Been getting food from this establishment near monthly for about 4 years now. Never been disappointed. This is my favourite place for take away in the Borders. Food is always absolutely delicious high quality, staff are friendly, prices are brilliant. Highly recommend!

Waited nearly 2 hours for cold soggy food. I ordered cheese and chips and I got chips with a cheese slice slapped on top. Chips had clearly been reheated. Very disappointed

Ordered mild tikka masala no spice It came and it was far to spicy to eat so complete waste of money

Order my food from here on the app most times I have a take out, I love the range of food they provide because if my family are all wanting different things I can trust sanghatpur has the widest range to satisfy everyone im with without having to order from a variety of places and its always very good quality food and great prices, all of the delivery people I've had have been very kind and polite so im very happy with everything and definatley recommend this place to all of my friends and family

I love your food, but you guys have some real problem with delivery times. There is a reason i order at a certain time and i always order few hours before so there should not be an issue. It came hour before and without the sauce...

it was no problems being early, it was piping hot and excellent service

The battered chicken was awful. Soggy, greasy and too much chicken! I can provide photos. Also it came earlier than should have. When you work to a certain time, book your delivery to arrive at a specific time and they don’t. They did listen to the ketchup etc part

All lovely but korma came spicy abd couldn't be eaten which also meant the garlic naan was surplus. Thanks

Been ordering from them for years and I never have an issue maybe once I had item missing but they sorted it out straight away so I can recommend them

We have ordered from this establishment multiple times but tonight’s meal was very disappointing. We ordered chicken pakora which had been overcook ( although I suspect it was a cheeky double dip in the fryer), the pizza was meant to be a smoke sausage stuffed but it was not stuffed around the whole of the crust . Everything we ordered was bland.

Food was absolutely delicious, just one thing it could have been hotter as temperature was warm.

We had the mixed Sar Beni and a 16 inch stuff crust pizza. The Sar Beni was really really nice and would get this again hands down and we would recommend you try it as something different that isn't available elsewhere locally. The 16inch stuffed crust pizza was also great and on par with anything available elsewhere in town. We would like to add that the establishment followed requests. They have won a customer that's for sure and my only gripe would be that the costs could be lower in today's cost of living crisis.

Ordered just before 9pm, arrived at 11pm after we phoned to see where it was. Driver laughing with a girl outside the house messing about. Battered sausage & chips soggy, probably from being sat in the box too long. Pizza was alright. Shouldn’t take so long for being a 2 minute drive away, and only a pizza and sausage supper.

Food was dry. Won’t be ordering from here again.

I order from Sanghatpur gate regularly but I've noticed recently that the portion sizes have shrunk right down, considering the prices have raised a fair amount you expect a good portion of food

They forgot my chocolate, which in fact said “not for individual sale” on it :( driver did come back and hand it over though. Had chicken tikka instead of normal chicken, apart from that curry was still nice and fresh and so was the rice. Might order from here again, not sure yet.

I'm from over in the US and heard nothing but great things, and they were right! The chicken pizza wrap is unique and delicious. The "chips" as the locals call them were fresh and delicious. This place definitely deserves to be world famous!

Chicken was over cooked. The Korma had a large amount of water on top of the curry. Onion bhaji was undercooked.

Curries from here are ok but I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with the refreshments I placed a order last night and although the food was ok they sent me Turkish imported cola which was tasteless and flat it literally ruined the whole meal I was under the impression I was purchasing coca cola and although it says orijinal tat which I can only assume means original taste its far from it it honestly doesn't taste like regular cola at all very disappointing

Ordered Egyptian and Special kebabs, really well spiced and marinaded, flavour exceptional. The naan had great texture and it came packaged up well with generous portions. Ordered fish on another occasion and it was very fresh, moist and in a light batter, really fab. Both times have been a little disappointed by the chips as they tasted a little bit dry or stale. First time we hoped it was just because it was late, but the second time the chips were sad again.(see updated review) Delivery guy is ace, we are in a motorhome wild camping and on both occasions we have ordered he has been friendly and gone out of his way to find us. Well worth the money and would definitely keep ordering if in the area. Shame about the chips. Updated review: We returned to the Borders and wanted to eat their food again, it really is so good. We ordered a range of dishes, including the amazing Egyptian kebab and the chips were excellent, matching up to the rest of the meal. Outstanding service as always. Thank you

Delivery was early which was great however when the food arrived, it was cold. No cheese on my king naan kebab either which was paid for. Normally great however this time, not the case. When you spend £24 you expect the food to be hot.

Food arrived a bit late, but the fish was still very hot, and was delicious. Baked potato was not as expected, but we should've checked. Apart from that excellent as always.

Food was really good but, Paid for cheese never got it on chips. Ordered Pepsi max. Got a bottle of coke. Delivery 30 mins early but was put as 1:20-1:30.

It looks quite run down when inside and optically doesn’t jump out as being clean/great hygiene. Food was good portion sizes and tasty so can’t complain on that front. Counter staff member was also polite and helpful with a smile. Prices seem fair.

I love this place and the guys who work there are great. Good food too. I got a kid's meal the other night for my granddaughter, and they put salt on the chips and sausage. It's probs out of habit, but please, do not put salt on kids meals. Peace.

Was given wrong pizza Ordered a delux and given a veggie which was over £2 cheaper than what I ordered Tasted nice because the kebab meat I also ordered Almost made up for it and couldn’t sort the order out because take away closed before I realised the mistake First mistake I’ve had from them, but not happy because it’s a mistake that should not have happened and has cost me over £2

Food great as usual except for the korma - tasted rank. Had it before and this is not normal. Just shared the other food - all delicious. Delivered on time with a smile. Salad kept separate from hot food - nice touch.
