used to unlock the toilet for me. Very sad state of affairs.

Ordered take away tonight for us all amazing food and can highly recommend the sharing platters and kebabs 💯💯💯 Cheers Santos

Been coming here over the years Very nice food and made fresh. When i was working next to the town centre, would come here once a week and my go to is the spicy chicken burger, unlike the other chicken burger places, they make it fresh each time, plus a better option salad and sauces. Kobeda and chicken tikka is always nice and juicy.

Wouldnt ever order from here again I ordered 2 dble cheeseburgers with chips n salad 2 hamburgers came no cheese Cost me £17.60 so gave driver change to keep as tip now they wont send my proper order.. order every week from this shop. Wont be going back.. bunch of idiots

This is a very good place as they also ask you about what salad and fulfils what the customer wants. Would recommend it to all asians and all users.

Very chic restaurant with magnificent dishes, especially delicious. Welcoming, smiling, kind staff...to serve you quickly. The place is ideal for eating in peace and quiet. Do not hesitate to visit and eat in this restaurant. You will find Oldham King Street tram parking not far away.

I'm really unhappy to write this review because my experience at Santos was far from good. The manager was really rude, and it was hard to believe how bad his behavior was. Instead of being professional and polite, he was abusive, which made our time there really uncomfortable. It's sad to see someone like that in charge of a place that's supposed to be about good food and nice times. The food wasn't any better either. Everything from the starters to the main dishes was disappointing. The food didn't look good, and it didn't taste good either. It seemed like they didn't know how to use spices to bring out the best in their food, instead of just hiding what it really tasted like. I suggest that people thinking about going to Santos should try somewhere else. There are so many better places out there that have great food and treat their customers right, but Santos just isn't one of them.

Food is great. My go to dishes here are the donner and the kobeda. Its just quality and you get what you pay for. Service is good too, they give ample sauces and salad with you food and havw good attitudes. Atmosphere could be better but it is what it is for a kebab takeaway place.

Just a mediocre place Santos was. I ordered the mixed kebab with most of the kebabs and trimmings included. The kobedah was quite dry and whilst it had spices I was not a big fan. The shawarma was another avreage result along with pretty much everything else and whilst it looks like a cheap kebab shop. The prices dont say that. £50 for 5 kebabs and no drinks were included. I was disappointed and in the future I will stick to what I know best on Union street. However the service here was impeccable.

Ordered donner and chips from here there donner sauce is really nice the donner is really thin and chips are crunchy plenty seating area and a very big menu with loads of items to choose

Very poor customer service ordered food via just eat waited 1hour 30 minutes for delivery and when I called them they said wait 20 minutes more its 2nd time delivery is late and this is the last time from santos will never order.

Amazing. Love this take away. So fresh and tasty! Ordered loads of times and apart from the odd screw up and occasional long wait, it couldn't be better. Although, a tad expensive compared to others.

Food is nice but higher than normal. Need to reduce price. This beats Raja opposite that have a drug operation upstairs is one of the rooms. Go to Santos if you have your family with you.

Chicken wrap, chicken burger, and lamb tikka I’ve tried so far all was some of the best I’ve tried in Oldham, undoubtedly! However one day after I ordered I put my AirPods in and my food was ready a staff member tried to get my attention but couldn’t so he thought a good idea would be to scrunch a piece of paper and throw it on me. Pooja what is this behaviour! I spoke to the rest of the staff and they were all well mannered so I still sometimes visit this restaurant, as one person bad decision shouldn’t reflect everyone’s customer service!

Not ordered from Santos in a couple of years - Got my food delivered, ordered a 12" veggi & 10" cheese & tomato pizza. With kobeida meat, and their mixed salad (must have). Delivery man forgot the 12" veggie so I called them back and they were very apologetic and said he would send the driver back. The driver came back with a fresh hot 12" veggie along with an extra 10" cheese and tomato for the inconvenience. Was such a nice gesture. Very impressed with the service. The food was 👌🏽👌🏽🤤🤤, definitely recommend. I'm so happy that their customer service has not changed since the last time I ordered. A very happy Customer. Poor food Hygiene, don't recommend for your own health

Always good as it has been since 4 years ago an very much more it has improved, quality and quantity well worth the money. Their never shy of giving you food or even extra. We need saman taha's b in law there at all times

Been going for years, best seats on Union Street to eat with family or friends. It's one of the very few takeaways in Oldham that makes the food fresh and juicy, I recommend the spicy burger meal.

Food is decent customer service and manners from the staff is atrocious.

Well priced good quality food with large portions. The kobedas are some of the best around.

The best mix grill I have had so far. The flavours are very rich and the sides are perfect. The size is huge and can easily be shared between 4-6 people. Also the staff is very friendly and the food is served quick. It is fresh and it is yum. Definitely worth trying out.

DO NOT COME HERE! Ordered chicken tikka and kebab was so bland. The naan was atrocious raw from the edges and overcooked in the middle, couldn’t even break it up it was so tough. Wouldn’t even feed it to a dog. Id give it 0/10

I am a regular customer and highly recommended Santos to my guest, and on Saturday around 7 pm, me and the guest went in to order some food. However, due to being busy with orders, a member of staff who knows me very well said to me, "We are not taking anymore orders" and turned us away, which I think was rude and embarrassing while I was in front of the till to place orders. I don't think I will ever order from Santos again due to their unprofessional treatment.

2 hour wait for food. They told us it had left the shop and lied. Couldn’t get through on the phone for over half an hour to chase the order. Then said they ring back, never did and the food never turned up. Will never order from here ever again

Great food. I’m a regular. I would give 5 stars if you could improve the attitude towards customers and be more friendly and welcoming. Doesn’t hurt to smile :)

Fantastic kobeda and chicken burgers!

Food isnt edible here, kebab was dry n bland, burger was nasty n tasted awful! If I had seen reviews here before setting foot in the resturant, I prob wouldn't have ordered. Staff n management are extremely rude, I see the response from owners to few other reviewers, and honestly you can see how unprofessional they are.

As a guy who has eaten many kebabs from London, I was missing the same aromatic flavours and aromas when going further north. For years I did not find a place that replicated the same taste until I accidentally walked into this restaurant to give it a try. Delicious food through and through, and gave me the biggest sense of nostalgia since Top Gun Maverick. Great place to eat!

Have tried this place 3x since they first opened. And each time it's full garbage. Found a bone in shawarma, donner is very dry. The mince meat which they use for kobida smells very meaty(the raw meat smell) which puts me off. Will not eat from here again. I'll rather stick to friends or simply fresh,Oldham star -takeaways for kebabs. Worst part is they tried to hustle me £2.00 for an extra topping over the phone. Food is not worth the price.

We normally order quite often but the food has gone terrible recently and the management is an utter shambles. Upon speaking to somebody the week before about dodgy chicken burgers we were told we would be able to order said burgers again free of charge, however the manager has told us we need to spend over £10 and even then he can only give us a discount absolutely disgraceful on there behalf. Never ordering from here again avoid at all costs

Aboulsute treasure of a place, High quality ingredients, clean and friendly. Went today for kebah club and sat up stairs, stunning food as always the lamb cooked in a stone oven is amazing! Have attended regularly since my first visit if you haven't been santos take my recommendation and visit their food is excellent!

Always enjoy our food from Santos, the fatayers are amazing, The mixed shawarma great. And the home made chilli sauce is a perfect topping. If they've ever been late, or missed an item from the order, they've always sorted it.

A cheeky late night mixed grill in Oldham. I was starving by this point and ordered a double portion of meat with both chicken skewers and a kobeda kebab. The chicken was juicy and succulent. The Kobeda was really dry unfortunately and I didn't finish it. The rice were also not great and lacked flavour. Overall I was quite disappointed with the dish and wouldn't be keen on revisiting

The freshest, tastiest food. Customer service is great, the staff are so friendly and efficient. When it comes to taking your order and serving they’re clear and quick.
